Hi,
I have a plan to share my modded keyboard & emoji's font collection with support all unicode 8 code map... but I have little problem with new Whatsapp version (version 2.12.402+)
when sending emojis which has ligatures (ex: emoji flags, new families, new couples), it doesn't show correctly on notification (see attachment). what make me confuse is someone says it only works on 6.0.1, but wait.. attachment below taken from Nexus 5 running on android stock 6.0.1.
Is this also happens in nexus 6p / nexus 5x too ? make sure you use latest whatsapp before test it, you can download from apkmirror or whatsapp page I need the answer as soon as possible because I have plan to share it next monday... and then I can make conclusion this is about (my) font issue/whatsapp issue/ android/system limitation (which mean buy new phone or not) lol

This is happening with both my Nexus 5 and Nexus 5x running 6.0.1. This is a problem with whatsapp update...
Got the same problem on OnePlus One running CM12.1. I would say its either our emoji font or whatsapp messed up something

I dont have got this problem like you on your screenshot. I thought that it will come through your modded fonts and apk and thats why you people search to find the mistake of your mod.

I just want to share my experience with the preview
and I hope everyone share their experiences with other

nexus 6
build NCP56P
and root using phh img187 nocrypt
the build is very stable
and could easily be daily driver
very smooth and fast
some bugs I noticed are
1- some apps tell you that there is missing libraries but most of them work
2- the battery percentage don't stick with reboot
3- some visual glitches
4- you can't turn off data from setting but you can from notification
I will post if I see any other things
Overall the build is very good considering that it is an alpha
Can you tell me how you flash the 187nocrypt img
Someone tested layers ?. Does it work ?

Replace the boot img with phh img (change the name)
and click flash all
You will get android N with root and twrp working

yes the one with nocrypt he update it so the last build
yes the shamu-npc is the one to replace
Just rename the one you download
to that name
and flash all
it will wipe data
Ok but how to flash it now should i zip it again and put it on twrp or by command which i dont know how to do it so if you will be kind and guide me

Nexus 6 volume issue and static noise/crackling

Install minimal adb
and install universal adb driver
and just click on the flash all file

I am running the Android N preview stock on my N6.
As previously stated some apps complain about missing libraries.
I use BatteryBot Pro and to get the battery % to show up in the status bar I had to change the "Main Notification Priority" to default in the BatteryBot settings.
Skype does not work for me.
Agenda Widget Plus crashes, but the dev for that app hasn't updated it since 2013.
I am running non-rooted, stock.
I flashed the preview and did not use the OTA method.

My biggest issue is that, while using Textra, all MMS options are gone. That means no emoji or GIFs. The only thing that comes up is the timed message dialog. I emailed the developer and they said it's a Google bug. Other than that, N is smoother than Chroma, and looks way better. I love the notification shade animation.

I try 7 apps for the camera but doesnt help .. video dont work ..

Maybe you can try other marshmallow roms? Like Chroma or CM13

But you need to enable every permission to google app.

Yes the OK google detection faces some problem in the g assist. Mine one is grayed out.

You try saying OK google and then set the assistant and then restart the phone.
Or clear the google app data and cache from settings. And then restart and then set up the assistant through voice and then restart

Thank you very much for the guide. I successfully installed Google assistant on CM 14.1 for my Redmi 1s. Can you please tell updating cm ROM via ota work fine after installing Google assistant or one has to install Google assistant every time after ROM update? Is is compatible with CM ROM / Mokee ROM running Android 7.1.1 ?

Hi, I had an old side-loaded GCam APK that worked great up until Android 10. It now crashes post the OS update. Can someone suggest an APK that works on Android 10? I am full stock and not rooted. Thank you!

Still can't take a picture from within the Hangouts App. Have to take the picture using the camera and then send it from Hangouts.

My mom has an essential phone on stock. She is currently updating it (finally) to Q. She has always complained that the stock camera app is blurry when taking pics while zoomed in (but not when zoomed out). Is this a known common issue and of it is do any of the GC ports address this?
