Autofocus LED staying on - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was having idle drain in the latest developer preview but my battery stats didn't show anything. I looked at the back of my phone and noticed the red autofocus LED was staying on no matter what, even with the screen off.
I rebooted the phone and the issue went away. So then I got bored and decided to flash a custom ROM. I noticed right when the boot animation started, the autofocus LED came on and stayed on. So then I tried another ROM, and the same thing happened. I then decided to go back to stock marshmallow, the same thing happened there too.
I contacted Google, and after an online chat and a few emails back and forth, they are sending me a replacement.
Here's a pic of the light..

Google said it was a hardware issue, it's just weird that the issue only happened once on Nougat but then became a bigger issue on marshmallow.
If you're getting unexplained idle battery drain, check that light!

[Q] [I9505] Battery Possibly Dead - Heats up, Doesn't Charge

Hey guys,
I'm done on this one. Yesterday, my phone was working normally, as it should, then as I got up a few hours ago, my phone was real hot, like insanely hot, and it didn't respond to anything - No buttons or screen input.
I think the battery's dead, but I can't be sure, mainly because the battery status is good.

That was right after booting, after that it just didn't respond.
I'm trying to get it to boot from my I9300's battery, but without luck, and that's what's putting me off.
My I9300's battery worked fine the last time I used it in my I9505, which was a few months ago, as my phone just buggered up after each load cycle (I had a battery from the bad batch).
Any ideas on this? I'm stumped

Battery draining after reboot

Hi guys, my battery need to be replaced or is a software bug? Because my phone is charging very fast but when I reboot it with 100% of battery level, it goes down to 92%. Same happens when I open apps (like Facebook and Hay Day). Both situations happen with and without the charger. I have already flashed the rom and calibrated the battery many times, no changes. Booting on recovery (TWRP) it show 100% and when I reboot again in recovery it goes down to 92%. I don't know what is happening. Also, measuring with Ampere, this happens:

try full wipe, if thats not working try undervolt maybe? Never saw that, you can try disabling keep awake of other apps in App Ops. Hope something will help atleast.
Changed the battery and the charger connector (the old one was oxidated), still the same :/ I think I'll make a backup and reinstall the ROM (Pure Nexus 6.0)

Wifi turned off, but built-in battery monitor shows it was on the whole time!

I'm getting crazy. Wakelock shows nothing suspicious, greeinfied all the apps that run in the background and no bloatware. But when i turn the wifi off, the battery monitor shows it was on! What the hell? What can i do?

UPDATE:
Changing the accuracy mode on the gps settings to GPS only and after a 10 minute airplane mode, they did nothing. But when i installed GSAM and root companion + a restart, weirdly, it fixed itself. I hope this got all fixed. We'll see :/
Well, it came back. **** lollipop. It seems to be a bug. Im going back to kitkat, then. Lets call this solved, i guess

Issues with battery life

So I've had this phone now for probably 3 months or so, but ever since I got it I've had some issues with the battery life in general, but it has only gotten worse by time and it's driving me crazy. Right now I'm barely even able to go through a day of using the phone without having to bring a charger with me and re-fill the battery, even with only 2-3 hours of on-screen time at most (no games either, just social media like facebook and snapchat etc.).
I've tried many steps to try to fix the issues, at first I tried to restore my phone using Samsung Smart Switch and that did not help resolving the issue. I've also tried to disable apps using Package Disabler Pro and I've also disabled GPS and NFC, but that didn't help at all. Knox isn't tripped.
Is there anything more I can do, or shall I just get it sent back for repairs?
Here's some screenshots showing off the issue:

To be fair, if you're in Marshmallow that's pretty good...

Screen deadzone on repaired phone after rooting

I recently broke my Nexus6p and brought it to Telus and they had it sent to Huawei for repairs.
Now I rerooted my phone and there is now a horizontal touch deadzone on the screen around the middle of the screen that takes up about 15% of it (took a screenshot to show).

I think this may be a software issue as the area of the screen was working when I first got the phone back, it was only until after rooting that I noticed this issue however I have factory reset reflashed a new and old version as well as flashed a custom rom and restored the backup from before I rooted anything and nothing worked. It also requires a pattern to start android which only happened when I messed up backing up and left a password on.
Is there anything I missed? Is there a way to check it this is even software related or if the screen died randomly after having it for a bit?
Thanks in advance!
