Screen Capture

Has anyone found a screen capture method for the Nexus 10?
Thanks
I believe it's a button combo that should work with all Jellybean ROM's. Something like holding the power button + volume up for a second I think.
It's power button + volume down button.
Volume down would be the volume button closest to the power button.
Thanks for yor reply. I've tried the power + volume buttons but it doesn't seem to work on my Nexus 10. Have you tried it on your Nexus 10 and got it to work?

Click to collapse
I just tested to make sure. Yes it works.
Press Power + Volume Down simultaneously for 3 seconds and it'll snap a photo. It should definitely work.
*edit
Here made a video to give you a tutorial:

Works here ... A bit of timing is involved.
Thanks, I've just tried it again and it does work. I think I missed the confirmation signal.

Volume Up + Power crash

Hi,
I was wondering if someone can help me sort a mysterious crash on my X Play M 6.0.1 Dual Sim device. Whenever I press Volume Up and Power on simultaneously the device vibrates and about 60 secs later a crash report is generated. I still think it's Xposed related although it persisted when I uninstalled Xposed. When Xposed is installed and I have e.g. GravityBox running and have the extended power menu enabled, this crash removes the power menu plus e.g. my GravityBox task bar tweaks.
I was wondering if some other X Play users could test this with their devices.
Is there any standard action that is assigned to Volume Up + Power?
Here's my original post in the XPosed sub-forums:

Cheers!
Wow. I feel really stupid now. After some more googling it became apparent that USB debugging apparently activates bug reports via Power Up + Volume. It also has options to put the bug report into the power menu.
Apparently the bug report that is created crashes something in GravityBox which is why the power menu disappears. I assume the power menu thing gets reinitialised.
Sorry for confusion.
Problem resolved.

Switch songs with volume buttons

Its any way to switch the song with the volume buttons???
I try different play store apps and they dont do anything, also the option in poweramp settings to pass to next song presing vol+ and doesnt work.
I've been searching for the same thing ever since I bought the OP5. I switched to a LOS rom only for this reason but the lack of stock camera and some lag in performance made me revert to OOS. I've tried Frinky and couple of other apps but they aren't a workaround.
The <> gestures on the OP5 lock screen are horrendous.
Use the play/pause button
Use the play/pause button on your headset. Two push to next, three to previous song.
These are the standard OOS methods, no option for the volume keys on phone, don't know why.

New G5 plus, Power button or volume to Answer?

Hello, I recently purchased a G5 plus. While I like the thing, Sometimes I have problems answering the phone. For some reason, it just doesn't want to respond to touch properly. My last phone had a setting to use the power button or home button to answer calls. Anyone know how I can set something like this up on this phone? I mean I know there isn't a physical home button, but maybe one of the volume or power buttons? Any ideas would be great.
Custom roms allow this. I know for a fact RR does, so give that one a look at. Overall, RR is a great rom too!

3 button headphone remotes, vol+ skip fwd ,vol- skip bck,no root,is it possible

Is there a way to double tap the + and - buttons on a 3 button headphone remote for ski[p track forward and skip track back
without root? or even with root?
I have tried 3 apps already and none of them even recognize a single press of either button
6p stock N
For changes like that at least root is needed I imagine. I use to love that feature on the phone having volume buttons to skip tracks while in my pocket at work. Some of the custom ROMs have it baked in. Don't think possible remote or headphones.
