I want to give my old X1 to my daughter, but it has a really slow rom installed on it.
Now I was searching for the stock R3AA013 Vodafone Rom that it once had.
Looking online, all the rapidshare libraries / megaupload libraries are gone.
Does any one still have an old version laying around?

i'l help if I can but ive got a 1 gig memory card only, btw after reading all the reports about differant rom versions I must say I thing the vodafone is the most stable.

Guys can you use vodafone live and watch live tv, been trying to get this to work for ages with the standard Jasjar rom and no luck, if you can please find a way to get this rom to us

I have a German Vodaphone VPAC 2 and would like to know which rom i could use to update my ROM because I would like to get rid of the continous hidden softresets ;(
Or can I use a wwe rom and use a language pack to have everything back to german language?!

I would also be interested in ... this ROM is getting old now, and it seems many bugs have been fixed in the QTEK ROMs. There's another forum (in German) here where many people have the vpc2:

I have the TMobile german ROM for a week now, works fine so far (though can't change the splash screen somehow). Be aware that it's labeled as "beta", it's 2.8.something, on the FTP.
Does anyone have the 1.43 Vodafone Rom that came with their HD2 from Vodafone UK?? If so can you put up a link to it. I've done a search of the Leo sub forum but can't find any one who has done Vodafone (plenty of O2 and T-Mobiles though)

i have it on my device as i havnt upgraded it yet, but i dont have a clue how i can upload it to so you can get it?????

Yea, my problem is i've used the Gold Card method to upgrade my Rom, but would like to know that I can flash her back to the Vodafone Rom in case i have to send it back.

could anyone give us a downloadable(extracted!) GERMAN VODAFONE 1.43 ROM that is on all HD2`s delivered until now in 2009 ?
I want to Goldcard-flash this ROM but with the option to set it back to initial Vodafone Standard as delivered...
At the moment it is absolutely unsure when Vodafone Germany will offer newer
ROM versions...1.48...1.61...2.1...if at all !
(on former HTC phones Vodafone didn´t offer any newer ROMs for more than a year after release...)

I currently have my HD2 with Vodafone.
I recently updated the ROM to the one on the HTC website to only now find out that if you don't use the ROM from the Vodafone site, this invalidates your warrenty.
When Vodafone release their new ROM, if I update to this does my phone then continue to be covered under their warrenty?

Yep, Vodafone won't know that you have flashed your ROM once you switch back.
I am in a search for the Vodafone 1.43 NLD ROM (dutch). Can anyone post this please or a link to it?

Thank you guys - I damaged my screen but Vodafone are sending a replacement by courier tomorrow so need to get it back to the original rom just to save there being any problems...
On a side note - considering all the problems I had getting the phone from Vodafone in the first place the on-line team were really helpful today when I eventually got through....

So did everything ended well? The upgrade I mean? I also downloaded the ROM with atreidex serial but havent installed it yet. ROM is 1.37.70.1 that should be English language (according to HTC) but I am asking cause I would not wanna end up with my touch2 on Romanian, and I do want to upgrade.

i don't know what is updated in this Orange ROM. I only want this because i was hoping, that there are some newer EXT packages or something but the EXT Packes are older than the EXT packages of the official ASIA WWE ROM.
So, i think it's not useful for me. I only want to take a look at the Orange-Homescreen because the Orange-Homescreen für SPV500 was very popular...

Hi i have an unbranded HTC HD Mini. It's running ROM 1.36.401.1 (94538) WWE
I have a few issues with the phone a thte moment - crashes, tweet not working and the battery going from 90%-70% in 5 minutes with no progs running (i've changed the battery already) and thought i would upgade the ROM.
The HTC site has become useless, no ROM downladas, etc. Their suport people basically where no help.... so....
Which ROM is the latest official ROM for the device (UK/Europe, no carrier, although i currently have an O2 SIM) and where can i get it from (all links on google back to htc.com do not currently work as htc.com redirects everything to a generic help page).
I have not used a custom ROM before and m not toally against the idea as long as it works, Co-pilot will install and it's stable!
i have seen a link to the shipped ROMS list, but havent got a clue what all the code names are ad which one is correct fort he HD Mini.

If you need English ROM it seems RUU_Photon_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_1.36.479.1_Radio_Signed_32.2803.05.06_0.63.05.36_Ship.exe is the latest one.

Is there any reason not to use the 1.38 version from o2 or the v1.41 from voafone? both UK.
i have no idea what additiona functionality they have, but i thik carriers tend to turn bits from the stock rom off dont they?
There is no much differences between roms.
For you reason (fix the battery issue) any rom could be good.
And you could apply any other rom if one is not suits you.
