Hello,
Unfortunately I have a problem with samsung galaxy A5, SM A-5000, dual sim variant China issue a post here although it is "somewhat" nonspecific.
Because the call was not heard of interlocutors I went to the service to change the microphone.
Microphone module for acquiring service representative initially appealed Samsung, she refused because she did not supply piece was sold in Romania and had to resort to an aftermarket supplier.
After the substitution, the microphone is working properly instead appeared another problem:
- phone automatically answers with no reason;
This happens almost immediately, approx. 1 sec., Did not grab ring / vibrate.
I mention that:
- I tested with several sims without result,
- I returned to default settinga on the system and on the recovery without result,
- I tried all settings, basic and S Voice and nothing;
- I installed all Samsung official ROMs (version HK / China), which enables the model, nothing;
- I installed the only existing unofficial ROM, MIUI - Version 6, without result,
It is a surprise for service, but after I left there I had to move the sim card in another phone.
Because the sim card requires change IMSI in new phone (which has not happened before) I called the network operator for mentoring and on this occasion I told them and what problems we had with Samsung that after changing the microphone.
The answer to the technically I put the thoughts:
- service change the microphone but was not properly configured the software with the phone - I knew it was not necessary,
- service not changed microphone only widened the parameters of soft / its sensitivity so you can hear properly but with the risk that increasing sensitivity over a certain threshold phone to take command of automatic response.
I apologize for posting quite long but you can ask for help and guidance was met someone with such a situation.
Thank you.
PS. It can make a setting in service mode microphone ?
I did nothing serviced.
My proposal I made a test with WhatsApp and working properly.
Only gsm do so.
* Unfortunately, although the new versions have appeared lollipop on this problem remains lack of signal.
I was desperate I think is still a hardware problem.

Guys, good afternoon ...
I will here report the problem I'm having with my S4 GT-I9505.
Well, for some time he had been presenting a problem was this: Several times a day appeared the message "SIM card removed - RESET" and I had to reset the machine. The unit restarted and returned to work normally ... I thought the problem was the CHIP SLOT. I was in technical assistance and changed it. After the exchange, the device became standard for about two months and again the same problem. Only now, in addition to this problem is happening the following: My CHIP OF TIM simply no longer works on my machine. Simply states "NOT REGISTERED IN THE NET". Already I switched ROM, went back to the original ROM and nothing. I root, did various procedures on the internet and the problem is not solved. However, if I put the CHIP TIM my wife on the unit works perfectly. Ahhhhh John, then the problem is in your CHIP. No! Already redeemed the CHIP 3x in a single week in a TIM store, and yet no sign of life (but the CHIP my wife continues to work perfectly in this meso machine. And this my CHIP usually work on any other device, mention in my). Any other operator also works on my machine (I've tested Hi, Claro and VIVO). Today, on 02.17.2016 I decided to abandon this my CHIP (and number) and decided to buy a new TIM CHIP with a new number. Well, I was very glad to buy this new TIM CHIP the device worked perfectly, made registration, activation ... everything perfect ... Unfortunately happiness only lasted 15 minutinhos when did the old message "SIM card removed - RESTART ". But this time, when you restart the CHIP unit no longer works, appears again the message "NOT REGISTERED IN THE NET". Put the CHIP my wife on the unit works perfectly ... I put my CHIP in her unit, usually works ... I'll be my CHIP for my appliance does not work anymore ...
Well, I hope someone has understood my problem and if anyone knows of a solution thank you very much!
Hey guys, I'm having an issue that I can't seem to resolve on my own. I recently broke the screen on my Note 5 so I decided to use my old Note 4 until the Note 8 comes out. Today I took out the phone, placed my simcard into it and started it up. I thought everything was fine until I tried making a call where it just gives me a pop up notification that I'm not registered on the network.
The phone isn't locked, bought it new unlocked. No custom roms (ever), IMEI is correct (naturally). So far I've reset the phone to factory settings to see if that would help to no avail.
If manually choose a carrier manually (both searching and choosing one takes longer than usual) I get a new message "No Service Selected Network (Telia N) not available".
The phone worked prior to me putting it away, my sim card works in other phones. Any suggestions or am I up sh**s creek without a paddle?
take out the simcard and try an emergency call (in my country it's a crime to playing with it. But without the card nobody can catch you.)
if the message appears again = it seems HW related problem
if the emergency call is working = it seems your phone restricted by the carrier and you need to ask the customer service why. Maybe a mistake
Thanks, it appears to work without sim card dialling 112. I'll email and call my service provider tomorrow.
I am using a Samsung S4 GT-i9505. I'm on MOBITEL (Slovenia) or as it is now called Telemach.
So my issue is the following:
Everytime i try to use any network mode other than (GSM only) my connection becomes Emergency calls only.
Issue started appearing after nearly 1.5 years of usage.
I occasionally get a Sim card Removed message, this issue was frequent after 1.5 years than it somehow stopped (nearly).
I checked my IMEI CERTI says NA. Though my IMEI is the same as the one on the box of my phone.
Thing that happend/I did:
My LCD screen got replaced, before that there was no issue.
Replaced sim card, replaced Sim tray (after the issue started reappearing), sometimes (on really rare occasions) 4G somehow works.
*I did have root on my phone
Multiple firmwares, currently a stock one from sammobile (5.0.1):
- AP_I9505XXUHOA7_CL3996895_QB3867680_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar
- BL_I9505XXUHOA7_CL3996895_QB3867680_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar
- CP_I9505XXUHOA7_CL3996895_QB3867680_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar
- CSC_OXA_I9505OXAHOA7_CL3996895_QB3867680_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar
All installed using Odin3 (v3.12.3)
Later I installed:
- GSM_Modem_I9505XXUHOE2_and_LTE_Modem_I9505XXUHOE2 which did not help either.
Thank you for your help.
If software doesn't resolve your issue, the only thing left is hardware. In your case, I don't believe the SIM card tray is the issue here, but the motherboard.
Have someone look at the device.
I just received my phone after being in service where they replaced my motherboard (Allview V1 Viper L a.k.a. Gionee Pioneer P6). I put the SIM card from my temporary phone (working fine) to my personal phone. On my phone (the one from service) there is no service, as it is displayed on my lockscreen NO SERVICE - ORANGE. I tried selecting both manual and automatic network (Can't connect right now. Try again later - automatic & Error searching network - manual). My IMEI seems to be fine, it's the same with my last IMEIs (they changed motherboard, but not my IMEIs). I did try to put the SIM card in the both SIM sockets - no difference. I checked again my SIM card on another phone - works OK. I did a factory reset - no difference. Is it something that I can do? I don't want to send it in service again, as I think it's a software problem to whom I could? find the solution. Comment if you need additional info about my device.
Hi guys,
I have problems with my S8 duos and i want your ingenious insight. I'l try to explain the problem but please keep in mind that English is not my native language.
I've bought this mobile from a retailer on ebay on June17. I'm from Greece and the local samsung dealership doesn't import the duos variation (the supported frequency bands are the same). It worked perfectly for 4 months. Two months ago the cell signal started dropping (I have strong signal in my region) in one sim card or both of them. Sometimes the device worked ok for a day or two but eventually the problem continued to appear (signal going up and down, sometimes stuck to no signal indication forever). Last week the mobile updated firmware to ver g950fxxu1aqk7/g950foxm1aqk7/g950fxxu1aqk7. This update totally wrecked my cell signal. Know the signal is dropped (until no signal indication appears) within a minute of rebooting the device. Now, only within this minute I can make calls or exchange mobile data!
So far I have tried various things
a) installing sim cards on different cell phone -> worked faultless on 2nd mobile
b) installing different sim card on S8 -> same problem
c) rebooting -> temporary fix 2 months ago (for a a day or two max), now nothing
d) wipe cache -> same as above
e) factory reset -> same as above
The last straw for me was when i started the initialization setup after a factory reset and the problem appeared before installing anything!
So far I've concluded that it's either a hardware fault or something firmware related. I want your help to rule out the firmware aspect.
I've called samsung service and from the IMEI number they told me the selling market for my mobile was UAE (no warranty for me!). From the service provider software tab in the device I read eur/eur/pak. I installed the samsung info app and it appears that the active csc code is eur (correct -> Greece) and csc country is segr/gr.
Do you have any suggestions from me? Is there anybody out there facing similar problems?
Thank you for the time you spend reading about my problem,
