LG Leon 4G LTE: phone start but launch a command-like mode - LG Leon Questions & Answers

Hi,
I've got a LG Leon 4G LTE, 4 days ago the phone seems to have its batteries empty, but when I charged up my phone and turn it on, right after the LG logo it show me a black screen with some code on it.
Code:
[24650] fastboot_init()
[24650] Error: Auto CMD12 error
[24650] Error: Command timeout error
[24650] Failed to send stop command
[24660] Failed Readind block @ 1f78
[24660] Error: cannot read data
[24760] USB init ept @ 0x8f1df000
[24280] udc_start()
I tried to search internet and forums but I just found things similar but wich were not the came code / phone, and it was around two years old, also it did not seems that what I've found worked for anyone..
If someone could tell me what the problem is, why it does happens and if I can how can I solve it..
Thanks

OP2 Bricked

A few days ago I was running xodus rom and the battery was at about 50% and the phone instantly shut off and I have not been able to get it back on since. I have tried the method of letting it sit for 12 hours and then charging for 6 but that didnt work. I have been trying the unbrick methods on the forums here but I cant get any of those to work. The problem is when I get to the step where I run the recovery tool and press start, nothing happens. I am running it as admin. Ive tried different ports on the computer and even running a vm of a different version of windows but nothing. Any help with this would be much apreciated. I can even teamviewer with someone if theyre willing to take a look at what I mean.
Edit: I am getting this on the recovery tool:
dynamic_nvbk.bin: OK
emmc_appsboot.mbn: OK
gpt_backup0.bin: OK
gpt_main0.bin: OK

Are u referring to the qualcomm recovery tool? I semi bricked mine yesterday and took me a while to figure out how to get into that mode. I even tried on 3 different PCs to get the drivers working as i got it messed with ADB then OnePlus drivers. Into consideration too that 1 of the machine was in windows7, two on 8.1 so need to go to the driver signature disable thingy. Lucky me, i have my screen on as i still have like 70% battery in it. not sure bout yours.
If youre able to charge and boot it to at least fastboot or get the LED blinking to show it has battery to boot, next step is just to play around and get the qualcomm recovery mode working well. Dont give up man. you can do it.

try this. This is slightly modified version. This worked for me after trying it for three times.
(Also flash H2OS, because O2OS doesn't install when you get up to recovery.)
Turns out that my phone shut off and was not able to recover with the qualcomm tool because of hardware damage.

Lg Leon 4G LTE - totally unbricked.

Hello everyone! This is my first post on this site. Im so sorry for my poorly english, but i'm enough desperate to write here. I got this phone in bad condition. I will not explain what exactly happened, but it was started from the fact, that system wasn't work good. Keyboard has been permanently removed, a lot of system applications/functions (e.g Sms or notifications bar) didn't work. Some processes e.g "com.android.whatever" had a 0,00 bytes. Immediately point out, that was a brand soft from Plus ( one of hugest operators from my country).
Factory reset didn't resolve the problem. Owner was tried to install new system by KDZ Updater and solutions like a "unbrick-guide-lg-leon-lte-metropcs-lgms345-kdz-firmware" (this is a full link but i can't add him to this post) or something like this. Just he had MetroPCS ROM. Then he wanted back to old, Brand ROM, and tried with similar guides, also by KDZ files and applications. Each attenpt was ended in the bootloop, since the Download Mode was got error like this:
[470] fastboot_init()
[480] Loading keystore failed status 5 [580] USB init ept Q 0x8f1df000
[600] udc_start()
[710] -- reset --
[720] --portchange --
[810] -- reset --
[810] -- portchange --
Now, smartphone is in my hands. The same problem was appeared when i was plug phone to my PC. Device manager showed:
Other devices - Android (yellow exclamation mark)
However, I discovered something strange. Download mode which showed this error is launches by holding Volume DOWN and plug to PC. When I press Volume UP and plug to PC appears... Update Firmware Mode. But PC still don't recognize this mode.
I was dicovered, that "USER" (in this field down in this Firmware Update mode) changing number. Sometimes it is "USER B100 or USER B96, USER B98...)
And that in Devices Manager:
Mobile Devices LGE Andoid MTP Device (yellow exclamation mark)
I tried with many variants of LG drivers, from many sites and none of them don't solve the problem
I haven't idea what I can do in current situation. I can't install KDZ ROM to the phone, because both of Download Mode can't connect with the PC. For the same reason I can't fix the "udc start" error. Phone has a bootloop. Recovery mode by LG can only performing a factory reset. Is it possible to fix this problem?
I think I was tried everything. I was used every one hint from the Internet, and I'm at a standstill. It remains only to give the phone for authorized LG service?

Hi guy,
I had a similar problem on weekend. I tried lot of methods and I fixed my phone. I don't have download mode yet, but i did my phone boot to system properly.
I don't know exactly what I did, my on forums of LG G3 a man posted 2 lines of comand that you can write on ADB. I think that these commands fixed my problem. But I tried lot of methods, so i can't say with conviction.
I will look on my historic on browser and put here all links that I researched.

Samsung Galaxy A3 (SM-A300FU) - water damage + fun with flashing

Samsung Galaxy A3 (SM-A300FU) went for a deep swim. A phone shop asked to fix it broke screen, another 2 shops told me to forget about it. So, I replaced the screen myself The screen works, but there is something strange happening.
What works:
- I can get into download mode (*), screen work fine
- I can start the phone (static logo OK, animated logo doesn't show). I can hear sounds, pressing volume works, but the screen stays black.
- I can download photos/videos over usb MTP with linux (phone screen black)
- the phone just beeped, (I guess, for low battery), so the main part of the system seems to be partially OK
What doesn't work"
- screen stays black after normal full start
-(*) download mode a few days ago worked fine, so I downloaded pit file. I also have the original firmware. Now when I try to download pit or flash with heimdall I get:
Code:
[..]Initialising protocol...
WARNING: Control transfer #1 failed. Result: -9
WARNING: Control transfer #2 failed. Result: -9
WARNING: Control transfer #3 failed. Result: -9
WARNING: Control transfer #4 failed. Result: -9
WARNING: Control transfer #5 failed. Result: -9
WARNING: Control transfer #6 failed. Result: -9
Protocol initialisation successful.
[..]
or
Code:
[..]
ERROR: libusb error -7 whilst sending packet. Retrying...
ERROR: libusb error -7 whilst sending packet. Retrying...
ERROR: libusb error -7 whilst sending packet. Retrying...
[..]
I tried 4 different cables + 3 usb ports to make sure it's not hardware.
I can provide full logs, but looks like part of the firmware is fried as the result of the water damage. And than probably I made it worse by multiple blind resets (power + vol down) when getting into download mode and resets when getting out of the download mode.
The firmware on the phone was original, no mods, no recovery, no root, no developer mode allowed, no adb over usb.
Any idea how to recover from it? At this stage I need to get contacts, but I'm ready for factory reset just to get the phone back to working condition. Is it worth to get A3 jig or it only helps to get into the download mode?
P.S. Screen stays black after power cycle with vol up + home. Should it go into recovery mode?
P.S.S. The screen is not yet glued in, so I have easy access to the internals of the phone.
I managed to flash twrp recovery, downloaded contacts and then I flashed full firmware. But the screen stays black after normal boot.
The screen in TWRP & download works OK. Any ideas what might be wrong?

LG V20 kernel error

Hi.
I am using LG V20
H990DS TWN
with the firmware 10b
I was doing the Dirtysanta exploit and it did not work.
My phone crashed at the step: wait for runfirstme.bat to say run bat2.
After that the phone rebooted.
It went up to the LG Logo, and after that only static.
After a while (30sec)
(after the phone went into the kernel crash mode I did a factory reset and it got me up to the screen where I could hear the LG Sound.
The phone went into this mode:
Kernel Crash!
LGE Crash Handler: Kernel Crash
lge_pet_watchdog
kernel panic - not syncing: fatal expection
what can I do?
I ofcourse did a full dump with LGUP before all this.
Now when I turned off the phone it says the same thing expect gives me a blue kernel crash screen
The reason stating: Error in file lge_init_fw,c, line 221
Error tcb_name policyman
Error tid: Oxea
Error message: Invalid lg_model_name(%s)
Error aux message: No value

Hello ... I am new to this forum, but unfortunately I am stuck with the exact same issue.
Due to not able to unlock the phone H990DS via LG I was trying the dirtysanta hack ...
everything looks ok, till the step to reboot into TRWP ... I can see only static noise on
both screens. You could imagine the TRWP logo, but no function at all -((
After a while a blue screen with the above error appears ... help needed please!
