Could you recommend a good replacing clock /alarm app ? I know I'm being a litrke bit picky but I don't like the stock one , I don't think it's that pretty , I tried alarmy and I didn't really like it, I don't know why Google bought timely , apparently to just let it die .
It's also important for me that the app has a option to see the time at different places in the world , I live abroad and so do a lot of my friends

Not sure if you (also) want a good Weather replacement, but I can definitely recommend this one :

Agreed. I really like this and have been using it for a while now. But the OP asked for a clock app. Not a clock widget.
Oh. My fault misread it. Lol.

Hi.
I've been out of the loop recently with the development of 4.4 due to a house move/ renovation.
I've had a quick look through the rom lists and I know the dev is still at an early stage however im looking for a rom with the following simple bits.
Custom nav height
Customer battery
Customer quick tiles.
Is there a rom currently that offers this
Thanks for any help

I'd definitely be interested, not sure whether the effort is worth it so close to a possible new Android release (Nvidia may push it?).
I love sony. I love Nvidia. What i did since getting my tab today is, update it to the end and then pull up the walkman to work on it. and then been downloading games. Have been developing for Xperia. haven't uploaded much though. I have a bit of experience. So i can help
I think that the main mod will be a custom kernel with more scheduler and more option.
Sorry for my English

Will try that once i get time. Working on an application and my projects are on top priority right off the top of my head!
That would be greatly appreciated.

Would be great !
What is the application on what you're working?
Tbh I was going to start playing with custom builds a while ago for this. But nvidia have done a pretty decent job on the build as it is, and I don't like fripperies , so there wasn't much of significance I could add to it. But always interested to see what others do, so go for it

The Tab as long as i have used it, Just amused me. Nothing less! I didnt find anything out of reach. This device is a beast. Ill see if there is anything the device actually needs!

Hi srcharged, You're wellcome on this forum.:good:
For sure.... I think no one will tell you the reverse. There are so few ROMs available and all based on original Nidia ones.
To say it all, for me, the most important for a new ROM are :
1 - Very light ROM. I hate all these supercharged ROMs with unecessary bloatwares just to make it fun.
2 - Not breaking the fundamentals of the tablet (stilus, GPS, Accelerometer, cover detection, ...).
3 - AOSP or CyanogenMod compatible.
For me, Lollypop is not mandatory since I had to test this new OS on other devices and I was very disapointed to say it at last.
BTW, nice to see new skilled people coming from others forums.

It's about time this get's added by google. It's the one feature I've missed from my samsung devices. Could this be ported to lollipop or is it exclusive to android M? Thanks again for posting this. Wish google would've mentioned it more in their keynote, etc
Glad it worked for ya...

Sweet. Anyone on Chroma use this? Any issues?
Oh, just realized Android M is an entirely new OS. Never mind
Should have posted in m discussion

This is nice!! I would like to be able to long hold on the window to move it.
Something tells me that multi window didn't get mentioned because I don't Think multiwindow will be ready by the final release. It will most likely be in developer settings. Although nice to have is not as functional as Touchwiz. For instance I can't really watch YouTube and use hangouts. Sure I can but as soon as I responded the video paused as soon as the keyboard popped up. I hope when it is release in prime time even away from development settings would be to minimize windows. Back to youtube, if I were on Facebook and wanted to listen to a YouTube video I can minimize the window barely taking any screen real estate and continue doing what I was doing.

Thanks man! Got it enabled. Pretty cool. Hopefully they get this working properly by the time M releases, but I highly doubt it. With a screen the size of the N6, this should have been done in L, but it is what it is.

Yes it is. I'm glad they are developing it though. As our phones get bigger and bigger, it just makes sense. If they truly want tablets to take the place of laptops, this is the right direction. It's extremely buggy though. I thought scrolling inside each of the 2 apps was smooth, but as soon as you try to switch apps in either screen, it gets really buggy.
I know this is a somewhat old thread but I just attempted to flash this through multirom and seem to be in a boot loop now. Know how I can fix it?

i dont think preview 3 was multieom compatible, i might be wrong though. to flash m without multirom, you need to flash the m bootloader first, but on multirom i dont know..

EDIT: Looks like the official builds are on their server now, and can be found here http://get.aospa.co/official/dragon.
Just wanted to give anyone who's interested a heads up. Looks like the pixel c will be officially supported by PA, they currently have a test build out.
https://plus.google.com/+YamilGhazi/posts/J96qSfq3RBB
After being unable to get GMD gesture control working on the N preview, I decided to give it a try. So far working great, no issues that i've come across so far. I used OpenGapps nano and supersu 2.7.4. If you do give it a try, you should probably post some feedback in that linked post for the dev.
Great !
Thanks for the info !

I'd totally flash this but unlocking the Pixel's Bootloader gives that boot delay doesn't it? it really annoys me lol

Short Q - why would be supersu needed with PA anyway? Isn't there root integrated in developer options already?

No, it comes unrooted. Also, as a precaution to make sure it doesn't accidently try to force encrypt the tablet, as I think a lot of their builds do.
Awesome, it took about 6 months, but it looks like the ROMs are finally rolling in!

My biggest reason for not using N right now is GMD gesture controls doesn't work for it, and not sure I want a tablet without gesture control.
Well PA for our Pixel C is very close to stock now... I prefer DU since day 1 - ok, I wish I had some transparency settings like on Temasek but maybe my dreams get real For me not a big deal to switch from DU

Anyone want to test out newer builds of ABC? I have built about 50 so far. Right now I'm rebasing my git with all fresh repos. Working on adding things not present within the rom and cleaning up things. Working to make it stable AF and clean. You can tag me here or on telegram https://t.me/abctaimen
EDIT: 7-15-18 If anyone wants to test later on today, let me know. It will need to be clean flash. im building the one that fixes the sepolicy issues and testing. About 5 more minutes.
EDIT: 7-16-18 New telegram group

Let me make another post haha. I'm still working on squashing everything out and slowly doing things. Basically each repo I'm switching too im making changes and testing for a day to verify stability. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have a good base to work off of. Got to fix sepolicy permissions for adb and nfc. Fix the default clang it's built with. And update most the trees. Then I'll add in the custom stuff I had in it and pick up smart pixels.

Is there any change you get add the sync quick tile? Only thing ROMs don't have.
