Outlook Lockscreen and Notification Buttons? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answer

Hi all,
For whatever reason, the archive button for outlook does not work in either the notification shade or lock screen. I can click the button, but nothing happens. Other buttons (like reply) work fine, and I am able to use the archive feature if I am inside the app.
Any suggestions for what I can do? Is this a known issue?
Thanks in advance!

Did you find a solution to this problem? This would be a great feature to use. It doesnt work on my swing s7.

Keyboard lockup?

Does anyone else find that with the Hermes, you'll be tapping away in the text messaging panel when all of a sudden the keyboard just tops working? The onscreen keyboard still works but it takes a reset to get the keyboard working again?
Hi
Yes I find that happens also occasionally and its really annoying . Has anyone a fix for this ? Firmware update maybe ?
cheers
Martin
Not sure if there's a firmware cure but definitely post if someones found a solution!
Hi,
Having the Universal - this also sometimes happens.
The solution is not 100% but I have found that pressing the contacts button (to launch contacts) seems to resolve it.
Perhaps it might work on the Tytn too!!
Matt
Nice one, will give that a try next time it happens!

SystemProperty.PhoneIncomingCall capture

Hi.
I'm using SystemProperty.PhoneIncomingCall to capture event on incoming call. (C#)
That works perfect when the application is on focus.
But when I'm switching to another program or to the desktop (By clicking the "End Call" button or by hiding my app screen), my application doesn't react to the event, although I can see it is still running (in the task-manager).
Any idea why it happens and how can I fix this issue?
Thanks!
Can anybody help us. I too have a similar problem
Thanks
Ever get an answer? EnableApplicationLauncher doesn't seem to work.

[Q] Widgetlocker and soft keys

Anybody using widgetlocker for a lock screen replacement, I know we know have lockscreen widgets (tho it seems only about 4 to choose from) but what I love being able to set is shortcuts for gmail, phone and messaging right there and have support for unread messages/missed calls with telsa unread.
Anyway the problem I have is that widgetlock doesn't seem to disable the soft keys (like the stock lockscreen does) so basically I can just bypass unlocking. Anybody have a work around, I know this isn't the first device with softkeys so this must have been a problem that as come up before.
NVM, root helper and 'hide navigation keys' got rid of the soft keys, only problem now is it is just so laggy/unresponsive to touch, takes several attempts to unlock. Hopefully this is just a bug with 4.2 devices and they will fix it soon.
I got a problem w/widgetlocker and the multitask softkey. When I go to the lockscreen, it takes a second for the multitask softkey to appear while the back and home keys are lighted automatically. It just happened today..does anyone w/widgetlocker experience that problem? I wonder if there's a way to fix it and it's starting to bother me.

No touch input after update to Lollipop

Need help as my phone became barely usable aftaer OTA update.
The top end of the screen (about 1 cm top to down) is not responding to touch. I cant tap any input in common use cases like using google search box widget, answering a call while in app using the new call feature, tap Send when composing an email and so on...
The only case this part of screen is active is when pulling down the notification bar, tapping objects like the clock (time display) Setting icon etc'. So I beleave this is not a hardware issue.
I did wipe the catch with no help and reset to factory setting with no help as well.
Did anyone experiance the same issue?
Any idea how can I overcome this except down grading back to 4.4.2?
Any easy trick for some one who is not a developer or deeply technical?
THANKS!

Lollipop nexus 4 button overlay problems

Hi,
Wondering if anyone else is getting this bug after lollipop update? Round overlaid buttons such as the compose new email in gmail or button for the keypad in the dialler app are completely unresponsive. It's like they aren't there and when I press them - it will open whatever is just behind it like an email or a contact in the dialler. It's a frustrating bug.
I'm pretty sure it isn't hardware because the touchscreen works in that area on other apps and it started with lollipop. Factory reset has not fixed it either.
Any ideas?
Thanks
have you tried reinstalling the Factory image (if Stock) via adb, or at least tried to fastboot flash the boot.img / system.img? Its pretty obvious, that it's not a hardware issue, cause you said, the touchscreen works on that location.
