Hello,
is there anybody who knows a way to make Libon works on android 2.3.7 / cm7?
the old 3.0.1 version which runs on cm7 launch, but it says "no connection available" when we enter our login/password.
On the Play store, the new version says "not compatible with this phone" i red that is only working with android 4.x.x + smartphones now...
As i have 2 defy (a CM11 and a CM7) i managed to copy the new version of Libon in the CM7 Defy but i have the same problem: "no connection available" again.
If somebody as an idea about that, it would be cool.
Thank you
kind regards from France

Unfortunatelly I don't have permissions to reply in this topic, so I created this one.
I have Installed CM7.2 (from Quarx) on stable recovery and ICS to latest recovery. I use multiboot for this.
Everything worked good, but one of the newest version of ICS has newer kernel, so after I choose it phone just stucks at Moto logo...
So I have 2 questions:
1) Is it possible to get working new ICS on multiboot?
2) If no, how can I delete ICS from latest recovery and install there other firmware?
Thanks

Nope its not possible to have the newer versions including 111207 on multiboot!
to get rid of ICS in the latest boot you can just flash an other .zip over it, like miui or stuff...
hope it helped, greetz Esok
It is possible
Yes, it is possible. The only vital pre-requisite is to upgrade the main CM7 system to 2.3.4 kernel version.
But before, take care of:
1. The 2.3.4 kernel has some issue regarding camera, specially green lens (I think it doesn't work yet). Red lens work great, after a few work around with some overlay libs. (all this stuff very well described on CM7 thread).
2. Once you upgrade the kernel, you could install CM9 latest test builds.
pros:
- both systems running latest GB kernel (remember be sure to use 2.3.4)
- great to have CM7 and CM9.
cons:
- be sure to fix your camera in CM7. (of course, hope you have red lens )
- in my case: CM9 boot, but it doesn't detect the baseband (if I check "About phone" Baseband details show "Unknown"). WiFi work Ok.
I really appreciate any advice in this last comment.
Happy holidays

Depends on what rom you want..
the list are the options .. in addition to the standard moto released 2.2.2 and defy+ 2.3.4 roms are also avaible which you u have to flash..
before proceeding with the flash read this::
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=966537
used the defy+ rom was very satisfied with that.. used to get 12-16 hrs with 3g+ calls and now on CM9+ ADW .. 24hrs+
Having a problem after the latest KANG builds of cm7 that i cant update my apps on market or install many new ones since market claims that "not supported by device"... any idea what this is all about? when i ran 7.1 stable + nightlys a didnt have this problem... tried with the app "device spoofer" but that just made my display very dark and market still wouldnt allow me to do anything...
Hi everyone,
I was trying to post this in another thread but I'm unable to post in the Development sector.
I have a Motorola Defy+ running the Android 2.3.5, I've tested the following ROM's:
CM9 by quarx
CM9 by Epsylon
Both runs just fine, but I was thinking this weekend to test another rom's to have new experiences and found out about the MIUI, which seens to be a very good rom.
But the fact is that I'm facing some troubles trying to run this rom.
Everytime I try to apply it, the Recovery says to me that the install went ok, but once I reboot the phone, I got stuck in the Motorola Bootloader screen, and I have to flash a stock SBF again.
I've tried the STABLE (GB) and the BETA (ICS), both got the same problem.
Different versions of 2ndinit (1.4, 2.0, 2.3).
Does anyone know why I'm having this problems?
I would appreciate any help.
Best regards,
AFAIK, MIUI requires Froyo kernel and Defy+ has GB kernel.

MIUI is a froyo based ROM.
Downgrade to froyo if you need to flash it..

Hi Guys
After getting fed up with stock gingerbread , I looked into custom ROMS and have spent hours trawlling through posts ,guides and forums
Im trying to load a stable Rom to my Defy + which supports BT handset .( I drive a lot in UK) I found that the most up to date ROM , that supports BT handset is CM 9 , Android 4.0 ICS . I was pleased with this ROM, until I found that Google Play and Home button does not work correctly , maybe a different rom was needed
Perhaps I have a wrong/old GAPPS installed (GAPPS 4.1.1) ?
I would like to hear from anyone who has a similar experience , who found a more up to date rom/stable which supports BT HANDSET, while being more snappier than Gingerbread
Phone is rooted , running on T Mobile in UK
Defy+ MB525
Android 4.0.4 CM9 Mod
GAPPS 4.1.1 2012-07-26
ICS recover 5.7.0
