[Q] Weird Issue with Default dialer and Swype

When I use swype and default dialer, during dialing a number I am getting connected to wrong number only. The dialer shows only the number I am dialing but the connected number is wrong number.
For eg; if I dial 1234567890 the opposite person says something like 113355778800.
But When I am using my default dialer and default keyboard I am not getting this problem.
I tried it many times but the problem araises only when I activate swype keyboard.
Does the dialer keypad and normal QWERTY keypad are related in anyway?
Does any one know how to solve it?
Because of this I cant use swype which I love to use.
Model : X10i
Base band : 1.1.31
Build : R2BA026
Firmware country : India
Swype Version : 1.56.30.7625.t100

[Q] Is it possible to change keyboard in CM7??

Hi
Is it possible to change keyboard in CM7 to phone keypad ??
it is really difficult to send message with its default keyboard...
tnx
Yes of course you can, just download one from market then go into language and keyboard settings and enable it. Then bring your keyboard up and long press on text screen and change imput method to new keyboard.
Alternative is to remove latin.ime from system apps and replace with other keyboard.
Big buttons keyboard is quite good, used it for a while but stock is more responsive and the new ics keyboard posted in apps and themes thread is awsome.

[Q] Samsung keyboard input problem

When want to write messages & on samsung keyboard, swipe the space bar to change language keyboard input, it won't change the
language. As on samsung keyboard settings, input languages, as there is 2 languages on it.
However on keyboards and input methods, the samsung keyboard tick is grayed out.
There is just only Samsung Keyboard & Google voice typing.
When I did factory reset, it did work. But later when adding some apps,
later it won't work of changing languages..
What's the problem?

On Nougat - how can I add a row of number to the keypad?

I've come from a Samsung which had a row of numbers above the qwerty keyboard which I found really helpful/convenient.
I googled how to do this for my Nexus 6p, on Nougat 7.0 and I can't find any obvious way in preferences or in the keyboard itself. Am I missing something or do I need to download a different keyboard?
Thanks once again for the help everyone.

I use swift key and I know they have it, not sure about the others, sorry.
Long press the comma in the Google keyboard, and tap the Settings gear. Select Preferences--> Custom input styles, then tap the + icon. Choose your Language, and for Layout select PC.
thanks to both of you
I'm trying out the PC layout. a bit crampt so might look at swift key.
thanks!
Before I was on Nougat MM google keyboard would give you a dedicated number row when entering a password. It was only when the cursor was in a password field. I thought that was odd, had never seen that before on a google keyboard. But that just means the keyboard has the functionality to have a dedicated number row and NOT be in the PC layout. I'm surprised that some dev hasn't figured out a way to have that row at all times.
