Oneplus 2 StyleSwap cover question - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I just got the Kevlar backcover and noticed something. The default cover does not have the 2 connector pins which are on the Kevlar swapcover. What are they for?

i think that works only on hydrogen os and as you insert the cover it automatically changes your current theme to match the covers color. I did that with the rosewood cover. I am running hydrogen os and there is an option for that to happen in the settings menu

To go more into detail:
It is a resistor with a special value. The phone measures it and then knows which cover was put on.

green blue white red
yes i like this but how to???
It s really really easy.At first i thinked to change the smd leds like someone of this forum in htc section...But then when i opened the phone to look at the led,i ve noticed that under those touch buttons there are some stripes of like insulating tape to diffuse the light. All I had to do was to detach those stripes, and attach the new coloured ones.I used insulating tape, the worst it's better because is more trasparent and so you have best lightning. And then you have reversible coloured buttons.
its awesome...i got a lot of insulating tape floating around here... i ll try that mod, thank you

Has anyone Found a back cover for this device ?

I got one of these..
I yet can't find a back cover for this.
Only thing i have found are stupid pouches.
If anyone comes across a back cover please post a link, cause the back looks made of very soft plastic one drop and it will get scratched.
Thank you
Backcase found it!!! not quite sure its worth it
Amzer-Pudding-TPU-Case-Black in fommy site
I found a compatible cover.
This is for the micromax A1 ( the other Android One phone we have).
Works perfect though the camera hole look's funny.
It's a Bit Covered but functionality is not hindered

That is Smart Cover (flipflap). It is triggered by magnetic sensor in the screen above the recents key. You can trigger it off again by using another magnet in that area. Then go to:
Settings>Connected devices>Smart Cover
Where you can disable it.
To remove it completely from your phone, you can:
Settings>Configurations>Miscellaneous>System app remover
And delete Flipflap. Smart cover settings option will remain, but it won't bother you anymore

Problem with back cover cool1 c103

Hello,
A few days ago I changed the housing back cover of the cool1 and in the new back cover there aren't the black tapes as I had in the old one (you can see in the attached photo, which I find on the internet, the black tapes). So, I tried to remove the black tapes from the old back cover to the new one. Unfortunately, I damaged the tapes so now I need new ones and I do not know where to find them. Or I can buy another back cover with these black tapes but the sellers do not have with tapes.
In addition, after the change of the new back cover, the loud speaker is not working. And I do not know if I have to buy a new audio speaker or the problem is the black tapes?
P.S. The black tapes are antennas as I can understand because now I do not have LTE (4g) network.
