i need to fake temporarily my phone as an android tv device and search a way to fake a nexus player
i tried many apps (best is xposed device faker plus) but can t find any android tv device in the list ...

Little retrospection:
I am member for 3 years and have device: HTC TYTN,Samsung i780, HTC Touch Pro and I like forum..so many custom ROM, aplication and people help when you have problems-questions.
For 8 months I've been away form this forum. In december last year I buy Nokia N900 and I like it so much (I don't want to compare phones, platforms, software....etc)
Now I decide to jummp in new platform after Windows mobile and Maemo5.
I Like Android and Galaxy S(super fast and full with potentiality)
In home i have Dreambox TV reciever and combination with Home computer and software - Knots2 (http://wiki.maemo.org/Knots2)
With this software(server) I can change program on Dreambox reciver, stream TV, share(stream) pictures and video from computer and most important i can make different streaming profile depending of the internet speed( 3G or when I use WIFI)
In Nokia N900 there is two ways of operating:
1. From web browser
2. Application(someone make this beautiful application)
In Galaxy S I still can use web browser to control server(knot2).
The problem is:
Dreambox and Knots2 are on VLC fondation and I can't make VLC stream over RTSP protocol.
Can someone advise me, Android video player with HTTP capability.
If you can help me to solve this problem, Galaxy S will completely replace N900 in the way I use phone ;-)

Things needed:
1. An android phone having a Micro-HDMI or MHL capability. ( I used my old Sony ericsson Xperia Neo V for this)
2. (Optional) Older androids don't have much RAM to receive casts and play them without much stutter. So i would suggest you to remove most bloatwares including Google Apps (Google play services sucks a lot of RAM so i had to do this)
3. Install this application from playstore [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cloudsiva.kx.cast&hl=en]
(Disclaimer: I have not linked this application for any commercial purpose or any other intention to compromise your devices. I suggest this application because it doesn't display any ads and it just works as i wished)
4. Connect your android phone to your Home Wi-Fi and plug your phone to your TV with the Micro-HDMI or MHL cable. You can also plug the usb cable to your phone and TV so it gets charged while you use the device
5. Since this app uses DLNA you need a few more steps for casting videos. Install this app from the playstore to your other phone (not the one connected to the TV) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aesoftware.tubio&hl=en. So that you can select the android as TV from the menu. It is normally displayed as KXcast(your phone model, MT11i in my case)
6. So as we had done every steps, now go to Youtube app in your phone (not the one connected to the TV) and click on share button above the video select Tubio app. Select your old android phone as TV and click play. It will show connecting to service please wait for a few seconds and then would play in your TV through your old Android device

Nero streaming player (Select the videos you want and play to the DLNA/Airplay enabled device you don't need Tubio for this. I have used Tubio only to play from youtube or other apps)

You can also use the app KXcast to receive Videos or Music from your Windows 10 Device. Click cast to device and select KXcast (Phone Model option) to play media files. Media playback depends upon the processing power of the receiving device. My phone is powered by a single core processor. So the Maximum resolution to restricted to 1280x720 and also only supported Media formats will play.

I have px5 in my car. I guess it has android 9 stock firmware. I have installed regular spotify on google play. And it wanted to login with my spotify account. But I'm using the car with my wife. And as you imagine, I don't want to use same spofity account with my dear. Because it might be caused to ruine my song algorithm on the account. :angel:
So I tried to install spotify android tv version via aptoide tv app market. but it did not work.(I did same thing with youtube tv version on device and its working.)
How can I use Spotify with multi account as like Spotify TV version? Do you have any idea about that?

Hello i have EON TV by Android and my TV happen like smartTV that have google play and can donwond app and more have browser and more but i have problem with browser rhe or missing in googleplaystore or not working my browser chan donwond apk from other place some of them are donwold but still not installet i feel like my EON TV android device is restricted for use. Can you anyone have this problem to shere how to fix it and make working probably

Something tells me it’s probably going off more than just brand, such as hardware requirements and safetynet and drm status. You might want to google how to install Netflix on a rooted device, because Netflix is probably treating your device as somehow unofficial like it does with rooted ones. You basically just have to install a certain version of Netflix that allows it. I recommend the websites apkpure or apk mirror for safe app downloads outside the Play Store and just side loading them onto your Android TV with an sd card / cable / Bluetooth etc.
