Encryption password screen is stuck in German language - how to change? - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I've recently gone back to unrooted stock in readiness for the soon-to-be Marshmallow release. I used the following firmware:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/62090/G928FXXS2AOK9_G928FTEF2AOJ1_O2U/
The setup screen defaulted to German but I changed it to UK English and everything was fine until then BUT, after encrypting my device, the password screen has german language. How do I change this?

HTC Prophet's Regional Settings

After I installed an application to enable Thai language supported on my Dopod818pro called Thai-G. It will automatically set regional as Thai everytime I do soft reset. I prefer to use regional as US. Therefore, everytime I do soft reset, i have to go to setting >regional setting> and change from Thai to US.
I have tried looking in Thai-G manual but they didn't mention this.
Is there anyway to set regional permanently?
(This happens to all fw I used ie. official dopod fw, Pdamobiz 2.3 and 3.2)
Im currently using Pdamobiz 2.3 fw with 2.20 radio rom. It rocks !!
Thanks very much and apologize for any English errors

New Hero - Languages?

Hi guys, I just got my Hero and turned it on to make sure everything was ok.
Apparently, the phone came from Poland/Romania because those were the languages that I first saw. I selected English (Poland) as the language so that I can read what's going on.
Will this affect the dictionary for predictive typing at all?
If I install MoDaCo's ROM, will it default to English everything?
Thanks everyone!

Kies JFF Upgrade advice please!

Hello all,
I am new to android and have been reading quite a bit of this forum to catch up!
I need some advice.
I bought Galaxy S from an e-shop in greece back in July which specifically said greek version. And true to its word it did have the greek language and swype keyboard installed but when the phone booted up it was in SpanisH (after a while I managed to change it to english).
I have a PDA version of XWJFB and phone and CSC version of XXJF5
because the PDAand phone version is not the same kies says that I cannot upgrade this version. HOWEVER, when I use kies in test mode it says that I can update to PDA:JFF/PHONE JF5. Is it safe to upgrade? Will I loose the greek swype and language or something...
Thanks in advace,
Chryssa

[Q] Trophy ROM and available keyboard languages

I have a Trophy which has received the Nodo update via Zune. It is a SIM-free version, so has no carrier branding. Since I have had the phone, I have been unable to select UK English as a keyboard language - I have German, Italian, Spanish, the three French choices and English (US), but no English (UK). This causes problems with auto-correct and spelling.
I am wondering if this can be fixed by flashing an appropriate ROM. At present I have 1.20.401.00 (FW 2250.09.12000.401). Previously I had flashed the 7389 HTC Europe ROM - that did not enable any additional languages.
Incidentally, I did raise this as a fault with HTC - their response was to return the phone for service but they could not confirm whether this was a general fault or even if returning the phone would mean I would get it back fixed. As it would mean days without a phone I didn't bother to take up their offer because they couldn't guarantee me a fix.

Flashed S8500XXJL2 problem

I have just flashrd my wave with the XXJL2 firmware from here and now have a problem, I have all German widgets in the widget tray, I am in the UK, and when I do a reset German is the main language, Is there another firmware that I can use that doesn't have German as the main language, I have looked at other firmware packs but they don't have a bootloader file, can anyone please help me with this as I just don't know what to do Thank you................
You wouldn't need to flash a new firmware just go to Settings > General > Display Language and select English and you'll be all set.
I have done that but I have not got many widgets and there are only a few in english the others are German and they haven't changed after I changed the language ...
