Has anyone had any luck tweaking the gammas using kernal adiutor or similar with either the stock kernel or one of the others ?

Hi, new user here so I can't actually post this into the franco kernel thread, but is anyone else not able to change the governer on franco r97 (nexus 4) to anything other than conservative? I'm on bigxie's unofficial PUB build 5 and using trickster mod.

Give Franco Kernel a shot; Carbon should also have that option or just about any. I believe Trickster Mod has its own App to, which would work well for that specific kernel.
Is there any apps that can control the kernel? For example, the faux clock app or the franco kernel control app.
On the other hand, can I use fauxclock app / franco kernel app, to control kernel other than faux/franco kernel? As some of the kernel doesn't provide a specific controlling app. Is there any apps that ae universal, which can control all kinds of kernel? As I am a noobs, I don't know how to dig into the codes.

Trickster Mod is a great kernel control app!
Yeah, Trickster will let you control most aspects of custom kernels. Each kernel may have unique features that Trickster can't control, where you'll have to use a specific kernel app. But for trying different kernels and find what suits you best, Trickster is definitely the way to go.

Instead of Faux and franco kernel, is there any kernel that comes with a specific kernel controlling app?

I seem to remember that Semaphore by stratosk has its own app, as does Trinity from morphic - those are the ones I can think of right now...
Franco has its own application which allows customization of the kernel and also downloading of latest nightly or stable version.
It's the Franco kernel updater.

Its strongly needed to flash a kernel cleaner before flashing a new kernel ? like we did on the s3? or not?
-Is there any kernel apart from perseus that allows me to overclock ? and also add more color saturation?
already tested adams kernel but it seems like it only alows to undervolt and there is not even a gpu tab.

1 No. Wipe dalvik and cahce before flashing a new kernel. Nothing else.
2 Just about all of them.
3 You'll have to research different kernel features yourself for this.
I'm new to kernel development. I tried to compile from MiraGe kernel sources and it compiled without errors, Booting fine. I want to add faux sound control and Franco's gamma control into the kernel. What should i do to add them ?? What commits should i cherry pick ??
I checked faux and franco's github and cannot understand where to look. Can anyone help me

hey did you find info on this? i am also trying to make a kernel with faux sound and fast charge support but i cant find nothing,
I've been trying out different kernel/ROM combinations (PN + ElementalX, Chroma + Franco) and now I'm going to try Kylo kernel and Ubermallow.
My question is about kernel managers. I bought the Franco kernel manager and the ElementalX kernel manager. Can I use those for Kylo? Would you recommend another manager? I downloaded Kernel Auditor.
One thing I really like about ElementalX kernel manager is the ability to change the Governor profile (I used GhostPepper for a while). I'm wondering if the EX Kernel manager can be used for ALL kernels? Is there a way to change governor profiles for Franco kernel manager?

EX Kernel Manager can be used for any kernel.
