Previously on htc m8 and it's possible. Any idea if there's any xposed module to set this up?
Thanks.

Is there a way to make the camera button be used to turn the screen on instead of the camera? To turn the screen on, I find it a burden to use the button that is recessed on the side. I would like to use the camera button instead because it is easier to press.
You can press camera + volume up to turn the screen on.

I use a program called 'no lock' with the intention of disabling the lock screen. This program also has made it so that the camera button (and the volume buttons) turn on the screen.

I tried it and liked it because of the easy wake up which allows any hardware button to turn on the screen. However, it only works sometimes(any hardware button to turn on the screen...not unlock but just turn on the screen). Is there some kind of logic I am not seeing or something I am not doing right?
So on my Nexus 7 I have the app "WidgetLocker" installed and there's an option to wake up the device with the volume buttons but it doesn't work. Even with my Nexus 7 rooted and root helper on in Widgetlocker it doesn't work. Anyone know of a method to turn the screen on without the power button (I've gotten this fear of it not working since my Nexus One was victim to the infamous broken power button). No suggestions on magnet wake up please! Thanks.

it works perfectly on my nexus s and galaxy nexus. but strangely, it works 5 out of 7 times on my nexus 7
I use Wake Up Screen. I shake the device to start it. The number of shakes and the intensity are customizable. I also use a shaking app to turn off.

I used to have a mod via Xposed that disabled the power and volume buttons when the screen was locked so I didn't accidently turn on my phone when its in my pocket. I cant remember what it was called and have searched but cant find it. I seem to think it was Nottach but I have tried to install that and it just crashes my phone.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks
Is there a way to activate the Flash light while screen is off? Like maybe set the Volume + Or Volume - or even the Power button to activate it by shot/Long press?

You can do that with G2 TweaksBox just look in that thread . BTW you must be rooted.
Was just wondering, is it even possible to modify the behavior of the power/volume buttons? It's a bit sensitive and imo placed in an odd spot.
It would be great if there was a way to modify it such as :
power button - either disable it, x clicks to turn screen on/off or a long press to turn on/off with a longer press to power down... just examples
volume rocker - disable
Thanks
