I have a EUR model so I will have to wait. But is the bug that the LG G3 had since the update to Lollipop solved? The bug where the screen goes on every 10 seconds after the battery is fully loaded using a wireless pad? Since the update to lollipop I cant use wireless charging anymore since this is a very anoying bug.
Wouldn't know. This is my first time on Lollipop.

I just updated my D855 SEA model with the latest OTA, did a fully wipe and started fresh. Charged it last night on the wireless charge pad and no such issue.
Cheers
Thanks, @cheetah2k

If this V20B SEA an older version than the current V20E?
I believe so, @twosix but the thing is, it doesn't have much bloat, IMHO.

My SEA/20b version has intermittent weirdness with wireless charging. It often wakes in the night to say its charging slowly. I'm using an LG WCP-700 charging pad.
Guys, for some reason I feel that 20b is better than 20e (had that before the official launch of lollipop for SEA).
after updating via pc suite and checking for another update, it shows two upgrades available with version that is still v20b.
can someone please let me know if they have successfully upgraded their phone with both upgrades?
thanks.

well that didnt go well, it was a two part update to 20b, after the first part installed it got stuck in a boot loop and then second part installed still in boot loop, after install finished it just kept boot looping, i had to put it in recovery mode and do a factory reset, that worked but it loaded up with 10k 4.4.2 kitkat, so pluged it back in and ive just updated back to 20b, think ill leave it there unless somebody wants to try it

Same thing happened to me, except i think i only got the boot loop after the second update.
Did you happen to catch the firmware file name of the second update?

in the box on the screen on the second update it was already showing 10 k 4.4.2, i can only think that the first part of the update rolled it back to kit kat
Reporting after update
Update sucks, a bit laggy, and usage bumped up from 14% to 20% in smart cleaning. And there's really no need for T-action, though quick remote did get its very much needed upgrade.
I think this has some added bloatware to it, guest mode is gone (i mean half-a$$ed), quick memo+ does not activate when pressing its icon from the integrated home button, but I did discover a way to use it.
First, open the quick memo icon (green), close it, then press the shortcut on the home tray, now it works!
does anyone of you know what's the difference between the brightness slider on notification widget having C on it and without C? I cannot understand what's the difference, it seems the same for me.
I've been chatting with Samsung Support through Twitter about Kies not taking my serial # for my Note 4. They asked for my serial # and my imei #, so I gave it to them and they asked what version i was on and told them BOK3, they wrote back saying there is a newer version, so I asked which one is it. So here is a screenshot.

Safe Upgrade N910VVRU2BPA1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=65278655
Update: if your battery takes a dump with the OTA, it is recommend that you do a repair via the Verizon assistant or via Kies. But if you are on a safe upgrade version then this will take you out of safe upgrade and keep you on BOG5 incremented bootloader.
Maybe a new Samsung version, but maybe not a Verizon version?

Here are the screenshots.
They responded back that it is 5.1.1 with security patches
So Samsung says there is another version they have out. But has Verizon released it yet? The manufacturer releases versions to the carriers who then release it to the phone owners after they do their "branding". Case in point, Samsung released 6.0.1 for the Note 4, but we don't have it yet. So

Hopefully it fixes my battery life problem, after the 5.1.1 update my battery life is TERRIBLE. It is the worse it has ever been and that's with trying to different factory OEM batteries.......The Note 4 really was a disappointment for a phone with such awesome hardware...
If anybody able to pull OTA and link it, I would put in the OP, I have it downloaded, but not installed. If anybody can guide me to pull it, I would appreciate it
Interesting

Yes, so glad the wifi notification is gone!
Please if someone could capture... it will be awesome, sammobile still not post 5.1.1, so it would be almost a year until they put BPA1 available, the only way i installed 5.1.1 was from a zip file someone upload it

Hi,i was wondering how you go about installing 5.1.1 zip. Well my question is ,are you using a retailer edition and what recovery you went into flash?,is it stock recovery if you're using RE?,am just little confuse about it.Thank you in advance.

Its quite simple indeed just download the zip file from the forum 5.1.1 then save it in ur sd card, press up volume, power and home button at the same time to access stock recovery, navigate to option where is says update from a file, there you go it will update to 5.1.1, batter been slightly different (not a big improvement) im indeed a very very heavy user.... i received emails all day from my job, need to check whatsapp several times, there is some annoyances however... like wifi notification that is connected never go away... the wireless and fast charging notification remain in 5.0.1 now in 5.1.1 just says it once time and disappear, album cover full screen its completly gone.... performance in task screen and some apps display faster and also navigate throught touchwiz its a little bit better... not a BIG BIG difference... they put connect to at&t network (even thou its verizon), everything its fixed in BPA1 update so if you want to give a shot go ahead... i mean its not a big big diference but if you are bored of being in 4.4.4 or 5.0.1 go ahead! good luck
This may need to go devs but notice every time you boot into recovery on this update it says "installing update". Not sure exactly what that means cause I am no dev but it seems like the the recovery is more locked down on this update.
I also did factory reset after update. So not sure why it would do that every time booting into recovery.
for last week battery been dropping fairly quickly to about 40%, then stopping abruptly. Got the update last night. After almost 12 hours on battery, it is still at 88%.
My battery wasn't doing very well until I disabled fast charging and charged regularly. But have always noticed that even on kitkat

BTW, any other improvements/changes in this update? I haven't got the OTA yet.

My phone's battery is draining a lot after this update. I'm barely getting a SOT of 4-5 hours while i used to get 8 hours(on an average) on MIUI 8.0.1.0. Any help? I've already done a factory reset after updating

Same here. Factory Reset won't help. Because it's an issue in the update itself.
I had no issues with VoLTE was working in previous versions and is working now...
But now I am facing a strange bug, sometimes when I try calling through Jio the call doesn't go through and it screws up my mic and speaker somehow..I am unable to hear anything.. everytime i have to restart to make them functional..
Occurs randomly..

Do factory reset and try to update again.. make sure your device is not rooted..
Due to the previous update my phone was not able to start and was stucked in black screen loop. I just got my phone repair today replacing the board so some body please tell should I upgrade it to
ZUI 2.5.104 ? Is it safe to do so??
i cannot update from 2.5.099 why :'(
Found a minor issue with rotation sensor. It dosent work sometimes. I have to restart the device to work with it. Solv it soon.
AnTuTu and Geekbench scores have gone very low in this ROM. Why is this happening? I thought the update solved heating issue but this ROM throttles down the processor speed to overcome heating issue which in turn decreases the score in these apps. I personally would not like to loose speed for lesser temperature values.
Have received the OTA 2.5.104 ST, downloaded it, phone rebooted and started installing but it failed. Have tried it 3 times now and still the same issue. I am not rooted or have the bootloader unlocked. I am on indian ROM.

Updated
Got update to 7.0 downloaded and installed working fine:good:
has the camera performance improved in the new update?
I'm quite confused whether to get this or honor 6x. My main criteria is amazing battery life ( >= 6hr sot) and a good camera for videos.
Just installed the update (nougat) and took antutu benchmark on 3Gb model, scored 130K
After upgrading to ZUI 2.5 (Indian version) lot of issue are coming,
- VoLTE stopped supporting
- Manage Account & Sync option in setting not working so unable to delete any account(like gmail account) and unable to sync up my account with mobile app data.
- Heating Issue increased
- Slower response while playing games
ZUI 2.0 was much better than ZUI 2.5. How can I take bake up of all my mobile app data since sync is not working? Also how can i revert this installation to ZUI 2.0.
Can anyone tell me how to catch cats in latest official Nougat? I have played this easter egg in stock android but cannot find the dish tile in ZUI.
How do people on 2.5.099 beta got to 2.5.104.

Greetings everyone,
I have been using a G4 Plus (indian retail unit) since 2017 and was on Nougat for years now. The phone never got Oreo for me. I tried using this trick from the thread to successfully upgrade to Oreo. Now, ever since the upgrade, I haven't had any issues apart from the battery. On Nougat, I used to get atleast 4.5 hours on screen time and 5 at max usage. I'm a moderate user. I charge the phone early in the morning. Now, it has been reduced to 3 hours 42 minutes on an average. I have my GPS Turned off, Screen Brightness and everything related adjusted. And the figures above are without battery saver. I don't want to downgrade as I like the Oreo UI and fluidity of the OS. The phone heats up at points when CPU usage is a bit high. Not a huge issue for me though. Anything I can do fix the battery life?

If you have upgraded with method 2 you most likely upgraded the bootloader too hence downgrading to nougat and downgrading the bootloader bricks your device. If you don't downgrade the bootloader it should work correct @echo92?
