Camera problem Galaxy 6 Edge is making noise in Focus - Galaxy S6 Edge+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I bought a new Edge Galaxy 6 .
After a month I turn on the camera and it makes a noise she gets focus.
I did reset all the machine but the problem still exists
What can be done whether Samsung will have new cell phones ?
Is Samsung will replace me and I get a new phone?

I have the same problem too?

If i understood correctly you are concerned about noise when auto focusing? If so, there's a motor inside the phone that moves the lenses so they can focus and can usually be heard if the phone is close to your ear or the ambient noise is low. If it's not REALLY loud and there are no problems with auto focusing itself I would say that is completely normal.

Interesting microphone discovery!

I got some moisture in my A500 while putting a screen cover on it and the unit was misbehaving. I have that cleared up now (hopefully), but noticed something about the microphone. It was partially covered by a tag from one of the wiring looms! I don't know if moving this tag out of the way will improve the microphone, but it sure as heck aint going to hurt it! Since the microphone points away from you as you hold the tablet, I'm not sure it's ever going to pick up your voice properly.

update: I put my a500 back together, but forgot I had the sd card still in there. The end result was that I cracked the sd card which renders it useless. I'll have to buy another one now. The microphone recording volume is still quite low, no improvement there. I think it's a design oversight and any tablet should probably have front and rear facing microphones. Only use the one facing away for video recording, othewise use the one facing the user.
Did you try turning the mic over? Maybe they made two mistakes. Putting the mic in wrong and then covering it with the tag
The A500 has a 2 microphones array, for noise canceling effect.
The microphone you put the tag label away from is the noise canceling one, the main microphone is just at the left of that one and its facing front. As you put away that tag you may have an improvement on the noise canceling effect, if you try to turn over the mic it will not harm the device but I'm pretty sure it will not help noise canceling.
Holding the A500 landscape and dock port down, the gap of the front facing mic is between the screen glass and the upper frame, is just right in the middle, it is hard to see but can be seen from certain angles and light conditions.
Also you provided the proof that I'm not writing nonsenses, in the first picture attached, there are those two alike connectors, both have plugged microphones, and they have the same tag flap with the same codes and digits imprinted. If you look closely you can see the edge of the front facing mic, it's at the left of the back facing mic and it's almost covered by the circuit board where both microphones connectors are.
I as well had taken my tablet apart due tons issue with video cable loose.and noticed exactly where the mice are at. Thinking about going tobeadeo shak or order from black box better mic to out in.I have done this on laptop before

I did a few recordings to test the noise canceling array, and be able to notice the noise canceling effect when recording video with front facing camera, when recording with back facing camera, I notice no noise canceling, the recording level is a little low, but was ok, I'm not sure if this feature is binded to which camera the user is using during record, also I have no professional equipment or applications to make sure that the noise canceling effect/feature was working or not.
I agree that this kind of double microphone array should be a lot more user friendly, letting a user decide to use both microphones, or using only one and which one, or turn on or off noise canceling, or any other feature as the recording level, will not harm anyone. And having the device defaults to record using front facing camera with front mic and noise canceling, and when using back facing camera with back mic, without noise canceling, will work as most users wanted it to work.
The microphone on my third A500 is working great so far. I returned the second one today because the microphone audio was very low. It's still running 3.01 stock because the 3.01 OTA update isn't available yet for my unit.

[Q] Camera Questions

I noticed the ticking sound of the auto focus today while using the camera, just wanted to know if it is supposed to be that loud or if I have a problem?
Also, I'm not a camera expert but I noticed that for any close up pictures, the phone has to be at least a good 2/3 inches away from the object to focus on it properly, otherwise the picture just comes out blurry. Is this normal for every camera?
Well I don't know what you mean with "that loud" but I can also hear mine, so I don't think you have a problem.
I remember my S3 also had problem focussing on close range, guess it's normal. Your eye can't focus on anything closer than 7cm (about 3 inch?) either.

Nothing surprises me anymore regarding this phone.
I think that they screwed everything with the "mighty" waterproofing.... microphones, speaker, earspeaker etc everything is too f***g low and muffled
Really huge disappointments gathering more and more each day.....

Yup I think it definitely has to do with the waterproofing.... We do have three S7 edges in our house and mine shows lower when recording voice memos than the other 2
Many people have issues with microphone after latest update to Android 6.0.1 - in the past, similar problems were solved by turning off noise reduction feature, but with this update the option has been removed from settings and the result is poor quality of voice.
With latest Android 5 it worked without problems (on waterproof Xperia Z2).
My microphones works great, but the loudspeaker is much quieter than on my Note 4. Anyone else with this issue?
I compared my S7 (935FD, stock, rooted, Xposed) side by side to my S6 (stock, no root), playing the same youtube video at the same time, both at maximum speaker volume...
The S6 is slightly louder than the S7 - it is noticeable but not significant.

Clicking noise from camera

So guys i just bought the handset today.
Everything was running smooth until i turned on the manual mode and started focussing manually, a clicking noise came from the camera everytime i change the focuss.
A little bit of noise is also there even when using auto mode.
I wanted to know if this issue is with everyone or it's just with mine.
Same problem here, like a shutter sound every time i switch from front camera to rear.
Have you try something to fix it? i haven't this problem on nougat.

camera making hissing sound op5

when ever I open camera in my one plus 5,it makes a hissing noise, like some fan starts rotating inside the phone.
it doesnot happen for the front camera,it only happens if i open the back camera
does anyone have the same issue?
previously I did not have this problem.
Is this a software issue?or a hardware issue?
I can hear the noise,if I place my ear to the back of the phone.
Is it due to autofocus of the camera??
It's called coil whine and I've noticed it too just yesterday after a long call. My suggestion is to RMA the device. Although it's not a serious issue, so idk how they will handle it.
