hey guys im on currently on lollirock rom and i like the tablet mode on my tv but is there a way to switch between leanback an tablet?
maybe a leanback.apk or something or an other rom which supports this feature?
Lollirock uses Google Apps for standard android version, so you can't use leanback apps.
To use leanback you should use purenexus rom.

I just moved from an SGSIII to the Nexus 5 and I miss the menu button, is there a softkey mod to get extra keys, like menu and search (ideally just menu)?
I see its with some custom roms but I want to avoid those, I am rooted and unlocked just would prefer to avoid custom recovery and/or roms.
Thanks!
Make root and install xposed with gravitybox(kk) module....you can resize add button to navbar, add tile on quick settings...and more & more

Not only did you answer the question, but the other/hidden settings question I did not ask was answered too.
Thanks very much!
Good morning. for all those who had a galaxy note 2, you must know the UI mod xperiacle SWITCHER ... a mod that allowed switch between mods phablet, tablet, phone. with floating windows mod phablet and tablet ... anyone know if xperiacle might help someone to create this super cool mod for galaxy note 3? anyone here feels able to do so? thank you to all
Definitely interested as well. This was awesome on my Note 2.

Certainly you is your switch you not let go until you have :silly:
yeaaaah boss:silly:
then, no?
:crying:
I've been thinking about this as well.
It would be awsome if you could automate it so it changes dpi and ui when you connect MHL adapter to external screen.
Yes. ui switcher is really the best mod on galaxy note 2.

it works... I had to modify system ui to enable nav bar (not included by default)
tablet mode doesn't works because needed other modifications to include tablet resources
edit: Can you add your module in xposed repository?

this is nice ... but not really tablet or phablet. mod phablet with floating windows was really nice

Hi there,
how can I install the original Note 4 Camera to my Note 4?
I've searched the web a lot, but did not find a solution.
I even tried to back it up with Titanium- did not work.
I've also tried to extract it from a Nandroid Backup.
Any ideas for me, please?
Always the same question, and the answer is always the same: it is not possible unless you port various parts of the system from Touchwiz to the AOSP ROM.
No one achieved that so...

thanks for your quick reply!
I want to add a custom tile/setting to Quick Settings bar, I also tried app "Custom quick settings" from app store, but wasn't useful. Looks like Samsung has blocked adding custom quick settings in stock rom.
Does anyone know how to achieve this without rooting or custom ROM?
You could try Good Lock in the Samsung store, though it changes a lot of things.

Should be launcher related, so i think inside something like /data/data/com.nameofthe.launcher/

I extracted them some months ago. Here's the thread -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/themes-apps/stock-wallpapers-notifications-t3400281
I extracted them from framework-res.apk OR the launcher apk. Not sure. Currently not on a stock rom. So If you want to know the exact source, attach "framework-res.apk" + the launcher apk. I'll decompile them & find out.
