Hi everybody. i recently flashed a stock rom to revert a soft brick. i flashed a 32gb rom but actually the phone shows it right,with 32gb of storage but 25gb being of system files. obviously it isnt so,because previously i could use all of it. any way to fix this issue?

edit: now seems like my phone thinks it is 16gb any idea how to fix it?

Hello members.
I just found a strange issue that I have started facing lately whenever I try to flash a custom ROM on my Defy.
Current stock ROM was 2.2.2
I rooted it and tried This ROM. After flashing I realized that the ROM is slowly slowly eating up my space on my sd card. I checked my sd and it showed an ANDROID folder with all app backed up.
I tried playing with the Install location in Cynogenmod settings but still no help.
Tried Internal, Auto , External options but still nothing
Then I changed the ROM to 2.3.7 posted by Quarx hoping it would solve my issue but I had same issue again.
Please tell me what do I do ?
I want to use custom ROMs real bad :3

at some point install a ROM to test, the problem I espacion decreased the storage on the device.
I try going back to the stock ROM via Oldin, did not work.
Anyone know any way to get back to the stock ROM and recover the lost space?

Hello.I have an N900. I have rooted the phone.I don't know why but for some reason the samsung keyboard keeps giving me force close (unfortunately samsung keyboard has stopped) and not working. and the strange thing is that I can't use touch buttons except the physical home key. that buttons (menu and back keys) are working.I mean when I touch them the key light turning on,but no action. for example when I touch back key, the key key lights up,but in screen, it doesn't go back. I hope you understand my question and my problem.
my phone: PDA:MK2/PHONE:MK1/CSC:MJ3(EGY)
I think this problems can be solved somehow. I can't and I don't want to change this stock rom. can anyone help me ASAP? please?:crying:
Can you re flash and wipe the phone? Sounds like a dirty install of the rom itself

NO.I didn't flash the rom.it's the stock rom since I bought the phone. I used OTA that it updated to MK2. I did even use factory reset but no use! the samsung keyboard still gives me error. I installed another keyboard (google keyboard) and it seems that the problem has gone. but I want to solve the samsung keyboard problem. if there was a flashable samsung keyboard for this base, that would be great! also another question: can someone tell me how can I solve another strange problem? I flashed custom recovery with odin, but in recovery,it can't mount and recognize external memory card! the memory card hasn't any problem in the rom, the problem only exist in recovery!

Re-download the rom from sammobile and reflash it.

first, I've spend an hour used the search but could not find anything related.
I've got a S4 32GB version. Modelnumber says "GT-I9505". It's a german version from amazon, not from a provider, if thats informational..
I feel my accu power melting away. Tried almost anything but factory reset.. bought a new accu, disabled most of the features, removed apps, disable sync and still lasts only 20-24 hours. I don't poweruse the device. Maybe a call per day, a bit whatsapp, twitter, gmail and a bit browsing.
My girlfriend has also a S4 with 16GB version. Her device last around 70-72 hours. She plays a bit, whatapps and some calls.
Thats why I decided to root+flash my device. Never did this before, so I'm a bit anxious. Got a Galaxy Nexus before and was very happy with it. So I've read some tut's, watched some vid's but I did not find anything regarding a 32GB version. Are there any troubles using Odin and a rom like "Pure Nexus Edition build" from Danvdh?
I'm also not really sure which stuff to use. Right now I downloaded Odin 3.07 (I know 3.09 is out there) and openrecovery-twrp-2.7.1.0-jfltexx.tar. Is this a compatible version or are there no differences between 16gb and 32gb S4 versions?

no answers so far in this thread, but I got a reply from Danvdh who said that there is no difference -> I tried it. No risk no fun.
It works without any problems. I only have some problem with my SD card which can't be formatted and WatchOn does not work. But this shouldn't be related to the 16/32GB question. So if anyone has the same concerns I think you're good to go..

Formatting your sd card should be possible from the recovery. If Watchon doesn't work then it's probably a problem in the rom itself.

Thanks for your reply. I don't know what happend but I think my SD card is bricked. I tried serveral possibilities within windows but nothing worked. The data is still there. So I tried your advice to use the recovery mode, but this still didn't work. Data still on SD card. Very strange. Also my PlayMusic App still has some music cached which is still there after I removed the data/reinstalled the app. Playback stop with error message
I have an LG G2 802 32GB internacional. After the flash stock rom lolipop service dealers else is just 8GB of memory a system has taken 20GB. I do not understand how it happened and how to restore the normal relationship. I tried installing Cloudy V3.3 or system still holds 20GB, I had such a problem and how to solve it?
