Going to need more details mate like what fw you are on and what you want to be on?
Anyways can you not flash a new firmware via odin then flash the matching kernel?
I'm going to buy a i9505 via three and its HTS firmware. Can I flash NEE firmware without tripping Knox or e-fuse? I don't want to root it right now, just have it without threes menus and logos...

Hey I wanted to install the nougat firmware on my s7 edge. I got the phone from Australia on a plan from vodafone. I have already downloaded firmware from a mega link, i was wondering if someone can give me a quick run through on where each file goes and after the firmware installs does it trip knox and will i get OTA updates

Follow these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-...word-links-t3497078/post69558512#post69558512
Though you should download the latest version of Odin, 3.12.3.
And no, it won't trip Knox. OTA updates, no one knows yet. The beta will only last a few months anyway until they release it.
So i have to flash all 4 files with odin and if i wanted to go back to my stock vodafone firmware i would just flash it with odin again.

Click to collapse
If you have carrier I think the best way is to keep your CSC.
Import three files AP, BL and CP into odin and add original CSC (don't flash the csc from nougat)
Thats what i did, i restarted a few times and it seemed to fix it now i just gotta fix the battery drain

I have a 900V still running rooted KitKat. I decide to upgrade to MM and lose the root. There are 3 stock firmware on Samsung-Firmware.org. DO I Odin them one by one (from PD1 -> PF4 -> PG2) or just the most recent version (PG2) alone? All of them are tar.md5 files. Thank you in advance!
Use Samsung kies 3 it will update your phone to latest firmware pg2 for you

I'm rooted on BOK3_ODEX_DEODEX_V2 does kies 3 work for that too or do I odin the G900VVRU2BOK3_G900VVZW2BOK3_G900VVRU2BOK3_HOME.tar.md5
trading in on S7
Thanks
Samsung kies 3 doesn't work on rooted phones so flash ok3 firmware first
