Well, I just started a thread about this issue a few days ago:

Thing is, Android has an AGC (Auto-Gain Control) which is enabled all the time. That is the cause for the distorted and unclear recordings from the microphone.
I hope someone will add a feature in the ROM's settings to disable AGC when needed.

After i installed the rom, I've found that when I listen to music and the volume is at max level, the sound is at bad quality, having distortion.
I tried tweaking the sound with ViperFX, and same problem.
I even installed the googymax kernel to reduce some sound gain, and even when that is under default, the distortion is present.
I would apreciate if you could help me with this problem! Have a nice day.
Hello Devs. i am using Acer M220 Powered by huawei.. It has very low sound quality on earphones and low volume .. if there any sound mod or sound tweak or any kernal for M220 to increase volume....

how can i increase earpiece volume in in-call sound , i searched over topics and found that it can be done using mixer_paths.xml but i cant find any values in mixer_paths.xml to be increased
few weeks ago , noticed that earpiece speaker ( speaker which is used to hear in calls ) volume become very low in calls suddenly ! although at test code menu ( *#0*#) seems normal , and i have to tick extra volume option at calls on to hear calls .
can it be a software issue ? or can it force system to increase sound of earpiece speaker
