LG G2 cannot make/receive calls - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
I have a problem with my G2 d802 and i hope i can find some help here. A few days ago, my phone stoped receiving/making calls, or send/receive sms.
If i don't have full signal, i cannot call, sms, nothing. If i have full signal i can make call sometimes(depends if i find a stop where the signal is very strong). Data connection is not working at all.
This happened all of a sudden, i was using it normaly, and just stoped working. No water contact, drop or something like that.
I had stock firmware, then updated to lollipop using samsung updater tool. After call problems i tried reverting to 4.4, updating to 5.0 again, but no help.
I should mentiont that i never had custom firmware on it.
Can someone help me with some tips for fixing it?
Thanks.

Cyanogenmod - cannot phone my phone, no SMS alerts...

Hi Everyone, I have searched for an answer to my problem but cannot find anything.
I have upgraded my G1 to Cyanogen, and everything works fine except I get no notifications to text messages, they just arrive, with nothing to tell me they have arrived.
Another problem is when I call my phone, it rings once and then gives an engaged tone. There is nothing coming up on the phone to say I have a call, however it does put the call in my missed call list...
I have checked GSM call settings but all forwarding is disabled.
I have just upgraded to the latest cyanogenmod with the updater software, however I still have the same problem.
Another thing that doesnt seem to work is the home button, and camera button, and the phone no longer locks.
I am at a loss for what to try, apart from trying to flash the phone back to its original state.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
When you did the update did you wipe first? You can fix your problem, but you need to wipe your phone. So wipe, then reaaply the update. This does happen to people from time to time, and I've yet to see the direct cause or solution. A possibility is something in the dalvik-cache.

HD2 Connection issues

Hey guys.
I have some issues with my HD2. I can't make calls, it just hangs up after 2 sec.
I can't recieve calls. I sometimes get a text with a notification, that someone tried to call me, but not always.
I can get on 3g, but I can't access the web. I am, however, able to send and recieve texts.
I've tried everything, resets, re-installing to an older HTC ROM, fiddled with various settings. Nothing seems to work. And it just started behaving like this all of a sudden..
The phone has been rooted with android for months, working great. But to isolate this part, as a possible reason for the phone not working, I've completly un-rooted it again, but still no progress..
Also, the phone doesn't work with any SIM-card, and my own SIM-card works fine in my old phone. So I suspect it to be hardware-related.. Although it just happened all of a sudden.
I've also spoken to HTC customer-service, but they have never heard of the issue..
Any help is greatly appriciated..

[Q] Signal issue of my Nexus 4

I'm using a Nexus 4 and I'm struggling with an insane issue. if I keep my mobile phone without using for about 2,3 hours when data or WiFi turned on, the phone is loosing signal completely and nothing can bring the signal back again except restarting the phone. Please help me to resolve this problem.
Thanks
What did you do so far? Have you done anything that could have caused this issue?
Flash your latest radio or do a factory reset and look what happes afterwards.

Once I did factory reset from the settings menu and nothing more.
Android version : 4.4.4
build number : KTU84P
can you please tell me how to install stock android again on to my mobile. please send me a proper guide if possible.
Thanks
Now I suggest you to do a factory reset again, since I am sure you havent root your phone or anything like that?
And what do you mean by 'loosing your signal'? When you turn your wifi on your mobile data will be shut off, but you still can receive calls and sms.

Yes I haven't done anything serious to the phone. the problem is once I kept my phone without using for about 2,3 hours with WiFi or MOBILE DATA switched on, the phone goes to the mode "Emergency calls only". that means I'm not receiving any calls or sms and I cannot take calls or send sms.
Anyways I have to reboot the phone to get the phone back alive. all the other functions are working properly when it happens. I think now you got the point?
Thanks

What is your radio version? You can see that in the "settings/about" section.
Android brought out a new radio with 4.4.4
It would be best to flash that, if you haven't already done so. You can find the latest radio version in the "Mako Modem collection", in this same forum. You can see the latest version in my signature.

I get you now.
But still this issue is strange since you havent flash or root or anything. What about your sim card? Already tried another one?

[Q] unfortunately, the process com.sec.ims.android has stopped

Hey guys, my wife has a stock Note 3 and every so often this prompt will pop up "unfortunately, the process com.sec.ims.android has stopped" If I hit ok, it will go away for about half a second and then pop up again. I can restart the phone sometimes or have to pull the battery and it won't happen again for about a week, but this is a problem that I need to resolve and I know someone in here has the know-how. I've looked all over the place on the internet, and on this forum but no one else has experienced the same thing, I'm puzzled. Please help, thank you.

Go into settings>General>app manager>All> find contacts and open it then clear cache. If that doesnt help. Clear cache and data. Fixed it for me.

Same thing started happening to me on Friday 11/21/2014 morning.
I've tried:
Clearing cache and data in contacts.
Restarting the phone.
Reset the phone to factory default.
Wipe cache.
In some situations it will work for a call or two and then the same error message again.
Thank You

yea i am curently experiencing the same problem
I tried the same thing and it works as long as i dont restart the phoen. Then it starts all over again. Very frustrating. Does anyone know if what this process does or if you can disable or uninstall this? Maybe thathat would work, as long as it is not something you really need ofcourse. Thanks.
You can try the same thing using titanium back up. that helps sometimes. Just open Titanium backup. locate ur contacts and phone apk. click them and then click clear data. i havnt tried this method but its worth a try. maybe the next time i experience it i will try this as well.

I tried doing that already and same message appears when i restart phone. I was thinking of freezing the com.sec. Ims.android and all ims related using titanium, but wanted to see if anyone knows what these processes are used for.
Question??

I had the same problem and i went to the app manager>all and there I found the process that always crashes (com.sec.ims.service) and I forced to stop, and it's seems to have solved the problem by now

Phone don't make or receive any calls

Well, all of the sudden my phone stopped to make any calls, It dial like it should but there is no signal and after few seconds it drops, it will no receive any calls either. Viber, watsup, skype or callsfree works with no problems, I thing it is just the call app is corrupted or something. But even recovery did not help. Anybody have any suggestions?
