Unicon has lots of problems since Google updated the launcher, Use the latest Unicon Beta and wipe the launcher's data after you apply an icon pack using Unicon, then all the icons will apply.

Hello,
I have searched, read, searched more, read more, I can only guess my feeble attempts in searching is incorrect.
Two questions:
Can I use multiple icon packs simultaneously?
I currently use Nova launcher and have an icon pack I like, but, I would like to add additional ones, but, not to overwrite existing ones?
Can you install the png files manually?
I have not found a really good guide for this.
Any help you be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Not sure I understand your first question about using multiple packs simultaneously. Do you mean just have multiple packs installed with the option to apply different ones at will? If so, just install Xposed Framework and Icon Themer Module, install your icon packs as you normally would, and they will all be available to apply via Icon Themer and can go between them at will.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
The first question, I wish to use more than one icon pack at the same time, without each one clobbering the other.
I got the Xposed Icon Themer apk, as I already have the Xposed Framework install, and other Xposed modules.

If you use ADW Launcher, almost all of the icon packs for Apex, Nova, etc are compabitable with it.
Once you have more than one installed, when you double click an icon, click Edit on the little window that pops up, click on the picture of the icon, it will show you the selection of icon packs, click on the one you want to use for that specific icon, and then you can select any of the icons in the icon pack for that specific icon.
Not sure if that's what you meant by wanting to use multiple icon packs - it's what I do when I use ADW and a single icon pack doesn't cover all the icons. I just download a very similar icon pack and apply the main one to the whole phone and apply the other icons from the other icon packs individually to the icons that weren't covered by the original icon pack.

There is an app by xperiacle called Galaxy icon themer which allows you to apply icon packed on stock launcher. The pro version would let you have a "per app" control and set even ping file from gallery definitely worth to buy it. Not sure if you can find that icon pack but you can extract png files from Go launcher and apply for every app using this app.
I'm using the stock 4.4.2 TW ROM with the Google Now launcher. Other than using another launcher (which I don't want to do as I want the Google cards on the left most screen that comes with the Google Now launcher), how can I replace the standard Samsung TW very ugly phone dialer icon?
I've tried WizIconizer with an icon pack that is supposed to replace the OEM icons, but it doesn't work. Is there any other way to replace the standard TW icons for the phone dialer and camera?

I remember an app called icon visualiser or android visualiser which creates shortcuts with different icons.
Install Xposed framework. Then module Unicon. And of course you need to have some icon pack installed, like Stark or Click etc.

unicon changes all icons he just wants to have it on phone app.
Thanks guys, I've tried all the above suggestions and I can't seem to get any one of them to do something so simple...........................
@CayenneGTS
Icon changer free available on play store can do that for you.. but an icon will change just as the shortcut.

What the title says. I have nova launcher installed and none of the icons change after I apply a theme. In nova I selected "system" for the icon theme but that didn't help. The new theme icons appear only in the touchwiz launcher.
Anyone knows how I can have the new theme icons appear in nova?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using XDA-Developers mobile app
I don't think you can with Nova for some reason, any time I use a theme from galaxy theme park or Samsung theme store it only changes the edge panel icons and notification shade. I usually find an icon pack for Nova that goes good with theme and just go from there.
Btw some great free themes here

It doesn't work like that...
Samsung themes won't change the icons when using Nova Launcher - only stock Samsung Launcher.
In order to change your icons with Nova, you have to go into Google Play Store and download/purchase Nova Launcher compatible icons.
if it's for the home screen(s), you can use Icon Changer Free. That should still work with Nova. But as far as the app drawer, I dont really know what to tell you. You're probably stuck with Nova-specific themes
I am aware that this is an S7 forum, however, that is happening to me as well. I also have Nova Launcher but used the theme app within the Note 8 to just change the icons and everything went smooth, all icons have changed except for 1 icon. When I try to edit the icon to change it to system since it is essentially a system icon, it doesn't change at all and I am unable to just manually change the icon to what it should be because it is part of the system and not a separate icon pack. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and it is still the same thing. Any suggestions?
Sorry if my post shouldn't be here but when I googled about the situation, this forum came up. Please feel free to move it where it should be if necessary.
Update: I tried it again, but what I actually did was in the app drawer, I pulled the app search down, searched for the app, went to edit shortcut, clicked the icon and the icon shows up again, selected it and the system app automatically changed to the original system app.
Hey! Is it possible to apply an icon pack system wide? I'm running stock 7.1.1 NMF260 rooted.
Thanks!

Yes. Actually I never really thought of it in any other way. You can do it through your launcher settings or usually the icon pack itself has a way to apply it (left side, should be there).

I mean, for example if I was in settings and I went into my apps instead of seeing their default icons I would see the icons from my selected icon pack. So no matter where I was seeing the icon it would be the Icon pack's icon. Hope this helps.

In settings>apps specifically? No I dont think itll switch the icons there but it will change them all on your homescreen and in app drawer.
I use Action Launcher 3 and I can apply all from the launcher settings. Or like I said, open the icon pack itself and tap apply.

Yeah, but if it's only in your launcher it isn't system wide.

You need a custom launcher that supports icon packs. Android launcher doesn't provide native support for icon packs. Icons are applied system wide if you are using a custom launcher and make it your default homescreen instead of Android's launcher. However, most icon packs will be missing icons for at least some of your apps. Some icon packs attempt to theme those icons and others just leave the stock icon.

Your launcher is system wide. You need to make the custom launcher your default home instead of Android's launcher. The launcher changes your home screens and your app drawer.

There was a xposed module that allow you to do that, change icons system wide. I didn't tried it lately, but used to work fine.
It's called Unicon, by Faruq Rasid, search for it in the PlayStore.
Edit: You're on N, so no xposed for you, Sorry.
