LG L5 E610 Flash problem - Optimus L3, L5, L7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
Does anybody meet flash problem with LG L5 E610 phone?
I have one of this type. A few days ago every app started crashing.
I tried to remove some app but it appears again after reboot.
If I make a new file in the internal memory, it disapears after reboot.
I tried to re-flash the stock rom with KZD updater. It says everything is ok, but when the phone reboots I got the system same as before the flashing.
So nothing changes after I flash the stock rom, I got back my old system.
It looks like flash problem, but I've never met flash problem before this phone.
I have exactly the same problem like in this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-l3-l5-l7/help/lg-l5-e610-strange-issue-t3177536
Any idea to solve this problem?
Thanks.

Try make factory reset and after that you flash the Stock ROM in KDZ Updater.

I tried it, but I got back my old system.
The factory reset starts, but after a few(2-3 seconds) the reboots and I got back my old system.

you tried with stock recovery or cwm recovery?

Stock recovery. I used kdz updater to flash the original firmware to the phone.

Install CWM or TWRP. Look for a custom ROM and flash it.
You can try my ROM or try to official CM10.

NEED HELP X8 boot freeze !!!

Hi ppl, i need help i had gingexdx v020 rom on my x8, i tryied to install minicm rom from the cryogenmod on it with the recovery tool, i did a full wipe, when the phone did the reboot it got freezed with the sonyericsson white words on the display, on this moment i cannot reboot the phone or enter the recovery tool, the only thing it does is only it does is only showing those words, can anyone help plz, thankx.
Just reinstall the stock rom with pc Companion and start it all over again

Thankx man it worked,
You should unlock bootloader and install an custom kernel with cwm in it. in that way you prevent yourself from having to install all stuff over and over. Because you can always restore an older rom.

problem with phone using clockworkmod recovery!

went to clockworkmod recovery, i went install zip and choose my custom kernel. then when i reboot my phone, it cant start up and keeps showing the lg sign on the screen until my battery wents flat out. tried it a several times but still could not start up. Plz Help!!!

link for kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2254513
I think you need to flash the stock kernel, or format everything from Advanced on CWM to later flash a kdz
Enviado desde mi LG-E610 usando Tapatalk 4
Enter recovery and Reflash the rom you where using with the original kernel. If you cant charge the battery you can try this but will loose data on sdcard i think...
1 battery off
2 press vol down
3 connect to pc with volum down and realease after some seconds
4 flash kdz and start over.
It loop because u flahs a mod kernel on stock rom

if u install ROM V10K_00.kdz ROOTED after that u should do this:
• Wipe data / factory Reset, Wipe Cache, ADVANCED > Wipe Dalvik Cache
• Install zip from SD Card > First install: Stock_v10k_Rooted.zip > Yes, Next the WIFI Fix, and then Keyboard.
• Wipe data / factory Reset, Wipe Cache, ADVANCED > Wipe Dalvik Cache

[Q][L3][E400] SdMerge problem: can't wipe anything

Hi all,
i have a problem with sdmerge mod.
when i install a sdmerge rom, i can't wipe anything.
in recovery i see all wipe done succesfully (data, cache, dalvik), but when i reboot nothing happens: same background, same apps, same phone...
this problem seems to be related with originally branded mobile phones.
even if i install a no brand firmware and then a sdmerge rom, nothing changes: i can't wipe anything.
any ideas?
reflash other recovery for sdmerge. get recovery.img from step4

A little info for those stuck at 49% using LG Flash Tool

I just want to share my experience after a bad flash and no way to recover.
I was still able to get to TWRP. I had flashed a Rom and it went bad. Long story short. No Loki causing boot into fastboot screen.
Tried using flash tools to restore stock with kdz. No good kept stopping at 49% because it was not the expected firmware.
The fix.
Wipe system in recovery then try again. With system wiped. The firmware matches and installs as expected.
Just wanted to share my experience. Maybe it will help someone else with the same problem.

What fixed it for my friend was "format data," as in internal storage as well.
Thank you!

Hi, sorry for my english , I'm french
I wanted to flash a custom rom on my LG G2 D802 .
I wanted the Paranoid Android (PA +) with 4.3 JellyBean .
So I made the
Backup
Wipe data / factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik Cache
After I
Choose zip ( custom ROM ) from sd card
Then I
Reboot System Now
And turn on my laptop, I get an error message saying
[640 ] started Fastboot Mode
[ 690] udc start ()
I realized I had to flash AOSP kernel before changing to a ROM paranoid . But my kernel is blocked and so I have to go back to the stock ROM
When I did this tutorial using lg tools , flashing stops at 49% with an error message .
I also saw that I could access the recovery mod by following this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565904(but I saw that I could not otherwise reboot my phone after it was bricking ) and therefore flash my stock Rom which I had made the backup . But I do not know if the ROM has been saved and if it remained in my files after the Wipes.
If it is not there, is that in buying a micro USB ====> HUSB adapter, I could install a stock ROM from a USB key ? Or is there a way I can put files from my computer to my laptop which has no port micro sd?
And is what I could with my kernel "blocked " ?
Thank you very much

It sounds like you have access to recovery, so you can use adb to push or pull files from your phone. Your backup should still be on your phone, as long as you didn't wipe the internal storage.
I'd suggest pulling the important photos/videos/backup/files/etc from your phone to your computer, then wiping internal storage or wipe factory reset. Then hopefully it wont get stuck at 49%, as that is what I did for my friend's D801 to allow it to go back to stock 100%.
Exactly what i keep telling people with the same issue, Just do a full wipe in cwm/twrp before restoring to stock. the problem is allot of them can't get into recovery :silly:
Thanks for sharing! Will be useful someday

Posted this problem in another thread but haven't had an answer so hoping this one will help, have a vs980 with B firmware, rooted and was running cm11 Sat I installed rayglobe Rom ported to vs980 after running it for a few hours I decided to install twrp then I was gonna try phills recovery cause I was used to it, I installed freegee from the market and it ran a check and sshowed me the recoveries available for my phone, the short version is for some reason it read my phone version as the rayglobe 802 firmware and I hit install not realizing it wasn't. Reading vs980 now I have no recovery, flash tool does not work ( says wrong phone) rayglobe runs perfect but all maps dealong with root sees a 802 phone. Anyone have a idea how to fix this?

Search is your friend, any app that can edit the build prop should work, please make a backup of your build prop. if you get it wrong your device will not boot.
Ok I found a thread on here about how to use file explorer to change the build prop it says there r 2 entries I need to change but my question is do I change it from d802 to vs980 or vs980b?

I remember that on my L3,while playing a little with it,i had had some problems, and after flashing my Firmware thru KDZ i had a never ending bootloop. The solution i found was to do a factory reset by pressing volume up and down while phone was booting. After that the bootloop ended and the official firmware booted.

Here is a windows video tutorial on how to properly use kdz, i use a windows pc so im not sure how to fix any errors.
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8DcEfvEsbD8
But if you get an error on windows you need to re install the original lg drivers for e610 then go to command prompt and system and to modem then disable lg mobile modem.
Reboot your pc and then run windows enabler, and start kdz.
Again idk how to do this on linux but try to folow the video tutorial and see if it works.
