1. Video recording lags a lot! Both in Google camera and stock camera. Both in SD card and phone memory. It didn't used to lag this much earlier. Any idea why? Not able to use video camera due to this.
2. WiFi is always on! I've switched it off, switched off always scanning, switched off location , still WiFi shows always on. This is sucking my battery.

Hi there.
My problem is this. When you restart my phone works with about 1400mb free RAM. A few days ago I had to do in a short time many photos 20-25 in HDR mode. After 20 picture the camera kick me out, and when I looked at how much RAM I have, I found that I had free only 150mb. I noticed that when taking pictures of RAM consumption increases progressively with each shot, not once. Another thing I noticed that this consumption occurs only when taking pictures in HDR mode. When off HDR shooting mode there is no problem. Separately in the Running Apps nowhere figuring out what is currently using as much memory. When I reboot the phone everything falls into place, but every 20 photos i restart it, and I do not think that is normal. I would like to use HDR. My friends with* Nexus 4 have the same problem, which means that the problem is not in my phone. Can any of you to try and convince you. Before the update I had no problem with the camera and I hope you do not have to go back to the old camera. My question is there a way to fix the problem. Thanks and sorry for my English.
Unfortunately, Your friend and you arent the only one. I have the same problem with pictures in HDR and I am also on a nexus 4... :/
Same problem here. Also in photoshere, after 8-10 photos photosphere kicks me out. havnt still found fix to this issue..
After I took 20+ photos in HDR, free RAM was only 261 MB, and N4 was totaly slow. There sure are problems with google camera.
this is an ongoing issue since sometime now with no fix in sight.
My N4 restarts automatically after taking few shots. the same happens at times in other applications as well. so I don't think it's Camera application itself, but camera drivers or something which is creating the problem.
Yes the infamous camera reboot was supposedly solved in 4.4.3 but it appears that many are still having the issue. It is camera driver related and affects all applications that utilize any of the devices cameras.

Hello.
I flashed Cyanogenmod 13 two days ago. When I connect to my BT speaker it has lag, loss, skipping. The problem is more notable when I am streaming radio on WiFi and less on mobile data. When I am using the phone the problem is bigger especially when trying to see BT menu.
Some minor problems that I experience is that I can't answer calls with home button?!?
WiFi drained the battery yesterday and the phone was warm. After restart it went OK.
I guess I should forget about heart rate sensor on this phone but CM13 is so much faster than stock rom that I want to stay on it. Also the notifications now are working correctly. On my touchwiz all were staying on phone no matter checked and cleared from PC (skype, messenger, gmail, etc.) The BT problem is my biggest one.
I'm sure I've read it's a common issue with CM and Bluetooth at the moment. Personally never tried CM on this device yet because of its limitations like no MHL support.
Thanks. Actually I did a mistake upgrading to the last nigtly while thinking there is a snapshot before. Anyways it should come.

FXP AOSP Website
AOSP_M_161203_satsuki.zip is the build/ROM i tested
Working:
Camera - Semi buggy, upside down.
Wifi - Rather solid. Offered up 200Mbps on a speedtest
Bluetooth - Added wireless earbuds and they sounded crystal clear
Finger Print reader - Working (setup and tested 100%)
Battery life was pretty good during the time i was testing it. It only dropped 5% for the 2 hours i tested it.
I would call this one 90% ready for prime time. Once they settle a couple more issues with the camera it should be good to go!
I flashed This Camera Mod and it seems to fix most of the camera issues while adding features. There is still some inconsistency with it launching but it was mostly good to go. All the images looked clear and the camera was 90% responsive to everything.
This post is 100% informational so others know about their builds. I am in no way part of this group in any way!
I confirmed this running in E6883. I think there are some problems on boot.img, since I cannot see any boot screen. Other than that, the phone boots up well w/ GApps.
SD Card is NOT supported.
Fingerprint sensor seldomly works. I had very hard time getting the sensor to recognize my fingerprints.
I had no issues with camera based on the given stock camera app. Quality is terrible but I had no orientation, discoloring problems.
Mobile data is random. Sometimes I get LTE, sometimes I stay at HSPA, sometimes I get no mobile data. Phone call works great though.
I can confirm there are no problems with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
If anyone can post a link with working boot/kernel as well as TWRP that works with this ROM, that would be great.
Hi all. So I recently got my OP5, moving away from a Nexus 5X. The phone works great but I've been experiencing some screen off drains related to senors which I find weird. So I just need some clarification on if this is normal. I'm using the latest official LineageOS btw. Using TitaniumBackup I transferred all my "user" apps and data from the N5X to the OP5 (no system data obviously). But for whatever reasons, sensors which I assume were working normally with my apps with my N5X are now causing wakelocks.
For example,
the magnet sensor which was used by Tasker now keeps my phone awake (the screenshot shows the magnet sensor active only while the screen is on. I turned off the monitor option in Tasker the night before otherwise it would also show like an hour active wakelock)
the accelerometer sensor which was used by WhatsApp now keeps my phone awake
the proximty sensor which was used by the android system now keeps my phone awake
This obviously never happened before with my N5X... So any suggestions? Thanks.
So it turns out. It wasn't a sensor issue. All sensors are operating normally with minimal/no drain. The issue was a kernel problem. Which is strange cuz I was running stock Lineage and I haven't heard anyone else complain about this specific issue. But the problem went away after flashing blu_spark kernel Phone is sleeping like a baby now
Lately I have this problem with my gps. When screen is off and the device is not plugged in, the accuracy is bad. it seems as though it switched back to "cell towers" only. When recording my position using any app (like Strava or Locus) the position is far out of range until I switch on the screen: I can see the pin being restored to the correct location and follows me correctly until I switch off the screen again.
I did a lot of research but I only can find suggestions like "switch on high accuracy" which I obviously have switched on.
Anyone notice this same behaviour?
Any solutions?
I'm on the latest stock ROM: OxygenOS 9.0.5 (non-root)
thanks!

Maybe you did not exclude your apps from battery optimization? I have no issues using orux maps (OB33).
Thank you for your response. I should've mentioned the battery settings I already activated:
battery optimisation for the apps are off.
apps are locked in the recent apps so that they're not being killed and removed from memory
Deep optimisation and Sleep Standby Optimisation are off
Is it possible that I missed an optimisation?
Btw, it seems to be app unrelated: when I lock the GPS in Locus (recording position) and activate Strava as well, both apps record the same inaccurate position.

The GPS on the OP5 is known to have glitches where it suddenly shoots off to another location. I've found this yusing my Canon Connect app to record the location of my pictures.

I never had issues with GPS and there's no general problem with GPS.
