[Q] Help Needed!!!! not able to receive call when using network to stream large Data

Hi Guys,
I am in love with my phone ever since i ported Android into......
But there one issue that i am facing........
I am not able to receive calls on my HTC HD2 while i am buffering some video or dowloading huge data on an EDGE network.
DO any of you also have faced the same issue, Can you guys suggest me if there are any work around for this????
My Rom details are as below
Rom: TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 Nightly v3.3.4[2.3.4][A2SD][tytung r10]
Radio:2.15

When using gprs/edge, the phone is effectively in use, so calls can't get through.
Think about the days of dialup modems,,, when the modem is connected the phone line is engaged.

there isnt one, 2g cannot have an active data connection and use voice calls
to do this you need to be on 3g

But when I contacted my service provider(Vodafone India) They mentioned that there is no such problem reported from my location.
They inturn told me that it could be some wrong settings done in the mobile....
I guess they are wrong then .... right????
If not is there any setting that i can tinker with to get this done....
PS: I have tried the rom with various radios as well but that was not much help....

radios will not help because whaty ou want cannot be done!!!! you cannot have a 2g connection downloading data and use voice at the same time, this can only be done on a 3g connection
your providing are not telling you the truth

Slow loading of clash of clans latest version and previous one before December 2015 also.. while loading it says lost connection with server and if i try again abd wait few mins it works . So i hav to wait few mins every time i open the app tbis is really irritating i don't find this issue in ogber Smartphones. I have good data network 3g/4g.

Lollipop 5.1.1
Please someone help me and fix this issue I'm very sad. Do i have to change my smartphone to play clash of clans???

Try reinstalling the app. Or use Wifi

I have also same problem in same mobile.
but its my curiosity that, when I cloned a coc and open it, its not taking same time or any connection error. but I don't know why coc (without clone) taking much time in my phone?

HTC One m9+ Internet problem

Helllo,
I could not find any revelant thread for this and so i waited for the Marshmallow update and not yet to come so i thought i could use some professional help to fix this irritating issue.
I have HTC One m9+ and so far everything is going well with the phone, except one single thing and driving me crazy which is the internet issue.
I have two major issues:
1- When phone is on WIFI at home and i did not use for some time, the phone seems to be disconnected from the internet .. and i have tried all possible tweaks and settings for power saving and sleeping but nothing worked so far, the only thing that is possible for me is to keep on data 4G all the time, which comes the other problem
2- When on Data (3g or 4G) the phone sometimes loses connectivity completely, i just have to wait and wait until i get 4G connection again.. although signal is ok and i still receive calls but just data stops.. i tried matching settings like my galaxy note 3 and checking different APN from ISP but still same.
However, the first problem is more important, but if you can help me with both it will be great

Hello, update that the problem is actually in Whatsapp application and not the rest of the phone, on WIFI whatsapp does not receive any messages unless i open it after unlock (works fine on data)
I tried PNF and change heart beat but still the same. background data is enabled for whatsapp, notification all good, reinstalled application.. still the same

Do you have some ports blocked at your Wifi? WhatsApp and other messenger like Viber are using some ports which may be blocked at Univercity Wifi or other Wifi's...

in wifi settings, log press your wifi SSID than advanced options and set the IP to DHCP

i had the same problem but i solved out on HTC m9 + . bluetooth and wifi doesnt work together get speedtest app and try it with that when yopu have bluetooth on wifi speed gets under 0.1 mb download and 0 upload speed after you shutdown the bluetooth wifi is ok this problem comes with the 1.08.401.6 change your firmware

Yes, I get exactly the same. Seems that switching on Bluetooth causing significant issues with Wi-Fi. Should have been fixed by HTC ages ago.
I am on the latest EU firmware 1.90.401.3 - I don't think it used to be an issue.

i had that firmware but when i open the camera touchscreen doesnt work proparly and swtiching the cameras takes about 10 seconds it takes 5 seconds or more to take a picture so i downgrade my phone back to earlier firmware

Oh, not had that issue with latest firmware. Weird.

Moto G -XT1033 - Max Uptime- 500+ Days

Have been running my MotoG Xt 1033 for more than 500 days without rebooting once.
Firmware is Stock Android 4.4.4
Build KXB21.14-L1.40
Phone used mostly for calls since this is backup phone. min Internet usage and very few apps installed
Very happy with hardware build by Motorola.
Have a new MotoG3 used as primary device with phone/internet usage on 3g and wifi now running for 196 days as of April 11.
I dont think any other device manufacturer will be able to meet this record.
Will try to post image links or video.
my best decision to get Moto Phones.

Aviator F-Series Mark 1

Hello everybody
I own a Aviator F-Series Mark 1 smartwatch and the app dos´nt work because the server is down.
So i can´t update the time of the watch.
Have anyone an idea to make the app work without an internet connection?
