Hello. Thanks in advance for your help.
(Oh! Sorry for my bad English, not my native language)
My galaxy s5 phone (Samsung SM-G900F) is having problems with the camera, because when the application suddenly appears a message saying "connection error" and does not allow to use it. So I reset the phone to work again.
I thought maybe by installing a newer version of the ROM version would work (my operator no update at that time), so I downloaded the latest version without carrier.
However, the problem occurs again. So I want to take your phone to the warranty offered by my carrier, but I must erase traces of flashes, because otherwise I will not get the phone to warranty.
How I can reset the flash counter knox without altering the warranty void?
At this time, the device is unroot. But in the download mode, the number of flash appears.
Thanks for the help.

So will the company respect that it is a hardware problem and Support the warranty, or not because of the counter?
I don't know what happens in this case, that's why I ask..
Thanks,

As you live in Europe warranty even after rooting is still valid, unless Samsung can prove that rooting caused the defect. This is a European law for protecting consumers.

Right now I have 0x0 Knox Warranty Void.
I want to reset the flash counter only ..
I know I can root with Towelroot. I know I can reset the counter with triangle away. But I do not know if using triangle away will tripping knox warranty void 0x1.
Doesn't the Knox Counter 0xsomething indicate if the device has been flashed? If it's 0x0, your warranty is still there and you don't have to worry.

The Knox flag cannot be reset.
Good searching and good reading! Is this forum really this hard? It's been asked countless times and there a countless threads discussing it.
Easy solution.
Buy white out/tipex.
Write a 0 over 1 on the screen.
Knox now reset to 0 ??
Hello! I been on stock. Tried a couples of roms. Now I give my phone and been tring to get it to stock. Only problem is that using the Triangle Away the apk wont rebot. I do it manually but nothing hapends... What can I do? Want relly to get to full stock! Thanks! PS: I'm on 5.0.1
Triangle Away doesn't work on Android 5.0.1 as there is no flash counter. If you flashed a custom ROM of any kind, you likely tripped the Knox flag. Once the Knox flag is tripped, it stays tripped. There's no way to change it.
Hello.
Recently i bought a new s7 edge.
First thing i did was install the stock firmware from my country (since the phone i bought was from spain).
Then i noticed this:
SWREV: b:1 k:0 s:0
Is that normal? Can someone who never rooted confirm that b:1 is the normal state of the phone?
Besides that... is it possible to reset that same counter to 0 without tripping knox?
yes, that is normal every time, you flash the phone the binary counter increases.
No it is not possible to reset counter without tripping knox.
Hi!
I was not aware of this issue before I rooted my Galaxy A5 2016. Android 7.0
To unroot it Ii install the latest firmware using Kies but after that I wasn't able to use Knox.
It shows this error when I try to open Knox
"My Knox cannot be installed because unauthorized software has been installed on your device."
Please help me to fix this...
No way to return back.
