New to Note 4. Help me! - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently bought it but my favorite games are giving FCs. I copied GTA SA and Asphalt 8 from my S3 data but they are just crashing. I have to copy obb to internal memory or on extSDcard? Why this is happening so, help please?

If you copied data from your S3 - It could be because of different screen size/resolution.

Unable to download game data, fix?

I been getting numerous errors lately trying to download the extra data some games require such as dungeon defenfers and spectral souls.
The .apk downloads fine but when it's trying to download the data, it gives me an error a bit after, maybe 30 seconds. Both games tell me it couldn't connect to remote host meaning their servers. I tried using both HSPA and WIFI.
I even tried changing roms, I stared at darkys 9.3 beta I think, then I moved on to the port made by one of our devs. Later I flashed bionix then frost including the sdcard fix. So should I flash an earlier rom? or is there a fix im not.aware of? Lastly gameloft games download just fine.

For dungeon defenders I had he same problem. I realized after awhile that it was trying to download the data to the external sd, which it never did before. After deleting Avatar, it was finally able to download the remainder of the data needed. Its not like Avatar was working for me at all now anyway and I backed it up to my computer.
Hope that helps.

Wipe your memory card. It should work. Backup the ea folder and transfer it after wipe. ( /EA )

The great thing about it is that I can install all my purchased games now and not have to worry about "play, uninstall, reinstall new game, uninstall".

Can you remove a game but keep the save?

I need more storage.

Not that I'm aware of. Maybe something like Titanium Backup could find the data file and back it up. I'm not sure how many people have tried to backup OUYA game data.

With such small storage space you need to be able to save your fills if you. delete a game. More storage is what we need.

Isn't there already a solution (app) that can move data files off to a HDD?
I haven't tried Titanium Backup on Ouya but with root access, it should work. Google has support for cloud saves but without the framework I don't think this is an option.
DataSync+ requires root and backs up data to the cloud. It also will auto search your network for other DataSync devices and allow syncing (so you can keep multiple devices in sync).
If you have a large drop box or box.net storage this is probably your best option.

I need to know if there a place to find just the save data.

this is more game dependent. I know you can with GTA3 and GTAVC. The files are in the android/data directory and are composed of the three files. The large extra files are stored in the android/ogg directory. You just need to start a game after reinstalling, than can replace with your old game saves.
Other games, you'll have research or experiment.
Some games have where you can save to the cloud and sync, such ad Dead Trigger. This allows to play across multiple devices easily.
Gta3 is side loaded that doesn't help with things like sonic or a bards tale. I just thought they would have a update for this and to make more storage. You can even go to a list of the games you own so you know what you have.
