Talk to respond, agent do not disturb - X Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I'm trying to get the "talk to respond" to work in agent do not disturb . I have read messages aloud, talk to respond and always use phone speaker selected. My language settings are set to English US and the auto responds aren't selected. I'm trying this out on squids cm and kernel. I really like the ROM but the moto assist is something that I miss. Has anyone had any success?
Thanks

There are certain keyword type questions that will cause it to reply to your question in a voice response like 'google define (whatever)' will get an audio response with a definition. I don't know all of the triggers that get audio responses but define is one of them. It's google now with audio that you are asking about, not google voice which is a separate app that does voicemail, etc through google..

Text Reader?

In driving mode the phone will read your text messages to you as they come in. Is there a way to get it to do this when not driving?
Edited: I know there are apps that will do this, but since it is obviously already capable, why add an app?
Simple
Just go to moto voice or wake your device using your hotword and say: "talk to me"

Call forwarding to Google Voice don't work

Hi
I don't have tmobile network at my work location
So before I enter into office I enable call forwarding to my Google voice number so that my calls will get forwarded and I can receive calls from Hangouts app.
Unfortunately I'm not getting any calls on Hangouts..
This used to work fine on my old Galaxy Note II.
I wish they implement wifi calling soon..
Any suggestions. Please help me
This works fine for me. I find that the settings on Google's voice site are confusing. Did you change anything there?
Also, you need to call forward your calls in the initial setup. Was this done?
EDIT: Oh, I see you want to take calls in Hangouts... That I do not do. I just get my VM handled by Google.
Check your power management settings. It sounds like the overly aggressive PM is not allowing notifications from google services and/or hangouts. Might be suspending those services/apps too.
I haven't had time to delve deep into this to figure out, but there's a few threads about similar issues where the cause was the power management. Certain apps/services will have to be white listed.
