i am sorry i i willwrite many words but u have toknow why i need ur help..Last years i was at work.3 kids 15-17-17 years old always sit with their motorbikes outside on the street.i live in a small place and everybody know each other.the kids live just 100 meters from my ex-work anymore....so they r teenagers and they r like all teengers.one day a police car pass over and they start to make the sound of sirene of the car by their mouth..the police car didnt stop and 20 minutes later i see in seconds 2 jeeps with 4 special police to close them with their cars and start beat them up...they handcuffed him and cick them in whole body.i took my phone and i record them.suddenly i feel a fist in my neck from behimd and took my phone and arrest me and take me in nobody stays on store....someone call the boss and came after i was left arrested handcuffed and a blue eye.so here is i need ur help..they have my phone for oner 3 hours and check it...i could listen them they were very afraid of what they see to this video ....next day i go to the court they release me (bcoz court didnt happen)-(will happen 2016) and i get my phone back...there was no video in.....i tried many times to recover it but always i get my videos broken.once i try another software and i recover a video with same date and time...so i try to fix it without results.in a thread here about hot to fix broken -corrupt videos i found a software video repair tool .i did try it to the video but nothing happen.then i thought it doesnt work......after this before i quit i decide to try one of the other broken videos i found from recover data software...HHAAHAHHA QUESS WHAT....the video was nearly same megabites with the one i capture thats why i chose this and i see 1 minute of the video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!wowowowowow,,,,biggest discoveries came fom accidents...i was ready to give up...one whole years i am trying to fix it...anyway the problem is i have a video 80mb and i supossed to have a video with 8 minutes about 3.gp video....the software is giving 50% coz it is demo.....i did try with cmd to make them 2 and fix it but it gaves me the same results...i make the video 160 mb but i still took one minute fom 60 mb also 1 minute with 34 mb the first video...in the video i see u can see the cops beat him up but it was at the end and many people was there and the police keep saying that they get beat....hohohoho....special police get beaten by 15 years old kid......so this is my problem someone have any solution?i also get a few seconds from another corrupt video....if i can gt the whole video i can proove for me and for the kids that they didnt say nothing..JUST STOP AND START BEAT EVERYONE WAS AROUND!!!SOME HELP PLEASE GUYS???
right now i am write this i use my phone as wifi hot spot becoz the page didnt open....sais that someone is trying to get to my network for codes...coinstntace?maybe.....thanks for reading all this...

i did this one yar ago...i saved the files becoz i use the phone so the file it supposed to be the correct didnt get repaired...i see the date and time bu they broken my phone and i gound another video of wing chun master and the name was file.0005 so when i try to fix this one i found one minute with the correct video..the one they destroy...so i am thnking the just destroy all my videos and make the correct video in pieces and put it inside other videos....i found videos and when i repair them is just a song...do u understand what they did to my phone?even now i still try to recover and i see new videos destroyed....new videos....so my phone is broken something....here is experts of androids so i decide to try fix it here,..if someone want to help i can write down with a friends help who speak good english to explain what they did to my phone and to the video...i try to explain above but my english not so good..thank u for replying

Hi All,
I've had a bad "tech" day today Walked into work, put my laptop down and dropped my X1a . I'm 6'4" so its a pretty long way to drop even if its on to carpet. Sure enough, turned my phone on and the LCD wont turn on anymore although I hear the expected sounds etc
It is under warranty since it was bought at a Sony Style store out here in Massachusettes but the issue is that I had a custom ROM on it and without the screen turning on, I wont be able to replace it with the stock SPL, Radio, FW etc etc..
So my question is, do I even bother sending this thing in or do I spend the coming weekend disassembling this thing in the vague hope that I can fix it.
Anyone got some wisdom to offer on this?

well u dont need the screen to be on to flash it , and hardspl i dont think they will check it for a physical damage fix

I can relate to that, I'm 6/4 myself and havnt had one phone I havnt yet dropped, except my Xperia, but my girlfriend fixed that one when taking it off me while I was getting my new born nephew out of the car, so I hadnt o choice but to let the phone hit the floor when she dropped it. Couple of nasty scratches on the front casing and a really annoying one on the screen but I will have to live with it, I can neither take it out on her or the fact i had the littlun in my arms.
Anyway, to flash the SPL is probably the most difficult, but still simple, it just needs to be in USB mode (VOL-+POWER) from off and do the rest from PC. As for radio/ROM, use the SD method, requires only 1 button press which is the power button I think to confirm and then you're good to go.
It may end up stuck at connection setup or something, but they wont care, and if they do you just say you had sensitive data on there and had to hard reset before service.
As for timing I don't know, I'm yet to take mine in over the keyboard problem because I can't do without the phone a the moment.
I had same problem with screen, and they didnt take it under warranty because dropped me and flat cable gone. Took it to SE service, 40$ and two days work...
Does the service center check the SPL? I sent it twice w/0 changing to stock spl with no problems.
send it... dont tell them you dropped it unless you can tell that it was dropped. you got nothing to lose except a bill telling you what it would cost to fix it.
Mate, there is an other help to your case.
There is program for PC called "Jeyo Mobile Companion 2.1".
Download a trial (works for 30 days I think) and you will be able
to see what would be on the phone screen on your computer.
I used that to backup all my mails when my screen was broken.
You just have to have that program, connect your phone via USB
and you will be able to see the screen on your computer.

It rarely pays to lie to the person taking your phone apart; they can almost always tell you're lying. Not telling, however; that's not the same as lying ;D
My X1 died tonight do I may have dropped it one time to many, thusly the screen started to malfunction also the phone will not start anymore..
I have switched to my Symbian Samsung Phone as of 10 minutes ago.
Tomorrow I will put my old X1 in into the box which it came to this Earth and send it Vahalla.
I will post a video of it passing on Youtube tomorrow and post the link.
X1 - May You rest in peace.

My condolences. My parents told me my last phone ran away. It happens ALL the time they said. I caught them flushing it down the toilet. It didn't run away at all. It was dead... DEAD!!!11!!!1!! *Sob*
Anyway so what puppy....er phone... er pupp... whatever will you get to replace it?
Ohh sorry to hear that dude....I just got my phone up from a half dead state..I cant even think of dropping it...So next time when you get your HD2 never let it drop down, or else you will have to make a tribute video for that too...Dont drop the phone...

I killed my X1 tonight by deleting of TouchInput item in registry. After restart i saw just black screen with no loading
I pressed volume down and ON button,phone loaded in BOOT session.
Yeep,X1 still ALIVE
I downloaded new X1Blackstone x1.06 firmware and tryed to update firmware. Software said me\Connection Error!\
Wow////Dont Panic!!!
I loaded firmware and tryed to connect again. I reconnected twice in second.
Updating were started.Uhh....
FIRSTLY....if you killed your X1.....DONT PANIC !!! (read xda !! )

you could get good money for it as spare components anyway most of the case when phones die due dropping is because the some of the ic's becomemlose on board sometimes is just take 10 min to get it work again with a BGA rework station (what gonna happen to your computer if you take the cpu out)? as my boss would say nothing is inpossible...

I think my X1 is very sick.
The screen is not working like it should.....gives weird colors etc.
It felt in the snow last week....that same day it was constantly restarting and restarting whole day. Then about 1 week it worked just fine and now the screen is acting a bit weird....
I think at has to go to the repairman.....
Display Going crazy
Hi, I also have a problem with my xperia x1 display it doesnt work very good when I boot it up the display and the buttons bellow the display arent working, there is no light nothing, then I have to wait till the windows boots up and start pressing all the buttons (d-pad, call button etc.) so the display could start working, but there is another problem when I press the on/off button to switch the damn display off the backlight keeps working and the backlight of the keys its just so strange. I tried changing windows but its the same. Pls HELPPP!!!!!

hello, anybody tried to capture video on mpeg4 format for more than 10 minutes?
I have a 4gb class 6 microsd card, and I have been to a concert, and captured about 30 minutes of it, but as I downloaded the file to my computer I had this unpleasant surprise to find out that after about 8 minutes and 20 seconds only the video goes on without audio from the rest of it . please if you had this issue and solved it somehow, I am awaiting for advices, maybe a new program to capture with ? I was untill now very satisfied with this phone even that I had it already repaired (digitizer problem, newton rings or something like that, was changed in warranty), but I would like to solve this problem. Also I'm not sure I'm ready to change the ROM due to I have it under warranty.... thanks
strange.. just watched the movie clip on the phone and it has sound all the way to the end.. I must have some broken codecs maybe on my pc or something....

I dont know if this might help, but I faced this issue, when i had an HTC Touch GSM. In Touch when we record a movie clip & transfer the same onto PC there was no audio, surprisingly the clip worked just fine with audio on the device. You might want to check the ELFIN Forum to check if someone has faced this issue & has found a solution. I think when the file gets transfered to the PC via activesync, the audio part is either scraped or not transfered.
My Touch was stolen & I bought a Touch2. I have recored upto 5 mins of video & transfered it to my pc the clip is fine. I will try to run more longer clip & keep you updated on the outcome.
But it is my guess that this has nothing to do with either the ROM or the device. There may a middleware which converts the raw video feed into mpeg format, when it does it keeps the audio & video tracks apart (i dont know why). When we transfer the same onto some other machine only the video part gets transfered.
Did you download the file using ActiveSync?`Could be some sort of converting error...

So here Goes After 24 hrs of trying to get the one hande operation to work properly here i am , i canot for the life of me get Use for all screens to work , i have watched several videos , even went frame by frame , but no luck , i canot get any screens to resize to be able to use easier with one hand , i get the keyboard to resize but not any pages , your supposed to be able flick your thumb in the out , and the screen is supposed to get smaller , and you are suposed to be able to resize the screens to you liking , i cannot get this feature to work ,again i have watched sevedral video's ,no luck was on the phone with T mo for about 45 minutes no luck , i'm wondering if it's just my device , any feedback would be greatly appreciated and thanked ..................i'm outta patience , oddly enough this was the one feature that let me make my final decision to purchase this beast ,, sorry for Rambling and Thanks in advance.................

i have a gt-i9505 with lollipop 5.0.1 offcial , i flashed the official lollipop, the pit ,ap,,bl,cp and csc , checked the autoreboot, re-partition and f.reset time ( all the rest unchecked) using odin 3.09.
but even so , some nasty guy is trackng my position and even recording my phone calls ( i know it) , i think that my girlfriend who just bought an lg bello and put her old sim card , those guys where able to record her calls also ( maybe the virus is spread through line messenger or whatsapp.???!!)
it may sound like a spy movie , but this is exactely what i am suffering , dont laugh but right now i am using an old samsung phone without internet.
please i neeed help , i need to reflash every single android partition on the s4 , boot, system........

clear evidence is that this group of people are monitoring my line messages and phone conversation , for example , yesterday i texted my girlfriend via line messenger and told her that today i am going back home , right now the bad guys are talking about this fact ( sitting on a bar and talking about it) , imagine ,i bought a brand new lg bello to my girlfriend and when she put her usual sim card , the next day , they also monitoring her cell phone ( activating the microphone) , how i know tht? simple answer , when we have the phone near us some times when we are talking about lets say something funny the guys outside they laugh also (this is not our imagination) , i think that this kind of trojan or tracking device or lets say unknown calamity is installed remotely by maybe line messenger or via network signal or....
i am just a regular android user so i dont have extensive knowledge.
i went to the police , they say you hve no evidence so they can do nothing .
oh i fogot , they were able to track me down using my s4 ( gps or maybe signal triangulation) . i think they got phusical access to the phone one day when i blackedout hahahha
if i dont get help , i think i will sell this phone and change my sim number , but again maybe they will infected it again ....
