Someone please suggest a best gallery app for One Plus 2 which is fully functional and with all options to organize all pics in phone.
Also a best file manager
Also provide the download link for these apks.
Since google photo app is sucks to the max,
I will suggest you My Roll for Gallery replacement, and for file manager, ES File manager has everything you gonna need
For gallery, try quickpic, piktures , focus.
And for file manager, one and only Root Explorer
Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
I would recommend piktures.

Quickpic was good, but now is malware program (Cheetah developer). The last good quickpic version is the 4.5.2.
I would suggest Piktures
@Shyciii: True. I switched to F-Stop Media Gallery and bought it, because I want to support the development. Again a step like QuickPic would kill one of the last good apps in this category. I wouldn't have had any problem, donating something for QuickPic. It was simply the best of the best.
Many users say: Nah, not that tragic.
I say: If they would have looked into the sourcecode, I'm sure that they won't use it anymore. Several chinese servers are collecting data. Some don't even have an URL - just the IP. Dunno what data exactly (Sandbox-test would be the best), but... can't stand that way. QuickPic became spyware. Nuff said.
Piktures.. Like it a lot and great management of my photos.
OnePlus 2 With OXYGENOS Rooted
I am using this since yesterday.
switched from piktures, I find this new one much light and smarter.
I use Sony's Album App. It works Perfect for me..
Gallery app from Cyanogen Os
The last version(prior to cheetah) of Quickpic you will find here
Quickpic

Piktures or the Gallery app from OPO.

Coming from a Sony xperia zl, I was already hooked on Sony's album app, so brought it with me to the OPO and now using it on OP2. As stated by Wild01...it works fine for me.
And for a file manager...es file explorer is what I use
QuickPic
QuickPic and ZArchiver
Using toolwiz photos since 2-3 days amazing app, MUST TRY it with some cool features;
themes ,great editing tool, duplicates, compress photos, hide photos, timeline(photo journey) etc..
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.btows.photo&hl=en
Here is the APK of QuickPic 4.5.2, I resigned it with test keys using zipsigner so it wouldn't nag the $h!t out of you anymore in the playstore to update to the latest Cheetah Mobile garbage version..
Enjoy.

Where can we get the Sony app?

I'm currently on blay0's ROM (deodexed) and I'm wondering whether or not I can replace the stock gallery app with the one from CM7. I'd assume there's some adb work involved (pushing CM7's gallery to the appropriate place) unless I'm grossly misinformed.
I don't want to go right ahead in case I somehow irreversibly mess things up, even though I can nandroid. It's also nice to have and provide discussion.
Why don't you install quickpic or some other third party application? My experiences with the cm7 are bad, it's terribly slow. the only thing it brings is nice eye candy.
My experiences with the Gallery in CM7 are better than those with the stock gallery, hence this thread.
I am happy with CM7, but with one tradeoff. I have never ever been able to use its gallery app. It takes forever to load images from sd card.
Just use QuickPic to browse images.
Can we stay on topic, please?
I do not want to use a third party app to do something as basic as browsing photos. I just want to do as the first post describes.
Possible, just push the ones you want and pull the ones from Blayo's.
Hm. I was thinking there could be something else involved but I'll give it a try regardless.
Swyped from my Legend using the xda app
Isn't the cm7 gallery app just Gallery 3D?
A question on this:
The cm7 gallery doesn't seem to be deodexed. So if you wanted to copy an app like this, you have to copy the odex file as well, do you?

Must have apps..
I just sold my iPad as well.
My must have apps include:
Reader HD (for feeds)
MX Video Player
FriendCaster (facebook)
Official Twitter App for twitter
Album Art Grabber (fast and accurate)
Tabr Widget (with Agenda and Social modules)
Google Goggles
Google Earth
Deerhunter HD (seriously awesome)
tinyshark is good for music.
I recommend TouchDown for corporate exchange access.
go to http://www.tablified.com/for list of honeycomb apps
There's also tweetcaster HD that's currently in beta now. I use it and like it a lot for tweeting.
Plume is great for twitter, and the widget is awesome
some of my must have apps ...
news360
circle launcher
dolphin browser HD
Skyfire browser (if you watch any non-flash videos)--hulu still doesnt work though
dropbox
logmein (not cheap so only get it if you're gonna use it alot)
plex
google music
seekdroid (just in case you leave it somewhere) -- I'm pretty sure it doesn't work on the stock rom, but definitely works with in paris.
hide it pro (if there's ever any prying eyes)
wolfram alpha (if your doing any math related work its epic)
tablet keyboard
there's other area specific apps that would be useful but you probably wouldn't use em
idk what root apps you have so i'll just list em all ...
blade buddy (extended version of spare parts+) -- same developer.
voltage control (its a more advanced version of setcpu basically)
nitrality
battery calibration (if you have battery troubles ever)
root explorer (one of the best)
sentinel 3 (if you like tower defense games its the best)
hopefully that helped

The tablet and phone versions have now been consolidated into one "TweetCaster" app (same goes with FriendCaster). Unless you're a power twitter user who needs several separate lists I recommend TweetCaster over the other twitter clients. To me it is by far the most aesthetically pleasing.
I'll also recommend FriendCaster for Facebook. I used FriendMe for a while but I've found I prefer the former.
I won't repeat what others have said here, but I prefer File Manager HD for file explorer duties.
Other apps I use regularly are Reddita for Reddit browsing, DGT-GTD for my ToDo list (toodledo sync. It's just a stretched out phone version, but it still looks great on the tab), and IMDb looks excellent on Honeycomb.

Pulse - looks great on tab. All your blogs and newsy websites in one spot
GALLERY APP FOR GINGERBREAD (ROOTED), CM7, CM9
- Looks like ICS gallery.
- Gives better quality to photos.
- LG UI 3 icon and Gallery as name in the app drawer.
- Just take a look.
This one only works in system/app.
1- Put the apk in system/app using a file manager with root privileges.
2- Set permissions to rw-r-r
3- Reboot and enjoy.
This one can be installed as a normal apk.
looks nice, testing right now on my galaxy gio
edit: does quickpic need to be uninstalled for this to work or can i have both? o;
awesome app..very useful..!

Thank you I'm downloading it right now.
great.....downloading now..
I have noticed today after I updated some applications, they are added automatically to the multiwindow panel. Like Papyrus and MX player.
These are my default application for note taking and video playing. And now another great advantage to have them on pop up windows.
Of course I'm using stock rooted Rom MA3.
It's really great from Samsung, hoping more applications update to be updated to support multiwindow.

If you want all your apps , or just choose whatever you like to be added to the multiwindow panel, you don`t have to wait for Samsung.
Simply use this wonderful app. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2079807
You can download it from Play Store.
Yep, but it's great that Samsung is doing it as well for the less gifted normal user.. not that I was more gifted, just more willing to "risk" my tablet for the multiwindow capability.

It's not Samsung... The developers of those apps kindly decided to add multi window support
Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk HD
At the very least it's nice that Samsung designed the multi window so that developers can make their apps compatible, we will see what the adoption rate off this feature is. It will be interesting to see how eager app devs are to jump on board, and a good way to see how popular the note line is. Or are there other devices that are compatible with multi window?
Oh nice! MX Player is my video player of choice too.
If any of you are redditors, Reddit News supports multi-window too!
I have noticed
Moon+ Reader Pro v1.8.9
Solid Explorer v1.4.2
MX Player v1.7.11
If you have any icons hidden in your multi-window panel you may have to go into edit and un-hide them after you do the update. That happened to me with MX Player.

Rooting apps or apps in general? Here are a few straight out of my head:
Nova Launcher Prime - absolutely the best launcher I ever used. It has everything, a bucketload of features (even more in the Prime version), blazing speed, a great user community, and one of the most hardworking devs I've ever encountered (beta versions come out almost daily).
Tapatalk - if you use forums, very handy app, makes forums work like a charm on the phone (typing from it as we speak)
Root Explorer - though there are free root explorers out there, I find Root Explorer to be the most stable and it just works every time.
Titanium Backup - a must have if you flash ROMs and change bases often, this app can be of invaluable help.
Mobile ODIN - the same as Titanium, allows you to flash stuff without the need for a PC.
Tune In Radio Pro - the free version is great, but the Pro has no ads.
WeatherPro - pretty reliable forecast app (but with horribly ugly widgets though).
If you like music and listen to it a lot, consider some song-spotting apps like Soundhound or Shazam Encore. Also, if the stock player is not up to your everyday needs, check out PlayerPro and PowerAMP.
That's all I have for now. I would also recommend Smart Remote, but it's a bit out from the other apps' league because of its price (10$).

Best apps I have found worthy of buying is power amp (using it since 1st official release) and tiny call confirm+.
I've also bought some others, stop 3 data roaming (3 is now shut down so app is now obsolete) & 2d pool.

Also should mention, the best voice dialer is voice speed dial by cyberon, the reason is, is you use your own voice for voice tags for contacts rather than rely on speech recognition that 1. Uses internet data and 2. Doesn't work most of the time.
