Question about volumes - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My MPXE is stock unrooted. The only thing that annoys me about this phone is that the notification volume is tied to ringer volume. Is there a work around for this? Would I need to root and install a custom ROM to fix this?

[Q] Ringtone reset after reboot

Hi All,
Running stock ROM on myTouch 4g. Rooted with GFree.
After every reboot it tends to lost the default ringtone I have set for the phone. Its a custom MP3 ringtone, and after the reboot it resets to some stock default ringtone.
Anyone else saw this and have a solution?
Use VISIONary, never had a problem what-so-ever with it.

NO sounds

hy guys
yesterday after uninstalling two games from my note(after a 1\2 an hour) i received a call and i couldn't hear the ringtone(while i could hear the voice in the speaker) i tried also sms, music, games, but nothing...my Samung was mute...i reinstalled kl7 stock rom and after that the previous KKA (the newest rom for italy) but nothing again...
my galaxy note was rooted + CWM and i tried to wipe data cache and so on but nothing again...
now a question,is it possible that uninstalling tho games they deleted something important in the note?
and is it possible that i flashed two new roms, but i flashed them without making a factory reset and i continue to have the error that stopped "singing"my Note?
thank you all for your answers!!!
The ringtone and alarm sounds problem could be because you have set a custom ringtone BUT you forget to set it back after a ROM update/change.
IF you have a custom ringtone it gets "lost" sometimes after firmware change/update so remember/try to set it back and test if it works.
If you only use system ringtone it probably come from antother things but I doubt it come from the uninstallation of an apk.
Godd luck

[Q] Oppo Find 5 Speaker and Notifications problem.

Hey guys, I'm using a 32GB International White Find 5. I'm running ColorOS v1.0.2i beta. After I flashed the ROM it replaced my custom TWRP recovery with a recovery from oppo. I seem to have lost root access and the speakers, tactile feedback and vibrations aren't working. No ringtone or vibrations when any messages or calls come through. No music or alarm playback through the rear speakers, and no tactile feedback when typing. I wanted to flash another ROM and try but it isnt getting rooted via CASUAL anymore as the hack pack doesn't detect my phone. Please help. I'm stuck without notifications. Someone please tell me how to go back to even stock firefly and root again. The ROM I'm using is made by oppo only so I have no idea what to do.
Update
Rooted using framaroot, put cwm, flashed cm10.1, still no speakers, ringtones, tactile feedback or notifications. please guys help me out.

Volume changes issue

I know of someone that has the N910F model (stock rom: N910FXXU1COL1 ) , and she complains about volume keeps getting change on random times.
Is this issue known? What could cause this?
Is there maybe a rom that's debloated, and can be flashed via Odin without triggering anything (knox etc...) ? Something that might not have this issue?

do the volume sliders change aswell or is it just the sound fluctuating at same level? i saw a note 4...its volume kept fluctuating while it was ringing (this was hardware issue) but you can try factory reset...and if it does not work then try a different stock rom from sammobile

The sliders do not change their position. They stay at max.

none sticking ringtones

I have updated to the latest OxygenOS and I think since then I haven't been able to make a custom ringtone or notification tone stick.
I 1st noticed then when I got a phone call today and it was the stock oneplus tone. Tried to change it but it would still use the same tone.
I tried booting into safe mode but still the same issue.
I select a custom tone, phone rings stock tone and sets it back to stock.
Anyone else with this problem? I don't want to flash back to previous OxygenOS as I will loose my data?
Thanks
