Hey, I'm just wondering if there is any way to flash a vendor file without fastboot? I forgot my USB-C cable an am out of town until Friday, but I'd like to flash a rom.

There's a flashable zip in the Pure Nexus thread.

Hello XDA
Im just wondering if anyone can create a CWM 6.0.2.3 Recovery Flashable Zip that can be flash via Recovery..
Coz for I do test some custom cwm touch recovery, but to be able to revert back to Official CWMR 6.0.2.3, I have to flash the .IMG via PC (Fastboot Mode).
If anyone can provide us with a Flashable zip with ClockWorkMod Recovery that would be cool and I would be greatful to the one who provide it..
THanks and have a nice day..
Why not use ROM manager?
You can't flash a recovery image when in recovery as it's in use - you can only use fastboot (or ROM Manager if you REALLY want to)

Ow.. Thanks for that valuable information, though, I tried to flash a custom CWM touch recovery which was posted here, and there's a flashable zip available, I tried that and flash it via Official CWM Recovery it flashes without any problems,
Still, Fastboot flashing is no problem for me, is just that, It happens to me one time that cant access my PC, then thought of and hoping there's a flashable zip of cwmr without any modifications just like the Official .IMG
Thanks for the reply.
EDIT:
And as for the ROM Manager, I think its a paid app, and I only buy paid apps If I always use that app.

In which case I stand corrected, I didn't think it was possible to flash another recovery when the existing one is running. Seems like a bit of a security loophole IMO!

Use an OTG adaptor to access to USB thumb drive connect to Nexus 4.
I have same set up when used TWRP 2.4.4 on Samsung Nexus, and ASUS TF300t; on both devices TWRP recognizes SD card external via OTG without problem.
On Nexus 4, when plug in, or turn it to fastboot, recovery mode, the light on USB thumb drive does not blink. after get in TWRP it will not mount external drive.
Any help?

I didn't "dig up" the thread. I was looking for information on CWM Recovery custom ROMs and while reading this (among others) thread looking for the info, I saw your post. Since you aren't man enough to delete your inaccurate comment, I felt it important to decry it so others don't heed your ignorant assertion.
Why should I delete it? I was corrected, I admitted as such and that is more manly than leaving a post saying 'deleted' in it don't you think? I can easily admit when I'm wrong and this was one of those times

so i could flash this (https://s.basketbuild.com/filedl/devs?dev=Tassadar&dl=Tassadar/stock_zips/lrx21t_mako.zip) like an OTA update with adb sideload and all my userdata would stay?
Background
This is a list of radios for the Nexus 6 (shamu). With the new OTA release, some people may have better signals with the old radio or want to tinker with the new one so here is a list that will be updated to allow users to switch to their preferred radio/modem.
Radios are independent of Android version, use the radio that provides you the best signal. It varies from user to user, there is no best radio/modem Why? Different carriers, different locations, and more. There are so many factors that play into cellular signal so just because a particular radio is the best for someone doesn't mean its the best for you. We can obtain a consensus on which radio performs the "best" for the largest % of users though.
How to Flash?
1) Fastboot: Download the .img file below then flash it using Fastboot.
Code:
fastboot flash radio radio.img

No. Fastboot is only for the computer.
I'll have to do flashable zips later, if someone beats me to it I'll include it in OP and give credits.
Currently preparing for finals and this is all the time I have for now.
You'd need to write the radio to /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/modem via updater-script.
I thought it was "fastboot flash radio radio.img" ? (that's what I used)

Rename the file you downloaded from OP to "radio.img" (ensure its not actually radio.img.img).
Or type fastboot flash radio the-whole-radio-name.img. I personally rename to radio as its easier for me to type.

Yeah, I did the whole location+name, but in the OP you have "fastboot flash modem <name-of-modem>.bin" I wasn't sure if I was missing something, as I've never seen a .bin referenced. Hopefully this doesn't come off as being an asshole, I was just genuinely curious.

Oh you're right, I copy pasted the modem collection OP i had from the OnePlus One which they use .bin. I changed the extension to .img.
Sorry about that! its fixed now. And you're not being a... "you know", no need for me to say it as XDA doesn't appreciate that language
But yeah for <name-of-modem> is just a placeholder for depending what the user selects as a radio.

Well I'm now soft bricked and don't know what to do. I used the "fastboot flash modem [modem name].img" command. I now realized from reading other threads I'm supposed to use "fastboot flash radio [radio name].img".
What do I do? The image fully flashed and now when I reboot it stick on the four colors swirling around splash screen just before boot up. I'm guessing there isn't a "modem" section for shamu? Just radio...
I tried going into TWRP and wiping cache. It says "E: Unable to mount '/firmware'".

I had the same problem with /firmware. I seem to just ignore it.
Go into fastboot and then just reflash the radio using fastboot flash radio radio.img and then reboot. If that doesn't work go back into TWRP and wipe Cache and Dalvik and then your phone should start up as it rebuilds the cache.
So far the flashable zips in the typical method I use are not sticking when it comes to the flashable zips.

Don't think you can use Flashify, that's for Zips, Recoveries and Boot Images ( Kernels )
You can use Fastboot, or if you're not comfortable with that you could use Wug's Toolkit and just download the latest modem to your PC and select Flash Modem under Advanced settings.... Select your downloaded modem file and within 1 minute the Toolkit will do it all for you.

You can't flash the radio using flashify.
The new base band ends with. 04R if it says that then you're on the newest radio.

I'm wondering how can I flash this kernel, cause once I download it from GitHub it's a folder not a.img.

Go to Arter97's post in the "ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, Other..." section, where you can click the "Arter97" link that will take you to the right place.
From that link you should be at the "aura" folder. From there, go to kernels, then to latest([r9] as of this reply) folder and download the img file, not the zip.
For every update after that, grab the zip and flash it in TWRP. You should also make sure your bootloader is unlocked as per the Razer Dev site's instructions and that you've used their official PIE MR1 firmware images to convert your phone to the global variant from whatever brand yours is.

Don't take this wrong, but if you are asking "How to fastboot", i would not do anything at the moment. Search XDA or Google for that matter and learn about fastboot, and what you are doing when you perform fastboot commands. You can mess up your device rather quickly, then you will be asking why and how to fix. Take a couple days and understand what we mean when we say fastboot flash xxxxxxxx. These commands are basically flashing files like the OS, boot system, etc. I am not a dev nor do i know all the system partitions and all the proper or technical lingo. But i do know if you flash the wrong img/file from the wrong device or for another device, it will bork your device.
Again, not trying to bash, but asking this question will not get many replies, if any at all, especially how to perform a fastboot command. Do the research, then you can read on the device thread, for your device, and understand what is meant.

Well, it might be a very noob question, but I'm stuck:
1. I download the zip but I can't install it from TWRP. I get an error without any details. How is this supposed to be used??
2. I'd like only to reflash my boot partition to the stock (completely uninstall magisk). I was under the impression that when I'll flash the rom, I'll be able to choose which partitions to flash. But I guess it doesn't work like that..
Is it possible to get boot.img from that rom? Or I need specifically boot.img for that version? And if so, where can I find it??
Thanks!
