Best kernel for stock rom?

I prefer balanced battery and peformance. Please advice. Thanks
All kernels work differently for different people. Try a bunch and see what works.

Franco kernel lets you overclock the gpu to what ever you want (416-750 and anything in between) so with that in mind you can create your own balance of battery vs performnce.
You cant overclock cpu but honestly it isnt needed.
Also with his latest release r25 th whol devive is much more responsive. Touchscreen etc.

[Q] Which governor does the Nexus 4 use by default?

I thought that Google used Interactive with "project butter" enhancements. However, when running stock, I checked an app and saw that it was running Ondemand instead of Interactive. Was this changed for the Nexus 4??
Someone must know this or at least verify what I'm seeing!

I believe most nexus devices come with a kernel that is on demand.
Here is a nice guide about governors http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2017715

Nexus 4 battery vs other 2100 Mh battries.

I always wonder why gs3's battery last more than N4 ? both are 2100 mah.
is their any reason like optimization or other thing ?
will it get fixed in future updates ?
Thanks.

Riptide GP2 frame rate issues?

I searched but did but see anything.... I'm having serious frame rate issues on my N4, even after rebooting and lowering my graphics settings. Now, on my first gen N7, it runs great! So, I was just wondering if I was alone or not. Any tips or help would be great too.

Are you underclocking or undervolting at all? I am and I notice short moments of lag.

I am experiencing great performance with all graphic maxed out. I am on franco kernel with hotplug threshold set to 0, rom is saber mod. No OC.

I am completely stock. Kinda bummed as it's a great game, just not on my N4! Oh well, I am lucky to have a tablet too (N7) and it runs the game well.
