Title explains it pretty well, I don't have a desktop currently and want to go back to stock. I've looked all over for a twrp-able zip with the stock 5 or 6 fw, but haven't been able to find anything. Has anyone else came across this anywhere? I realize I should have made a backup of the stock fw, but hindsight's 20/20.

Bump .. I would like this as well .. Need Marshmallow stock (rooted) flash via TWRP . Anyone ?

hey guys.
i have already noted on another thread that i was looking for a cwm flashable, stock but rooted 4.4. apparently there isnt one yet apart from the ones people have tried to create themselves.
i then realised though that i should check my bootloader incase it was of importance when i manage to find the above file to flash.
i am on bootloader 3.41 and android 4.3. would this matter when i find the right stock rom?
thanks
Just flash stock 4.4 and root it later.
i found a stock one as suggested in one of the threads on here and flashed via cwm. all went well and i then re rooted.
i have, however, noticed that the system seems more sluggish and even when restarting, it takes longer to get everything such as widgets to display on screen.
hi guys.
again i am looking for a stock rooted 4.4.2 as it is annoying me to keep being reminded to update from 4.4.
i can either do as before and get a stock 4.4.2 and root myself unless anyone is aware of a stock rooted rom?
thanks
Check out this thread it may have what you need http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2529136

Odin.
It will let you flash back to the stock ROM. If you are on the 4.4 bootloader though you can only go back so far. You can't go back to 4.2. I'm not sure about 4.3.
You can also restore the Nandroid backup of your stock rom that you should have made before you flashed CyanogenMod

You need to use the search feature here on xda. This is probably the single most covered topic in Samsung forums. There are dozens of very detailed guides on odin and how to use it.
There is even one stickied to the help posts at the top of this forum.
I know that there is thread about going back on stock, but really need your help. I'm lost. I rooted my G2, and got brand new G3. Now I wanna give G2 to friend but want to unroot and go back to stock.
At least, just give her stock.
Now, when I go to links for files, I'm lost. My G2 is D802 unlocked international version, so WHICH FILE TO DOWNLOAD? Please help me.
This was easy before, cause I had Nexus 4 and 5, and it was just download file and flash it via recovery, and if it is possible to do that, without unroot, thats easy, and enough, but still have no idea what file to get. Please help. Tnx
I have TWRP and CM11 atm

You can flash this in recovery. If your from a different region though you'll have 4g issues though.
Or if you want to go back to full stock unrooted you can use this to find your firmware
i was wondering if there is a flashable halo zip separate from flashing a new rom.
im on rooted lollipop 5.0 so safestrap isnt an option but i was thinking odin could be another way of doing this.
i found this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...scontinued-mod-please-lock-flashable-t2280144
seems to be what im talking about , im not sure how to back up my current system without safestrap. Which is why i haven't tried this method yet.
if anyone has some info on another way to back my system up before trying this and or another method all together it would be much appreciated.
ive used xpose and floating notification in the past but really enjoy the ui of halo which is why i would prefer flashing halo instead of using a similar alternative.
thanks in advance!

How can you be rooted lollipop without safestrap? I thought that was the only way to get to lollipop. If you flash back and install safestrap you can use it to backup your system.
I miss spoke I have safestrap but being on lollipop its non functional. (For now )
If I can't find a flashable zip of halo there's really no point to downgrade and backup my phone. Unless you're saying it's possible to have a functional safestrap on 5.0.
I'm not sure the link I put down is compatable with the Verizon galaxy s5. Was hoping someone could confirm it that knows more than me.

To backup your lollipop system just flash the ncg or NI2 kernel, boot into safestrap, backup your system, boot back into download mode and flash your oa8 kernel and boot back up to lollipop. Be a good idea to do so any way just in case something happens.
