Is it possible to boot and not brick the device after flashing v10 ro on v20 stock?
As I read, there is recovery boot problem on v10, and sometimes it takes few tries to boot it, but on v20 it works almost everytime.
So i was thinking if V20 + V10 based rom + V10 baseband, will work?
I was thinking about using MIUI (v5 i think) based on Cm10, which need stock v10k
Additional question: Can I use TWRP 2.8.7.0 with V10k?

Anybody know if there is a fix or solution to this situation? :
Installed Pardus HD Rom on My LG G2 32gb D802 and then flashed through TWRP 2.7.0.0
[MOD] XCam LG v5.0.0 [G2/GPro2/G3] >> xdabbeb_camera_binaries_v1.0.0g2.zip
After that my system hasnt booted up, its stucked in bootloop kid of. Sometimes it was saying proccess android.systemui was stopped or in most cases it was just in bootloop. As a result i had to use recovery and get back to previous ROM (CM M9)
Any idea whats going on ?

Pardus is heavily modified, lots of stuff can go wrong. If you see the original XCam thread, there is a way to take a logcat and see it, but as you said you have gone back to CM. Try Cloudyfa's ROMS, expecially the new G3 one, pretty good, better than CM in my opinion even thou I am staunch advocate of AOSP. Also, read and re-read to make sure you know what you are getting into.
Hi,
I am a Android newbie and have Korean LG G2 F320L. And I want to install custom Paranoid ROM.
But the links I have found so far are for international models D801, D802, D803 etc. So can I install these ROMs on my Korean phone ? and if not, any one knows from where can I get the Paranoid ROM for the Korean G2 F320L ?
One more thing, in terms of security and any malware/spyware threat which ROM is better one :
Paranoid
Cyanogenmod
?
Thanks,
Wasim

Any help please......
I'm skeptical about trying non-official LG based roms due to the suddenly bumped, black-lines-on-screen hype.
I'm running Cloudy G3 rom on my LG G2 F320L (contains all the essentials I want but gagged on customization).
For the case of installing cyanogenmod / PA (KitKat based roms), I think you will have to flash F32L Baseband before flashing any of those roms. (Probably modify updater-script in meta info of the rom in case you are barred from Flashing the zip file due to your phone being F320 and not D80x).
In terms of security, official rom will work for you, there are not that much perks of CM/PA over official to me as an end-user. Before G2, I had Optimus G F180 before and I loved look, feel and customizability of Cyanogenmod 11 (MOKEE). PA is no different with tad bit more utility perks.

I am newbie to Android and custom ROM business....but have technical background....so my reason of looking for custom ROM is the performance I am getting on mine G2. I think my iPhone 4S was much more snappy than G2 and it was even 50% of hardware what G2 has. So thats why I want to have Stock Android ROM to get rid of any unnecessary stuff and improve the performance.
Could you please suggest any valid tutorial to follow to install good Stock Android ROM on my F320L G2 ?
Thanks,
Wasim
enable developer tools by going to Settings > about phone > software info > and click software version 6 times.
Then go to settings > Developer Tools > Enable USB Debugging
Root your phone using ioroot method (connect your phone to ur PC first and make sure u have correct drivers installed)
Install AutoRec software (Make sure you have correct phone model, which is F320L in your case). http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2715496
Dont run AutoRec yet, download KK Baseband file for your phone from here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=12880
Download Cyanogenmod flashable zip + gapps. Put all 3 zip files on your SD Card
Run AutoRec software (Not sure but connect ur phone to internet over wifi), Install recovery > reboot into recovery
Now in Recovery goto Wipe > Swipe to wipe (Factory Reset)
Go back > Install Zip
Install zips in this order
KK BaseBand > CM > Gapps
wipe/Factory Reset again and Reboot. Hopefully you will have a working Cyanogenmod bootup.
Then Install Zip
So I follow the instruction, flashed the bumped bootstack, the resurrection remix rom and recommended gapps, but no matter how many times I tried, the phone simply hangs at LG logo. Does anyone knows what the issue might be? Oh, my model is d800.
On d800 you need the loki LP bootstack, but be sure to flash back to bumped before you flash a stock based rom like cloudy

I have tried using loki lp bootstack but when I do I just get an error message when flashing the rr rom zip.
Make sure you have the 5.5.5 version. It is NOT at the bottom of the list on afh. 5.5.5 will not error
Ok for some reason canada always gets the shaft for custom roms.well i have been flashing d855 roms on my d852 since the lg g3 came out.well i notice all the custom roms on marshmallow so i decided to experiment. So there are custom mm kernels for our d852 but no roms.now this sounds crazy but all the stock kernel would not boot my phone.only fastboot mode.I decided to flash aosp nebula kernel Rev 12.3 on Fulmics 3.5 stock marshmallow rom and it booted.I chose d855 in aroma and flashed flashed the nebula kernel.I flashed multiple d855 mm roms withe d852 nebula kernel and all booted with no issues.Enjoy

Sorry guys.on a couple roms you loose baseband so you need to flash the rogers lp modem.Yes it actually works.full lte with data working
Just curious if anyone eslse has tried my methods?Works well with Tizen rom V5 marshmallow.choose d855 in aroma.flash.then untick reboot device enorder to go back to twrp(2.8.7 by the way)wipe all catches then flash the nebula kernel then your baseband or modem then reboot. All works with no issues yet.nothing broken.Only sharing my own experience and experimenting.Flash at own risk
You are courageous and bold. I am going to wait for the official version before I try. I did have CM13 for a while but wanted the stock experience to test out the banking touch and pay thingy. I have heard and seen too much trouble with reckless experimentation. kudos to you for taking the chances and finding a solution.
I've tried this method and it works fine. I usually do it with the d851.
However, BlackSoulsxxx just put out his d852 port recently. I've been using it for 2 days now, no problems. Smoother than ever.

That's strange that you would encounter these problems. I have the same model (the D852) and I flashed a nightly of CM 13 on my phone and so far, everything is working. The only issue I've experienced is that sometimes, when a call is coming in, I don't notice it happening at all. After the call goes to voicemail, I got notified about a new voicemail message, but in my call history, I don't see the missed call. Aside from that, data, calling and all the other usual stuff seems to work fine.

First post, under the downloads section. It's hidden under the changelog. Took me a moment to find it as well.
whenever i try to flash any nougat rom on my lg g2 d800 the phone goes to the lg logo and then its just a black screen so it does not actually boot into android plz help me
This is the wrong way. First go to the rom thread you tried to install and search the thread for your problem (I bet you're not the only one) or ask the dev directly. Thats easier for you and the devs. All Nougat roms you can get atm are experimental and they are not bug free. Every response helps the devs to build a better Android.
For crDroid you have to flash Lambda-Infinito-Nougat-Beta-N9-D800-12072016.zip and it will boot.
