Well, i listen to Samsung milk during commute via bluetooth audio.
I accidentally found out that once i select bluetooth audio in my car, the phone starts Samsung milk automagically.
I dont know if it is Samsung feature or all phones start a default app to play audio.
To me it is was a welcome surprise.
Milk feature? not common on all device
My toyota tacoma work truck will automatically start whatever media app i have open when it connects. I download audio torrents and play them with es file explorer media player. Sometimes it will start it where i left off sometimes it will start the file from the beginning

Does this thing multitask? If I open any browser and play music from a website, then open another tab, the music stops from the first tab with msg "stopping audio player". If I play music from Sirius App and minimize to start browsing, the music stops with msg "stopping audio player". My SII phone works fine, but the tab won't let me play Sirius app and browse at the same time.
Interesting, sounds like an issue with sirius. Of course the tablet should multi task though.

Any music website stops playing when I open another tab. It doesn't matter which browser I use, I've tried them all.
Then use Pandora. Its an app and it never stops playing.
Have you tried a different browser? I don't think that will work but it is worth a shot. Also, I think that browsers were made to work this way (When browsing another page all tasks on the current tab is paused) to keep memory and CPU usage down when browsing.
It makes sense, not sure if that is 100% correct though.
Siriusxm app android "stopping audio player" when minimizing!?!?
I have the same issue, but it is with the siriusxm android app and not a browser, on my samsung galaxy s3. As soon as I minimize, I get the message "stopping audio player". I have ATK but I have siriusxm as an ignore app, so that it is not forced closed. There is no setting on the siriusxm app that allows for any multitasking option. My default android music player can play in the background as I play a game or browse the internet, but the siriusxm app shuts down as I minimize it..... frustrating!
Anyone else having this issue, and what could be the cause and/or solution? Thanks in advance
UPDATE ----
Found the fix in another forum, under Settings - Developer Options - Do not keep activities, just uncheck and restart ----- BOOM it works, yeah!! Thx for the reply necktru!
In my P3110, the application of music stops just open another audio source, whether for web or aplicaccion youtube, I tried to PowerAMP and the Apollo, and all feel the same, and is only for the issue of multiple audio applications
This is mainly an issue with Bluetooth and plugging in headphones. For example....When I connect to my phone with Ford SYNC it automatically uses Samsung Music as the default player and starts to cycle through my saved ringtones. Very annoying as I have to physically open Google Play Music on the phone and start my selected playlist manually.
Is there any way around this? Play Music is the default player for all music types I have on the phone but that doesn't seem to matter either.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Remove it using titanium back app but u need to root first.

That's the problem. If I root I lose Sky Go so not an option.
I am commuting every day and using Waze app for traffic. I also connect my Nexus 4 to the AUX port of my car for music. Since the Waze app is always on, I need to pull the notification bar down to reach the music controls. However, the buttons are very small and due to the distraction it is actually dangerous trying to select the next track. Is there a better way to control the music player in this situation? An app would let me say a voice command to change the song I am listening and so on? Thanks!
Overlays
I haven't found a perfect solution, but I downloaded "Overlays" from the play store.
I use Rocket Player, so I created a profile that overlays one of the Rocket Player Widgets over the Waze App while it's running. It's not ideal, but it's better than me having to drop down menu, similar to yours.
Ideally I'd like Waze to interact with my player so I can use it hands free.
Hope this helps!
First of all I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read/respond to my post. I have an unrooted Note 3.
My issue is when I use my jaybird bluebuds x or monster isport freedom bluetooth headsets with my Note 3 the next track buttons do not work. Well.. let me rephrase that. When I hit the next track button is launches the samsung music app and skips that track.
So the button is being registered but it's not working for the active player. Like if I'm listening to pandora and hit next track then the samsung music app launches and skips that track instead.
Is there any way to force (using tasker or something without rooting) the phone/headset to recognize the current active music player instead of the default samsung player?
Thanks in advance for your help!!
It's more likely the app doesn't recognize headset controls.
I've never had stock music player pop up when using the controls with N7player. But it has a menu for headset controls...

Disable the Samsung player in Settings and try? I usually always keep the default apps all disabled and use PowerAMP for my music, never fails me when I use my BlueBuds X.

How do I disable the samsung player in settings? Are you referring to settings for bluebuds bluetooth, cuz I didn't know you could specify specific aps.
I prefer to stream my music so I don't have to organize my music. That's why I use pandora/slacker and not PowerAMP. Thanks though.

Your phone settings. Manage Apps, All, find your music player, click on it, Disable.

I'm looking for a standalone music player app for Android Wear with Equalizer!
I'd like to listen to music on my Bluetooth headphone without my phone. (just music on my watch + headphone)
I found an app for this, which is called "Wear Media - Music Gallery". It works perfectly, but sounds awful. No EQ settings in the app at all.
So I'm looking for something similar to Wear Media with EQ settings option!
OR:
I'm looking for a standalone headphone Equalizer app for Android Wear that I could use for any music player apps. I found one on Google Play that is called "Headphones Equalizer by ManyThingsDev", but it seems like a big lie. It says it has full support for Android Wear. No it doesn't. It doesn't even appear on my watch in the list of apps, nor in the Google Play section of my watch as an installable app.
So a real, working, standalone EQ app for the watch would be nice. If anyone knows one, please let me know!
Hi,
I've never seen any wear app with equalizer.
I'm using Musio and the sound is quite good, i.e. the same than with my Smartphone through Bluetooth.
