So what's the deal with wallpapers???

So what's the deal with getting wallpapers to display right?? I went to a few sites and have downloaded wallpapers that are the correct resolution but they don't look good. I downloaded wallpaper wizardrii cause I use that on my S3, no luck.
I wanna take advantage of this sick ass screen with some high def goodness!!! Help.

homescreen wallpaper sucks

Has anyone figured out how to set a picture as wallpaper without it being all zoomed in and crappy looking? This is really annoying and the phone doesn't seem to have many options for fixing this

Use a HIGHER res picture! This will solve the issue!

I use the app "Wallpaper Wizardrii" and it usually solves all of my wallpaper woes.

This worked perfect thanks! I didn't think a 5mp picture from my old phone was too low of a resolution but also the stock photo crop tool when setting wallpaper sucks!

1080x1920 Galaxy S 4 Wallpapers

I realize this is a new phone but are there any good wallpapers for our screen resolution yet? I can't seem to find any at this resolution!!

Get Wallbase from the market and Simple Image Wallpaper Free. Simple Image is set as a live wallpaper so you'll have to check under Live Wallpapers. Use it to set the 1920x1080 wallpapers you find in Wallbase. There are more options in Simple Image.

The actual size for scrolling wallpapers is 1920 x 1920

Actually, it's 2160x1920 = 1.13:1 (wide)... 1920x1920 = 1:1 (square) which is not ideal for a phone.

I have noticed the same, tomorrow I think I have a pretty clear day, I will see if I can't whip up some custom galaxy s4 wallpapers. Stay tuned as I will be posting them in this thread!

BTW.. i think if you use not scroll wallpaper it should be 960x ????
Edit: 1920 is to tall. Gallery will crop.

Non scroll is 1080x1920.

2160 X 1920 for scrolling wallpapers. J have a zip file at home with about 400 nice wallpapers. I will upload them somewhere in a couple days

Try the below site. Pick the 2560x1920 size. Right height, just crops the sides when selecting the wallpaper.

The .zip file is way too large to attach here. It's nearly 100MB.

Not sure if it's what anyone is looking for, but I took this picture with my S4 the other day and am using it as my home screen wallpaper.
I love it at least.

Help raskat

I use raskat but i don't love the black background because nexus 5 isn't amoled. Anybody can create form me 1 zip to flash into recovery for return to gray stock?

He might be talking about the removal of the gradient "texture"(for lack of a better term) and wanting it back... maybe.

On Rastakat which is a ROM. Rascarlo (developer) made the background gradient of the Settings to be black instead of the "Holo" black/blueish background. http://dl.xda-developers.com/attach.../9/5/7/2/0/uploadfromtaptalk1384617447070.jpg
See how its all black? He wants the gradient back is what the OP wanted.
