Maybe Bricked Wizard

Yesterday was installing the drivers for the Redfly viewer on my XDA Mini. When the drivers had finished installing, the device soft reset and wouldn't get past the O2 splash screen. I've been browsing the web for possible solutions but haven't found a definiative answer. Can anybody give me some advice to possible fix my XDA?

This will erase all data and restore your phone to factory default settings.
Hard reset sequence: Press VoiceDial button + Comm Manager button + soft reset.
nah, it hasn't done anything still stuck on O2 splash screen. Thanks anyway

Click to collapse
Fixed it, then you need to keep holding down the two buttons while pushing the d-pad, then when prompted pushing the talk button

Display Turn Off but Not turning on

Hi,
I'm running the LEO Desire ROM, for the pass couple day this issue is driving me nut.
Whem I making a phone call and place the phone to my ear the screen would turn off, but when i take it away to press key the screen stay dark, i tried the home key, back key, call key, end key it will not turn on until later, it just turn the screen back on by itself.
I have reset it to default setting to see if i accidentally set something wrong but still having the same problem.
Boot into MAGLDR and then into CWM and make a Nandroid backup using backup and restore. Then boot back into MAGLDR and do a hard reset with option #7 then boot into CWM again and go to backup and restore and go to advanced restore and restore your data and cache. This might help you out.

Best way to reset my phone

Hey guys I just wanted to know what is the best method to fully reset my phone. Should i use the reset option under settings, or the one on the restore menu (home, power, up)?
Thanks
Better go with Recovery (Power+Home+Vol.UP)

Restore S4 to stock and remove hidden data files?

I have a galaxy s4 9505.
I have rooted GOOGLE EDITION 4.4.4 by Danvdh, Kryten2k35 & Ktoonsez
I attempted various (failed) back up attempts that fill the the interal memory with hidden files
--> I want to restore my phone to the stock Samsung installation and remove EVERYTHING else. A complete factory reset. Then I'll decide where to take it from there, but right now my phone is full of unwanted data files and an android installation that doesn't work very well.
My questions:
How do i wipe everything including hidden files?
is there a guide that fits my problem?
are there things i need to be careful/worry about?
It's Easy !
It's Easy All What you get to do is :
Turn the phone off.
Press and hold VOLUME UP and Home (middle) button
Press Power until the phone vibrate
Wait until you see the Android logo then release all the buttons.
Select Wipe data/Factory reset with VOLUME DOWN, press Power (right hand-side)
Select YES -- delete all user data with VOLUME DOWN and then press Power
After format, press Power again to reboot phone. (select reboot system now)
Thx guys
I'm using Philz touch 6 clockwork mod bootloader so not the original boot loader. Don't i need to load a rom or something to return it to the samsung rom-version? I isn't that rom-data gone or is it hidden somewhere as a backup restore??
factory reset + load 2.½gb original image w. Odin 1.85
I finally did it. The two replies to my post here were as I expected WRONG. I did need a factory reset, but I also needed to find the original samsung image for northern european countries and load it with odin 1.85.

Help resetting on oneui 3.1

Hi. I'm using s10 5g running android 11. After updating to android 11 my phone does lag a lot so i decided to reset my phone. Since my power button is broken so i can only reset via Settings. I have something to ask you:
My Secure Folder contains a lot of files, can i reset without losing them?
Will resetting solve my lag? apps even reset when I back to home, use other app and back to that app. it also takes me up to ~10s from tapping shutter button to taking pic. Camera sometimes out when swipe to "other modes".
Which section in reset in settings equivatlent to factory reset/wipe /cache, dalvik and wipe /data? I previously use TWRP to reset but i cant now (broken power button). Resetting options of samsung really confuse me.
Can reset in Settings be done without power button?
Thank you
