i own note 4 910c, after 5.1.1 update ive got this issue:
my stock keyboard got hebrew and english and everytime i write a massage in hebrew, when i hit
send, the keyboard automaticly switch to english again.
actions ive taken:
* clean cache
* reset\clear data\clear cache samsung keyboard from app manager
if i use swiftky everything is ok but i just love the samsung stock keyboard.

Did you try downloading the right language or disable the English language in the keyboard settings?

ive tried that but the minute i choose to get english back as a second keyboard the issue returns
i think its only because of hebrew cause when i try english and deutsch its flawless

I am trying to use my keyboard to enter german text into an sms or email and it keeps correcting my "im" to "I'm". Is there any way to make it use a german dictionary instead of the default english one? This works for transcriber if I install the german version supplied by Microsoft but I really need this for the keyboard too .... anyone have an idea how to solve this?

I searched the internet, but I don't find any working solution. I changed the registry, installed ezinput (after this the htc was frozen),...
I want to keep the language (Dutch) but not the keyboard layout (qwerty). It should be AZERTY. How can I do that on this device? Is their a rom/app that can perform this for me?

just choose your language as dutch and it changes the keyboard layout

from experience it's a very good keyboard, even has abilities to cut, copy, paste, undo, etc.

from another post -> simply select the arrow near the keyboard and select french, but remember xt9 will also be in french so disable it!

Yep, that's the problem, the goal is to keep XT9... unfortunately no solution exists so far, I'm in the same case, for some reason HTC thinks that French = AZERTY keyboard... mine is QWERTZ, thanks...

I did it as follow:
*I installed this rom: Leopat 1.4 Nld with Cookies Hometab
*I Changed the keyboard to french
*I Changed this in the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\LdbFiles]
"010c"="NLlsUN_xt9.ldb"
And now I have a dutch HTC with AZERTY . I took couples of hours to find those simple steps. Belgian people will be happy
Hmm, I tried that before, and it didn't work... but now it seems to? Weird.
Anyway XT9 still has a long way to go before it gets really useable, most of the time it doesn't even get it right if you type one wrong letter (neighbouring one) in a 6 letter word, and gives no suggestion...
Dammz... I flashed my HTC and did what I said above but xt9 stays french...
I searched hours for a solution without any luck.
Is it that hard to make xt9 dutch when using the french keyboard (azerty)?
when i installed the arabic on the phone that came with my rom, and even after i changed it to english with arabic support it still shows many many arabic names here and there, can anyone help me to change the arabic menues to english again?
you can go to
Arabiser app>control tab>choose "English with Arabic enabled "
im using mobidiv 416 and its working fine

Just upgraded from a Htc magic to a HTC Legend and found something that bothers me..
when i choose english menu language the XT9 dictionary for my sms switches to english too and i can't turn it to my desired language (in this case swedish)
when i check the menu for switching to any other language for my xt9 i can't find any other than english no matter what menu language i use.
But the strange thing is that if i choose swedish menu language, the XT9 also changes to swedish.
so is there any way for me to use english language in the menus and still have the XT9 set to swedish?
i have a non-rooted, non-branded Htc Legend bought at 3-stores in Sweden..

Installed am Czech language everything with no errors!!!!
Instalation manual:
1.instal cab. opencz_settings.......
2.instal cab. htc_proton_wm...
3.restart phone
4.Selection language
5.instal language
what languages does it contain, please?

FYI every HD mini ever being sold in Czech Republic already contains Czech language by default (unless bought in other country), theres no reason to do this harakirri, simply choose Czech language instead of English by first time HTC Sense setup, same goes for whole eastern Europe, Poland, Slovak, Hungarian, Slovenian etc etc. If you bought the phone and it already was preinstalled in english, simply run the Sense setup again and choose whatever language u want, its not a matter of phone being localized or not but a matter of HTC Sense being localized. I've sold hundrets of these phones and every single piece had it.
