Hi guys,
My stock weather background is without animation for a while now. When entering the weather screen (after pressing on the widget) the backgtound flickers a bit, like it's starting the animation, but then it just shows the pic. Otherwise, the weather widget works fine. I'm on stock Lollipop, unrooted.
Does anybody know if there's a solution for this?

Nope, nothing yet...
I am having the same problem after updating to 5.1.1 (T-Mobile), this is so annoying
I did a factory reset and tried just after first boot. Still no animation. 5.1.1 XEO

Hi,
I installed Jack's latest Full ROM and that 2nd today is really bugging me.
I can't get to the config/settings page for it and it's a completely useless blank screen at the moment.
I've tried long-tap to see if a menu comes up, and I've looked through all the settings and programs folders... Can someone help direct me to the settings?!

Flash to an earlier version.
Is there really no way of getting to the settings any other way than to just reflash to another version???

post in the forum where you downloaded him or try messaging the ROM creator directly might help

flash a splashscreen, just like flashing a rom, but no hard reset required.

i suspect you installed the cab, not flashed the bootscreen, , , , its a multi image process, first the bootscreen, then the roms loading animation, then the welcome screen, and you only need to change the bootscreen, which is an nbh file, the other two parts are cabs.
You need the first part, the HD2 Splash Screen V2.zip from part A
actually, ive just thought, i havent read anything from tmous users flashing splash screens, i doubt theres a difference, but maybe best to hold off, , ,, please be careful!

The shut down can be changed by a reg setting like the boot animation by looking here HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation and look for shut down gif

I've flashed the polish version of 4.4.2 yesterday and now my sound doesn't work..
also videos won't play and I can't play music files also if I change the volume of my phone it freezes,
after a couple of seconds it changes the volume and it is normal again.
and i experience random freezes.
I have a SM-N9005 note
baseband UBMJ2
What did I do wrong??

Can I just ask what region you are in currently? I believe NEE versions have issues with Sound and Calling from the Polish version.

I live in the netherlands so in europe.

What do you exactly mean?
If it is a full wipe and flash again did it numerous times no changes.

Sound issue is still there...
The dialer app gives a black screen when opening it
Also the freezes when adjusting the sound are still there
I cant watch videos neither play music.

Seems you have the same version as another user, @nex7er has the same issue as you, it cannot be fixed currently as far as I know, I have tagged him in this post. lets see if he replies and if he has managed a fix

Yup I agree, phone is a nightmare for us users currently, If nex7er doesn't reply, you may have to bring it back in for service I'm afraid OR have to wait until Official kitkat is available for your region

Just a fix currently, Once the official for your region Rolls out it'll probably be sorted.

I think that's what it is, lucky or not lucky. Really strange all that different experiences.
As you all know after updating your device stock browser is replaced with chrome. I want my stock browser back cause it's kinda simple and I like it. Is there any way to install the app back somehow. I tried to download app from one page but it seems that it is for the P8 version only cause it crashes like crazy. Any info guys? Thanks in advance!
