Hello Guys,
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 4 SM-N916S Exynos Version
I just want to know if we can use different firmware on my SM-N916S, because the camera shutter doesnt have any toggle to turn on or off, its always ON, i've tried to Mute the phone completely and it still has the shutter sound on it. Anyone knows if we can use other firmware from sammobile.com?
Thanks in Advance!

Hey guys, I haven't been on here in a while so I don't know if anyone knows this or not. So my Galaxy S 2 is unrooted, untampered , nothing done to it at all. The other day I discovered that if you turn the volume down till the phone is on vibrate, it mutes all camera sounds, shutter, beeps etc...
I got mine from expansys-usa and it came with KE4 which i'm still running.

I know most users here already have their phones rooted, but can the rest who haven't rooted please confirm this on other firmwares.
Also mutes if I turn off my 'system' volume in settings on KF3
Not working on Vodafone branded KE5, with no root.
working on KF3 INU version rooted........its quite silent even while taking snaps......
I am also using Vodafone stock version.. doesn't work... am also looking for a way to mute the camera and focus sound...
KE2 not working
hey guys,
i saw a video of the galaxy s3, where the phone automatically calls someone, when you put the phone to your ear from the text message screen.
that doesn't seem to be working on my telus S III.
anyone know why?
You have to enable it.

Enable it at Settings, Motion, check Motion activation and then turn on direct call.
And you have to be using the stock messaging app.

Does anyone else suffer with this issue? I have had an s4, and note 3 so I am familiar with how to use it but for some reason on my S5 it won't stop the notification light from popping up on sms and WhatsApp messages. Any ideas?? Thanks

Hello.
I have the galaxy s5 and when i have it on silent mode and then make a call it turns all the sounds back on. So i have to put it on silent again. Is there some way to prevent the phone doing this by itself? Its anoying when your at your job and dont see the sounds are all ON.

Hello all,
I have the Galaxy note 3 and have tried everything to disable the shutter noise on the camera.
Tried turning volume all the way down.
Tried a few apps but none seem to work correctly.
Can someone please kindly explain how i can achieve this?
Thanks
If turning the device to vibrate doesn't work (turning volume down is not sufficient), you'll need to root, then rename the Shutter.ogg file.

Got it. Just rename shuuter.ogg by adding bak.
Thanks mate
