[Q] Small icons in game

Hi
Previously , I had a galaxy S3 and I used to play to Galaxy on Fire 2 game.
I switched to a Note 3 and the icons and controls in the game are far too small.
I have Crash ROM with Xposed and Wanam modules installed, and I tried with Per APP DPI module but it hasn't done anything
The settings I tried are DPI 360 or 240 and resolution 800x1280. Are those correct?
I think that the problem is that the game shows me a tablet controls and icons.
How can I make the game believe that the smartphone has less resolution?

I am using rooted 4.4.2 kk stock on i9500. Searched everywhere but havent yet found the solution. How to
Increase the icons size in app drawer. I want to keep the stock launcher ie touchwiz.
I like big icons as in ios

Sure. In build.prop is a setting labeled "ro.sf.lcd.density". The default setting is 480dpi. Change the DPI setting with a text editor and reboot to make everything on the screen larger or smaller. If you don't want everything to change size when you change the DPI, but do want to make the icons larger, you'll need to use a replacement launcher like Nova or an app like Giganticon.

Touchwiz stopped and stuck on error loop. Is there any range limitation

You likely did hit a limit. On my old device, which had a stock density of 160, it was possible to go as low as 120 without an issue, and could easily do 240. I personally haven't attempted to change the DPI on the S4 because the icons are plenty large enough as it is.
My personal recommendation is to not bother using the Touchwiz launcher and install Nova instead, rather than playing with DPI settings. Because as I mentioned previously, everything changes size when you change the density. It's not just the icons that will change size, but the text as well.

[HELP] Problem with DPI

Hi guys,
I tried to change my DPI with the adb method, i tried 540,n520 and 480, 480 was great but the TW ui was not scaling as well so i wanted to go back to stock, so i did this :
adb shell wm density 640
But now all is too much bigger than the stock, even the policy, and the icons theme changed i don't know why and the camera app is force closing.
Do you know what can i do to get back to stock DPI ?
I'm not rooted.

Tw doesn't support 480 dpi. Go back to normal 560 dpi or download nova launcher if you want less than 480 dpi.

Stock is 560 on the S6 edge plus, not 640. Also keep in mind many of the Samsung apps misbehave or force close if you change the DPI

The new marshmallow 6.01 update works better now on low dpi on s7 edge it does so should be same for s6 edge plus.

[HELP]how to reduce screen resolution on STOCK ROM to 720x1280 at 280 dpi ?

Hello guys,
I'm using i9500 s4 black edition.
I have done special test for battery saving and conclude that lowering resolution saves 40% battery.
Mine SOT time is approx 6 hours
So guys How can i reduce resolution in stock lollipop roms to 720p?
I have done via 2 ways . First terminal and second "nomone resolution changer" app
But notification dropdown becomes fuzzy and not usable ;( so how can i edit SYSTEMUI to work perfect in 720p?
Everything else is working fine but that systemui sucks.

Any perceived savings are due to the placebo effect, thus your test is...questionable. To fix the fuzzies, reset the dpi to stock, as there is no way to get everything working properly at the reduced dpi.

if you use xposed try a module called app settings and you can change dpi on a per app basis.

related to DPI

I've changed DPI of my moto. To 320 . N changed DPI ofcamera to default 480 (unless it won't work). Everything is cool but while selectingpics for choosing as profile picture in everyapp or for posting on Instagram. It's comes to crop sectionn it' only showing partialof that specific pic I've choosen. But it's has no problem wen posting.. so just help me find that app in Android that related to this pic preview on choosing profile pictures so that I can change its DPI to default with app seetings
