All Share / Screen Mirroring problem - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I'm using a rooted Galaxy Note 4 N910C with original ROM XEH-N910CXXU1BOC3 Lollipop 5.0.1 and a Samsung Smart TV UE46F8000.
I have problem connecting my push to tv device with note 4. It says connected on the tv then it goes black like its going to load the mirror but never does! On the note 4 after few seconds it return "Unable to start Screen Mirroring because of a hardware issue" (see image bellow).
I tried this Screen mirror fix without success.
I'll appreciate any help.

[Q] Galaxy S5 - Broken Screen - Locked - Get Picutres

Hello,
I am working on a T-Mobile Galaxy S5 and trying to get the photos off of it before i send it in. The screen is black and appears to not respond to touch. The device has a pattern lock screen on it. I have tried a MHL adaptor to see the screen but it would not show up on the TV. The device powers up and still receives notifications and calls. The computer recognizes the device but wont show the files as it is locked. When i try to use adb it says the device is unauthorized. I am unable to authorize it on the message that should pop up on the phone. Kies 3 recognizes the device but says it is locked. The device was never registered to the Samsung find your device page. Do any of you have any ideas left for me to try? Thank you in advance.

Srcreen Mirroring Won't Enable

Roku has a new Beta feature for some models allowing screen mirroring with your tablet. It should work with the 10.1 2014 edition, but I can't turn screen mirroring on. The slide button is greyed out and there is no obvious way to change that. My device is unrooted and up to date. I appreciate any assistance.

I am sorry I'm not any help but I too have had the same issue. On stock and haven't been able to screen share to a miracast device or with an HDMI cable either. Hopefully there is a solution, (I can't root the device).

According to the TWRP thread this is a problem if you have a custom recovery installed. (see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55890257&postcount=1055)
You can find a possible fix here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2621550

I got it working this past weekend. In application manager open "Allcast Dongle S/W Update." Click on uninstall updates, and then restart the machine. Screen Mirroring was then active and working. Allcast then updated itself, but that didn't disable Screen Mirroring.
The Ironic thing, is that the Roku feature is clearly not ready for prime time. It is slow and the screen is filled with digital artifacts.

Broken LCD - Steps before fixing ?

Hi,
I ve got my hand on a S4. It seems that the screen is dead but it could be more. I m trying to figure out if its worth to fix it or not.
So far I was able to put in download mode and flash stock rom BUT :
- I did not hear any boot sound after
- blue led flashing on boot
I then got my hand on an MHL / HDMI adapter. Connected to TV but got black screen (but signal detected).
Could it be that more than the screen is damaged ? Is there a way to see that ? Maybe a rom with ADB enabled by default ?
Thanks

HELP with Zoom S & chromecast

Hello guys.
I have a rather weird request: Can someone do a video of the phone doing the steps needed to cast the screen onto a chromecast, from unlocking the screen to casting successfully ?
The story is : my screen died. It was in my hand, no shocks or whatever. The touch still works (called 112 ) but no image. I've opened the phone and tried to move the data cable of the screen, unplugged it, unplugged the battery, only to see some faint lines when opening the phone and quickly dissapearing.
One time, it worked, the screen lit up and worked fine, don't know why. Restarted the phone, and didn't work any more.
No gsm/it services were able to help me, they said it's probably the main board (video chip) and it's not worth it, just buy a new phone.
I can feel the phone working fine, the unlocking is vibrating, and such, but I can't see anything.
I figured to cast the screen onto chromecast and save what ever I can. But I need your help in doing so, because I can't manage to blindly cast. A video of where to touch the screen to cast might help me. So please, spare a few minutes to help me out, and thank you very much !
