[Help]Nexus 4 stuck in bootloop "Even after flashing stock" - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I replaced light sensor 2 days ago on the nexus 4, when i packed everything to its place it got stock in bootloop (Still on stock).
then i downloaded the 4.3 stock firmware from developers.google.com flashed but it was still bricked, when i entered recovery mode it said it can't mount cache partition, so i wiped data and cache partitions which have succeeded, but the phone was still stuck in bootloop.
After that i downloaded the 5.1 where i was still hoping its a soft brick, and flashed it but the loop problem wasn't solved.

Nexus 4 stuck on bootanimation

My Nexus 4 is stuck on boot animation after i flashed google's factory image for 5.1.1
i even installed cm 12.1 later with twrp
i wiped everything too before flashing cm 12.1
it is still stuck on the boot animation
please help
I have the same problem. I'm hoping to find some answers before I switch back down to 5.1.0
"fastboot erase cache".
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29370941/not-able-to-flash-aosp-5-0-1-to-nexus-4-lg-device
That solved it for me for 5.1.1. At least it got to the "Android is updating..." part...
I did everything. Every command. I erased all the partitions and flashed them again and it's still the same. I'm stick at the animation. I installed like 7-8 ROMs, based on KitKat, Jelly Bean, Lollipop, Still the same
You have to boot in recovery and do Wipe Cache, and Dalvik cache and reboot
GOOD LUCK

NEXUS 6P no boot past animation

My brand new Nexus 6P was working fine until last night when I asked it to reboot in safe mode (after a normal reboot yielded the message "home won't start"). After a very long time of staring at the animation I booted into TWRP and wiped the delvik and regular caches ... still no dice. This morning I wiped the partitions all together and did a restore including the system and data from my back up from a week ago. Still no dice. The phone partially loads the restore and then reboots. Even a raw factory reset has failed. Phone is obviously rooted, has TWRP and has elemental X 1.16 on it. How do I fix this? Can it be wiped and fully reset with my computer like I used to do the Samsung S5? Does ODIN work on these (I am almost certain that is a no answer). Thanks!
Just attempted another full wipe and restore. It reboots out of restore as soon as it hits the part about writing system image.
ODIN will not work, you will need to use fastboot & adb.
I'd recommend following Heisenberg's guide here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928
and resetting to factory image
I ended up loading from scratch with ADB and Fastboot after I found the factory kernel and firmware online for it. No more screen filters for me.

Note 3 Stuck on Samsung Logo

My Note 3 crashed earlier on and wouldn't reboot for anything.
I managed to get into the Recovery Menu and wiped the Cache Partition, but no dice.
I have since reset to factory and re-wiped the Cache Partition, but still no dice.
Now all I get is the music when the logo appears and then the Samsung Logo with the sparkles behind it constantly. Nothing else works, and it doesn't move on after half an hour.
I can't force a reset through Kies, and I don't have any idea what to do now.
The device was originally rooted, I can't remember how. Its been an age since it was done.
Any help or advice much appreciated.
Usual answer .
Flash stock rom via Odin .
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/general/finally-official-5-0-firmware-galaxy-t3029557
Thanks. Was a bigger job than I imagined.
The update via ODIN kept failing, and it turned out I needed a PIT file.
Managed to flash the firmware (which failed), then unplugged and replugged the phone in and then flashed the PIT file.
I then needed to wipe the Cache Partition and reboot (as the Cache wouldn't mount).
Then I needed to re-wipe all files/factory reset, followed by another Cache Wipe.
Now phone is back up and running and I have the great task of recovering everything. Good job we have cloud backups.
Thanks very much for your advice.

Rebooting on stock and stuck booting on custom

Hello
I have a Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 SM-T230 that is not booting correctly.
I got it in a non working condition, kept rebooting when turned on.
I reflashed the stock ROM using Odin after installing TWRP but this would results in the tablet getting to the choose your language screen then restarting itself.
I tried the below versions of the stock ROM but they all have the same result:
T230XXU0ANG3_T230SER0ANG2_T230XXU0ANG3_HOME.tar.md 5
T230XXU0ANJ4_T230BTU0ANJ2_T230XXU0ANJ4_HOME.tar.md 5
T230XXU0ANK3_T230BSE0ANK1_T230XXU0ANK3_HOME.tar.md 5
StockRoms-Series_T230(NU)+V1.6.3
The custom ROMs I have tried get stuck on their startup/boot screen.
I have also tried:
Wiping all david, cache, data, system, internal.
Re partitioning using DEGASWIFI_HIDDEN_100M.pit
Using Odin 3.9 and 3.12 with the md5 file in the AP section
TWRP openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.1-degas and TRWP_2.8.7.0_EUR_VERSION
The custom ROMs cm-v13-degaswifi-kids-unofficial-20170713, ACHERON_ROM_V2.3.5_SM_T230_NU and [KK] [SM-T231/T230/NU] + Android 5.0 Lollipop Material Design
Combinations of reflashing, factory reseting, cache wiping.
Kies recovery but it will not maintain a connection, keeps disconnecting the tablet
Fixing partitions in TWRP
The only thing left to do as far as I am aware is to NAND Erase all but I am not sure if recovering after doing that is feasible.
Update: Tried Nand erasing, then re partitioning and reflashing of stock firmware, no change.
Tried EFS clear and Phone bootloader update.
Now the partitions appear to be broken and re partitioning with the pit file and reflashing does not fix it, cannot mount data or system.
Any suggestions to resolve this issue?
Thank you

Can't install stock ROM on Note 2 GT-N7100

Hi,
Am just a newbie in flashing roms and stuff like that. I have a note 2 GT-N7100 that was running 4.4.2. KitKat. I decicided to root the device and it was successful. Flash TWRP all went well. Then I tried flashing a custom ROM. I read about backups so I made a backup before flashing the ROM ViperOS 7.1.2. Flash Gapps and it was successful. But my Sim was not detected. So I retored backup and was back in 4.4.2. and the sim was detected. Unfortunately for me, my backup was in the internal memory of the phone. I thought the ViperOS was just faulty somehow not to have read my sim. So I tried a Marchmellow custom ROM from a site I can't remember. The phone got stock at Samsung Logo. I waited long time to no avail. Instead of clearing cache n dalvic I included internal memory and data. That was how I lost the back up. It took me to the stock recovery. I wipe data / factory reset. Still got stock at boot loop. I flashed TWRP via odin and it was successful. I flashed the viperOS it works but no Sim. I read through some threads and understood I lost my IMEI. I checked it was unknown. Baseband unknown. Tried a couple of proposed measures but to no avail. I thought the best thing was to go back to stock.
When I flash the stock, with odin it fail. I don't want to believe it can be cable or port issues since I flash TWRP successful. I tried flashfire. The flash completes bit it says "failed to mount cache. Invalid argument. Read that I have to mount and clear cache. Did all that with no success. For 5 days now. I really need help. Don't know what to do. Pls help me.
Thanks.
Am sorry for writing too much
