Until I save enough to buy a unlockable / rootable variant I spend time doing less interesting work.
I love this phone.
Nice theme!
Is it Nova launcher? What theme is that?

It's pretty nice. I would ask you to share it, but maybe you prefer to keep it personal
Cheers,
E.

I don't mind sharing but the icons are not in an .apk, I applied them individually.
One more
I added some more color.

Thanks to all the DEVS on here i appreciate your time and talent, and i would donate to every one of you guys but im not the richest person in the world. I do have a request if it's possible, here goes. I do have a brand new mt4g 3 days old now because of the screen and constant apps crash from my other. Since i downloaded a couple apps from the market and made it much more USER GUI custom rather than roms, because i have found to fail in this department with finding anything that i like (i'm picky, sorry devs, you do make great roms though ).
Attached is my home screen and i was wondering if anyone could make a simple mod (rom) to make the icon boxes transparent? Just show the icons? and remove the clock? I only ask this because I have the clock with beautiful widgets and did download another app for the power widgets. Or is there a simple setting i could mod in terminal? I appreciate it a bunch for anyone that could do this for me thanks a ton and....... (LONG LIVE XDA DEVS AND SUPPORTERS!!!)
I don't know about the clock, but ADW Ex will take care of the icon thing for you.
is that on market or can i get it here?
nvm i found it thanks again!
Launcher Pro as well...
I've been using it since I first got my nexus one and it's fantastic! The developer just added some nice new home screen transitions as well. Very customizable.

Still GO Launcher EX for me. For a free app, this is one beast of a launcher with slew of customization options. It now has the ability to mix and match components from different themes. I'm not affiliate with this app's author, just a fan .

You could probably try to pm the dev named "eugene373" over in the I9020T development section. He had the line removed in one of his ics roms.
ADW Ex - works very, very well with ICS.
I am bored up looking at same white Notification icons for wifi and mobile network. I am using custom ROM (Mahdi) and want to know if there is anything I can install which will change the notification icons color etc. very efficiently. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Belongs in Q&A.
CM11 Themes, Xposed, or recompiling SystemUI.apk.
Well I am using Mahdi and CM11 almost all of them are paid themes. Is there any free option available. How to recompile systemui.apk? Is there any tutorial for the same as well. I am a basic user and will be difficult for me to do this all.

here you go mate, mega index for CMthemes, free and paid

I agree with you when you say most of the good themes are paid, but most developers have a free and slightly stripped down version on xda.
for instance I use neon colors (paid) but there is a free version on XDA in case you wanna try before you buy...

I know the general consensus is touchwiz is vomit, and i tried my best to like it but couldnt.
I wish they would make it themes like sense had you could install.
Anyway, as I am only familiar with sense (years ago) and touchwiz, what other skins are out there that you actually like.
I have been following the overseas market lately and I wish we could try some of their skins.
China has been a market focused on value, but I will tell you there are some awesome phones out there we will never see or even hear of that would give these well known flagship phones a run for their money.
Anyway, name your skin of choice
Skin? Or launcher?
I use Nova, have for a long time and I love it.
I use Nova as well...
Have you tried Themer?

+1 on Themer. They have some really nice themes. Keep in mind Themer is a launcher replacement, so if you like Nova or Apex etc when you install Themer it also becomes your new launcher. Nova, Apex and the other well known launchers all have themes that you can install with the launcher. Lots of options.
Does anyone know is it possible to pick certain aspects from themes? For example i would like the notification tray from the midnight black team but i don't want the messaging app to be themed too nor the contacts app!! Iam assuming its not possible and you gotta just apply the whole of the theme?
Anyone?
This would be great. I love my theme but I hate the keyboard. I hope someone knows an answer or this gets implemented in an update.

Yeah on my HTC 10 i could do this! I could view various themes and pick and choose what i wanted from each theme (clock, icons, wallpapers etc) Sadly i didn't really appreciate it until now ha You could also create your own theme from scratch using a template they provide online! It appears Samsung don't do this and you must apply the whole theme
