My touch slide OTA coming. not froyo :(

I Just got a text from T-mobile with this in it.... been trying to root, maybe i will wait a little longer.

I believe the one from the development section was deleted.
Edit: I shouldn't have bothered responding, but since the post was already on top, I don't like when people try to fight back with incorrect information without any stats to back it up.

They are sacrificing tech by the point they pick the sucky SD 810. Overpriced toaster crap.
Also no Cyanogen? Good luck with that ****ty Oxygen, Hydrogen or wtf they call that piece of crap.
They won't even know how to support it properly.

You're probably right. There are only 50 or so tech companies that received the same type of message. Who believes in statements released to these companies anyway.

Click bait? They posted a quote that was given to them directly from LG.
Sounds to me like some people are out looking to cause a drama. No proof is needed, as the website has provided the quote. Major websites cannot and will not "lie" about these quotes/statements.

Reddit user claims to be able to unlock Verizon bootloader

Saw this on reddit today and figured I'd share. Assuming he's talking about 7.1.1 since it's pretty well known that dePixel8 can unlock pre 7.1.1. Having a hard time believing it...

Well since they did not specify the version of Android they were on, it may be real or they are mistaken and didn't know about the older method for 7.1.
If it was BS, they would have included 7.1.1 in the post because it was gather a lot of attention.

Yeah sorry - I've been busy with work, life, and much more. I'm happy to share my method with anyone on XDA who currently has a Verizon Pixel and is on 7.1.1 with a locked bootloader. Also, I'd really like to limit this to those who are actively trying to exploit the bootloader and would benefit from having an unlocked bootloader (testing purposes, etc). Feel free to reach out to me here or on reddit.
I'm not asking for any money, and I'm not asking for any donations. My method will never be sold, nor is it worth any bug bounty. It is a limited use method though, so if everyone uses it, it will eventually stop working.
To be transparent: It's not a true unlock by any means. It requires a bit of craftiness. My intention of posting the OP was to get unlocked devices into the hands of anyone who is going to try to exploit the bootloader. I'm just a casual at this and haven't done a lot of hardware hacking in my 15 years of development. (While I'm looking, I have yet to find anything).

I know, and i already did, but i use my camera a lot and the sotck rom is the best for camera perfomance

Did you trying the open camera. It's gives me better dark scenario performance than then stocks giveth me. Open camera.

I did, and in some scenarios it really performs ebtter, but hdr is slow and now raw support. I really use RAW format
