I am not a professionnal about repairing lg g3 but I have an issue that maybe related to the hardware.
When I install a custom rom the phone does not start is fixed at the initial logo screen (not the LG logo, but the custom rom logo). I waited over 15 minutes to boot but nothing. I tried several times, with identical or other rom, but the same each time.
The installation procedure is correct and i'm sure it's hardware related because i already installed a custom rom long time ago and it worked. This times, I don't know why not.
I already unbrick my lg g3 several times with this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-fix-hard-brick-recovery-guide-t3132359 and I succeded each time.
Is there anyway to reset my lg g3 motherboard, or unlock the bootloader manually ? Because my lg g3 can only boot on stock rom.

lg g2 d801 bootloop (no recovery)

hi - I have t mobile d801 .it has boot loop - show lg logo and then the android robot and then lg logo again.
it does enter download mode - but in the device manager cant install the drivers.
when the phone is plugged in to computer normally without download mode' it shows lge phone and drivers in device manager.
I tried to flash kdz bit stuck on 60%. it shows on phone download mode - but not show the firmware update logo.
what should I do?? (installed all drivers. please help. thanks!

read the SKR TOOLS program maybe it can help search or click on my signature where it says HERE and look for it in guides and fixes i think..

But i think.srk tool work only if phone has problem that shows alot of drivers in computer. Qalcom

ask in the thread if nothing can be done then i heard using nuke download can make download work. then you can install stock again.. but ask there.. or ask in the frequently asked question by vanderlant..

not sure never used skr tools you should ask there..

When the phone is not on d.mode and show the kg logi its detected this on device maneger

the only way to know is, by reading the one in the motherboard.. if its a different variant then you must use what the variant says.. here a thread and a video on how to.

if your device doesn't turn on. your device is hard bricked you need 'blank flash files' to flash the bootloader again.. I don't think Motorola has released those files for moto x play yet.

I've found the prog_emmc_firehose_8939.mbn here on XDA in another phone thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/help/question-qualcomm-download-mode-k-t3068040), but the blankflash image for our phone still missing. If you get any success please tell me!

File is 8936 not 8939.

Sorry, I didn't realize the mistake in the last number. ?

Apparently they use this 8936 file to flash the yu yureka, which uses a 8939 processor too. Please take a look at the thread I mentioned. We can try with this file

Unfortunately, I have the same issue. Black screen, only QDLoader 9008 mode.

I found prog_emmc_firehose_8939_asus.mbn file but there are no dedicated rawprogram0.xml & patch0.xml.
With other XML files, it doesn't work as well. The same error.

I have heard that NSA can turn on my phone remotely. Not sure if they deal with bricked phones. Should I ask them?

I got a LG K10 (K410F) and i cant upgrade my Android. My current version is 5.0.2 and no updates can be found.
There is no information about the K410F model... any advise?

is released. You've to wait till LG releases it. Whenever it comes, Marshmallow will arrive, I suppose. They might release it either before update comes, who knows.

I had the same thing happen to me several times. Follow the instructions for AT&T LG G2 and use LGUP_8974.dll - 1.4
That worked for me.
