Hi
Because my mobile operator has delays with OTA to Lollipop for S5 I'd like to de-brand my S5 from CSC PRT (Poland Play) to XEO (Poland)
But.. I heard that de-branding can count Knox to 0x1 and void warranty.
So... what should I do to de-brand my S5 G900F and have knox 0x0?
Please write step-for-step how to do it :0

Click to collapse
You can flash every firmware made for G928F simply using Odin and without root, if you don't need it.
i.e.: if your phone is "vodafone" now (G928FXXS2AOK9-G928FVFG2AOJ3), ... you can flash Fance (Bouygues) version without any problems (G928FXXU2APA2-G928FBOG2AOL1).
But flashing Custom Recovery will flag your Knox counter from 0x0 to 0x1 and this breaks your warranty.
I am having a Galaxy S5 G900F My phone is Rooted and the Knox counter will be 0x1. If I install official stock firmware from Sam mobile website through Odin will the Knox counter be again reseted to 0x0.
No. And next time you should do some searching before you post.
