Bootloop after flashing any roms

Hello people, can you help me please?
I can't install ANY custom roms. I have the latest 2.3.5 official rom.
Here's how I'm doing:
- Backup on CWM
- Wipe everything (factory reset, cache, dalvik cache)
- install zip
- reboot system now.
And then, black screen with Huawei red logo appears and starts to bootloop.
It occurs with any custom rom, I can only use the official one.
What's happening? Maybe I've to enable logcat? If yes, how can i do it trough ADB?
Best regards.
Ok, i've enabled logcat and occurs the same.. bootloops...
When i wipe dalvik-cache this message appears:
"E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]"
What does it mean?
I've unlocked the bootloader by doing this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457490
Well, I tried to flash again the custom roms (CM, Oxygen and MIUI) and made all the wipes, and I get stuck again at the Huawei logo...
Someone please help me?
Are you flashing the .35 kernel versions of the roms? Oxygen wont work as it has a .32 kernel. Whether that would cause a bootloop, I dont know.

I've got the same problem as you :/ Please post here if you've solved it.
Damn. Still nothing on this from anyone. I've been researching this for ages, and I can't find anything on anyone being able to solve this problem.
Possible solution!
I found a custom ROM that I could install without getting bootloops!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1481168
Just followed the directions and it actually worked this time!
boot to CWM -> factory reset* -> wipe cache partion & wipe dalvik cache -> format system directory* -> install the ROM from sdcard
I'm thinking that maybe the "format system directory" may be what fixed it... I'm really not sure. Never done that with any other ROM installation, so it would seem like this is a solution.

[Q] [CWM] Mounting problem

Hi, I'm trying to install Jelyblast v3, but the installation requires ClockworkMod. It should be simple as anything, just wipe the /data, /cache and the Dalvik cache. However, every time I try to do anything with cwm it says this:
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
My phone is rooted, and everything is made by the book and it fails like this.
The factory rom is Gingerbread 2.6 and I haven't bought the phone with any contract's. Also i've tried to find any logs inside the phone via Odin, but I just couldn't find anything.
So I really hope that you guys could help me, and sorry for not posting this to the cwm / jellyblast topic since I'm not allowed to do that yet, also sorry for creating a new topic, since I did not find any similar topics with search.
Try to use cwm skin I have same problem too

Use CWM Recovery by Mad Team. It's the best CWM Recovery for Galaxy Y so far.
Sent from my Galaxy Y using XDA Premium with Repensis v3.5 Advanced
Skin is the better one.when skin not worx for him than mads one doesnt work too.i think the problem can solved with a complete new firmwareflash with odin.
MANY GREEEEETZ!!!
That should be because the kernel doesnot have a built in cwm recovery.
Edit: Now I saw that it doesnot flash the rom, so its the cwm problem.

A quest. Did you ever have tried whats up when u mount system/data in cwm?
MANY GREEEEETZ!!!
error
i also get error in stock recovery
Many thanks to everyone
I got it working by changing my 16Gb Sd card to the one that came with my phone (2 Gb)
well... the regular cwm didn't work, but the Madteam's version isn't atleast complaining about mounting files, so I'll be installing über custom roms today.
Do you have any prefixes to "mark this as solved" or something like that here?

I prefer cwm by madteam than skin cwm coz cwm by madteam even backs up your kernel whereas cwm by skin does'nt.

(HELP) Defy freezes and reboot, no app working

Hello,
I have a Defy green lens and
I was using Quarx C1M10 9/24 ROM and it was running very well.
Then I updated to the 10/18 and it was laggin a lot so I decided to go back to 9/24 but now the mobile freezes and reboot frequently and I can't launch any application: the screen goes black and then it goes back to desktop.
Any idea of what to do ? I need your help and your knowledge !!
Thank you :good:

Downgrading from the latest build is not recommended. Please do a clean wipe and install the new build again. There is no such lags or bugs in the latest build.
If u can go to cwm recovery.
wipe data.
wipe cache.
dalvik wipe.
flash Rom, gapps.
repeat all the wipes..
reboot.. use the latest build.
there's a guy who has given the link for 25.11 build including the battery fix on quarx thread.

Thank you, I will try that.
I have noticed that there is also strange errors in CWM when going into custom recovery, it says :
E:Can't mount CACHE:recovery/log
There are 6 errors of that type. What could it be ? Do you think it could be a problem for the rom to work properly ??

On the 18th nov build, it formats your cache and data to ext 4 if I'm not wrong. What you have to do is manually Mount cache before restoring a backup.

When I try to mount the cache in the recovery menu, there is an error "Error mounting /cache!"..
I installed Quarx's 4.2 release and it works now !
I have another question : when trying to use another sd card, CWM cannot mount it, do you know why ?

You do have a custom recovery, don't you?
It seems like you are trying to flash from stock recovery.
You need a custom recovery (Clockworkmod or TWR) to install ROMs.
You can get it by using the 2ndinit app. (Read the all-in-one defy beginners guide.)
Don't forget to click the Thanks button if this helped you.

you flash percys kernel the same as you flash any zip
go into cwm
mount system
flash percys kernel zip
restart to recovery
you will get mount errors (dont worry)
format system data and cache
mount system data and cache
then flash the cm7 zip as already explained
